The Battle Is His, Victory Is Mine

Victory is your inheritance, if you are born again, and belong to the kingdom of God by receiving Christ in your life. First, desire your victory, await readily anticipating it to come on your way and then claim it through the word of God, “You give me your shield of victory and your right hand sustains me…” (Ps. 18:35). Jesus said, “…Take courage, I have overcome the world.” (Jn. 16:33).

TESTIMONY

When I graduated from Bible school and began my ministry, you encouraged me to seek the power of the Holy Spirit through fasting and prayer. So, beginning January I, 1974, I decided to fast for ten days. Before this time I had fasted for one or two days, but this was the first fast of any length I had attempted. On other fasting occasions after three days my strength would be gone, but God gave me special strength during this fast, and I was able to minister regularly in the chapel at the prayer mountain.

A.J.’s STORY
Before you read this testimony of the Awesome God we serve, I just wanted to lay some ground work. In 1995, I was “living the American Dream”. I found a copy of this old presumably out-of-print book by Dr Ja Shil Choi, the late mother-in-law of Dr Yonggi Cho, who is the pastor of the massive church in Seoul, Korea – Yoido Full Gospel Church. Dr Choi was the founder of Prayer Mountain in Korea.

This book deals with the power of God that may be released through fasting and prayer. It contains many wonderful testimonies. I saw no copyright notice on it, so I have taken the liberty of publishing it here on this site to inspire the current generation with wisdom from a great woman of God.

I got sick years ago. It had no cure. It is only a matter of years before I see myself physically deteriorate. It was all my fault. My dreams and hopes were all fading in the background. My life was over. No way out. God was my only salvation.

I kept my faith. Prayed everyday for forgiveness, mercy and redemption. God answered my prayers. I am healed of everything!!!!! So please do not stop believing. Hang on to your faith. God is alive and working. He makes miracles. Believe in Him. Pray, pray, pray. Live you life with love. Forgive yourself. Ask for God’s forgiveness.
