Is Repentance Required for Salvation or is such teaching a form of Works Righteousness?

If a person claiming to be a Christian embraces an ungodly lifestyle and refuses to change his or her mind and forsake this lifestyle, and they die, will they go to heaven or hell?

What if that person firmly believes that because of the sacrifice of Jesus, their sins are covered by the blood and they are under the grace of God? What if they also say that they have at one time "received Jesus as Lord and Savior"? What if they call Jesus Lord when they pray and even say, "Jesus is Lord!" on various occasions.

Falling Short of the Grace of God – Is this possible?

On a recent Facebook post of mine someone commented:

You said "While legally Christ has dealt with our sin once and for all, Christians often do fall short of the grace of God"… If it is Grace, how does a lack of righteousness cause me to fall short of it? Only trusting my righteousness can do that.

Allow me to refer to the Scriptures:

My Second Chance

The Bible says that “the Word of the Lord came unto Jonah the second time saying….” and I am so thankful and joyful that God indeed is the God of a Second chance and third and fourth, etc. I had been in full time ministry for several years, and in the course of events that transpired, I fell in sin and backslid on the Lord.

Theistic Determinism, Compatibilism vs Free Will

Calvinists are theistic determinists. The Westminster Confession of Faith, declares that

"God, from all eternity, did, by the most wise and holy counsel of His own will, freely, and unchangeably ordain whatsoever comes to pass” (Westminster Confession of Faith, III/i).

Did you hear that? They are saying that God unchangeable ordained whatever comes to pass! This means:

Every child molestation was ordained by God.

Every war was ordained by God.

All war crimes were ordained by God.

The unbelief of man was ordained by God.

Over the years, I have heard many criticisms about the Charismatic form of worship. I myself came from a conservative evangelical church. Reality is, there is no perfect church and in whichever church I attend, there are negative aspects. So at the end of the day, I choose a church that connects me with God most, and that’s what I like about the Charismatic churches.

Head vs Heart

Do you have intimacy issues? What I’m referring to here is, do you feel difficult to give your heart to anyone, to trust anyone, and to feel much at all? Many of us suffer from intimacy issues but don’t realise it. We are not able to feel the emotions of things very much and may even be removed from the actual emotions itself.

Christ is the only Way to reach God

I am not a good Christian. I’m still not a good Christian. But I try to be a good one, at least one that is good in God’s eyes.

More Freedom for Christians in Iraq under Saddam Hussein?

Conditions are so severe that "infants are being kidnapped…killed and delivered to the front steps of their Christian parents gift-wrapped as presents," (Norm) Nelson of Compassion Radio, reports.

Salvation message of the Apostles is totally different from todays salvation taught in most churches part #4 (conclusion)

Romans 7:22, for I joyfully concur that the law of God with the inner man. Is the law bad? No! Well we are not under law is what many Christians go around quoting. You are if you are not doing it. You are under the judgment of the law. I see a different law in the members of my body. Members of my body like your tongue, your eyes, you hands, your feet waging war. Okay you are in a war. Did you know you are in a war? If you don’t know you are in a war you are being defeated. If you don’t know you are in a war you are being beat up, killed, and destroyed.
