About Apostles of Jesus Christ

There are different kinds of apostles. There were the 12 apostles of the Lamb, who are unique in their position. But there are other people called apostles in the New Testament - like Timothy, Silas, James the brother of Jesus, Judas and others. As well as this, apostles are given by Jesus Christ until we all come to the unity of the faith, the measure of the Son of God, to the perfect man (Ephesians 4:11-13). Missionaries truly sent out by the Holy Spirit to plant churches or pioneer might be referred to as apostles.

This section of the site deals with issues about apostles, the apostolic, including how to spot false apostles, and whether we need true ones today, and how they work.

Why the manifest presence of the glory of God is vital in our church meetings

I was talking with two of the pastors of a large church about why it seems we change so slow after hearing so many sermons week after week in church for years. We asked ourselves: why is it so? What’s missing? Why do the sermons have so little effect on our hearts? Just imagine, if […]

Can we affect God’s plan to save people?

It all started with deep heart rendering questions in my heart. Why, when God truly wants to save souls and I sincerely want to play my part in that, there are not as many finances available as we would need to fully achieve that goal? I was serving God as a senior pastor in Romania […]

The Jesus Model of Evangelism in Luke 10

Over the last 50 years, and even before, believers in Jesus Christ have dared to break with church tradition more and more and return to believe in some of the audacious statements of Jesus Christ in the Bible.  When I was a boy, it was rare for people to believe that Christians could engage in […]

How Should the Local Church Deal with Apostolic Type People?

I have been listening to teaching on leadership by Dr John Johnson from Western Seminary. He says in a discussion about forming “consultative teams” that he recently formed a team with people in his church that for want of a better word are “apostolic”.  He formed what he called an “apostolic team” made up of […]

Consider the Faith of Your Leaders

“Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” (Hebrews 13:7, 8) To follow this word, we need to have human leaders. I know that it is easy to be disappointed […]

Be Strong in the Lord and Become a Spiritual Father

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that you have heard from me amongst many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 2:1-3 Main […]

Growing Pains in the Early Church

I was reading this morning once again the passage from Acts Chapter 6:1-7, which talks about a problem the Early Church encountered. Basically what happened this. On the Day of Pentecost, a lot of Jewish people from the Diaspora had come to Jerusalem to celebrate the Feasts, and they believed the gospel as Peter and […]

God’s Government

“And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.” (Ephesians 2:20)

God moves through PREACHING

Preaching is a God-Ordained Activity

The Bible says in 1 Corinthians 1:21 "For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe."
