On April 3, 2011, I was attending a 3-day Christian retreat called the Walk to Emmaus with my dad and three of my sons. I gave a talk Saturday afternoon about Christian action and one of the statements I made that day was, “God doesn’t call the equipped, He equips the called”. While speaking those words, I had no idea God was going to put that theory to the test with me the following day. On Sunday morning, I woke up with Him speaking to me with a very clear message.
With the massive publicicty surrounding the failed prediction of Harold Camping, atheists and other skeptics have had mock celebrations concerning the Rapture and so on.

My name is Sarah (I’m 17 years old) and I will be sharing my testimony of how the Lord Jesus healed me of my heart-breaking, agonizing eczema. For anyone who has or is going through this awful condition, I pray that my testimony encourages you and strengthens you in your faith and walk with God.

Imagine a man and his wife settling in for a nice, quiet, evening of entertainment at their comfortable home in suburban America. After a sumptuous and gratifying meal, the couple moves to their living room to enjoy conversation before retiring to bed. Suddenly, they hear a commotion in their front yard. As they peer through the large framed window, they see a man completely engulfed in flames desperately running in circles on their lawn. The scene is riveting and shocks the sensibilities of the couple: they can hear the man’s frantic cries, see the skin
The doctrine of "original sin" is a very difficult one. Unfortunately, the Scriptures are not explicit in detailing the universal condition of men and the complexities and dynamics of how Adam's sin affected his posterity. Nonetheless, I do believe there are some theological absolutes.
I hold to what I refer to as a "modified view of original sin", namely:
As a Christian father of two beautiful young daughters, and as someone interested in God having a holy people for Himself out of this present generation, I have become interested in Christian education.
I am getting interested in this to the point that I am now in the process of switching career direction once again so that I can be more actively involved in this field.

As expected by all Christians who take the words of Jesus seriously, the Rapture did not happen as Harold Camping predicted on May 21.
Its amazing how people can ignore the clear teaching of Scripture

If anyone claims to know the time of Christ's return, they are seriously deceived.
"Lady Gaga" has become something of a worldwide pop culture phenomenon. On youtube alone, her videos have had HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS of views and I understand her songs play on the radio a lot too. I see references to "Lady Gaga" all over the newspapers, all over the internet and someone mentions that name at least every second on twitter. She has been named as one of the world's most influential, if not THE most influential celebrity. Quite a marketing coup!
