WOMEN IN MINISTRY?

Elijah and the Prophets of Baal

A Sunday School teacher told her class about the story of Elijah and the prophets of Baal. The prophets of Baal tried to get their god to send fire to ignite the offering they had put on their altar. Of course, their god couldn't do it. Then Elijah put his offering of a bull on an altar. But before he called on God to ignite it from heaven, he had the people pour water on the bull four times. The teacher asked the class if they knew why Elijah would do that.

A little girl waved her hand excitedly. "I know, I know," she said, "To make the gravy!"

Papa God today, when I awoke, I suddenly realized that this is the best day of my life, ever!

There were times when I wondered if I would make it to today; but here it is! You have brought me through so many difficult things and times to arrive here today.

So I'm going to celebrate with You Lord!
Today, and I want to celebrate with you before the all the host of Heaven.

I just want to celebrate what an unbelievable life I have had so far and thank you for everything, for every breath I take.

Thank You Lord for all the accomplishments, and the many blessings, and, even all the hardships and trails I went through because they have served to make me stronger just as You told me they would do in Bible.
Your Word tells us to rejoice again and again rejoice.

Thank you for sending the Lord Jesus to paid the greatest price for my every sin and that You forgive us all our sins when we repent of them. That is such amazing grace Lord.

I am just in awe of what You have done here and marvel at Your creations,

The sun, the moon and stars, that we are just floating and suspended in an orbit round the sun in an ever expanding universe.

Thank you for all the colourful sunrise and sunsets,  the shapes of moving clouds, the  changes in the seasons, the trees, the flowers, the birds, fish and animals.

Today, I do not want any of these miraculous creations to escape my notice. Along with all the smiling faces you designed,
Today, I want to share my excitement for life with other people.

That signs and wonders and miracles follow after us as we follow after You Lord.

I pray that you use me even if it’s just to make someone smile or laugh and release good chemicals into their holy Temples, to release Your anointing and healing touch that they be healed.

Help me to perform an unexpected act of kindness for someone I don't even know, or give a sincere compliment to someone who seems down. To tell a child how special they are, and to express Your  love through me just how deeply I really mean it.

Help me to stop being fearful about what I don't have yet, and start being grateful for all the wonderful things You have already given me.
That I stop wasting time with ungodly thinking and unclean spirits because my faith in You raises up and causes me to see Your  Divine Plan and that ensures me everything is going to work out in Your perfect timing.

I praise Your Holy Name and worship You my Lord and I thank You now for the best day of my life. And I will sleep the sweet sleep of a contented child tonight, excited with expectation because I know You will also cause all my tomorrows to be the best day of my life too! Thank You Papa God in Jesus Christ of Nazareth name.

WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT…

WOMEN IN MINISTRY?

Over the years I have been confronted with this question numerous times.

I have had people get upset that I allow women to even speak in a church meeting.

What a silly thing to be upset about, I had one couple confront me some years ago as they were taught women were not allowed to ever speak in church meetings. So I asked them, ‘ how can she get saved then if she is not allowed to speak?

Well that stunned them as I recall and I went back to my office to study more and find more answers for the next time I was confronted with this stuff.

Is there a place for  women in ministry and  to what extent does the Bible instruct she is allowed to do? Is there any scriptural basis for a woman to ever be in any position of authority in the church? As in anything else I would teach or preach on, my word and opinions are just that, but the Word of Papa God settles it once and for all.

So let me take you on a little journey today through the Bible and I promise I will not read it in its entirety even though I like to give you the entire Bible in one easy to understand message.

If we are going to really try and understand Papa God's intentions, it seems a good idea we go back to the very beginning of creation to see His original purpose for both man and woman.

MALE AND FEMALE CREATED HE THEM

Genesis 1:27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

28And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Genesis 5:1This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

2Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

How interesting is it read here that  Papa God called both male and female, "Adam" in the day they were created. Adam means "man." So we have Mr. Adam and Madam Adam here together again for a limited time only.

Adam and Eve were created with God-ordained differences from each other as many of you have figured out by now, but somehow together they seem to be a complete idea here. In the beginning they were somehow in a perfect union together made in the image and likeness of Papa God.

The Lord presented Eve to Adam and he must have said something to the effect of "Wo -Man" at his first impression of seeing her.

There was somehow a sense of perfection here in their union together before sin entered into the picture. Their differences were not a source of discord or inequality before the fall, but we get a sense of a beautiful way they were complimenting each other, like peanut butter and jelly go together, even though they really do not stick to each other and can work well independently, together they make a delightful union, like the two become like one.

Together, Papa God gave Adam and Eve the assignment of overseeing and ruling His creation on this planet that was formerly run by Lucifer, before the entire planet was destroyed as we read in the Genesis 1In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

2And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

Here the Lord alludes to the fact as read in other passages of Scripture that there was a world here before this present one. For example the flood of Noah there was still life as there were fish in the waters and of course Noah’s family and animals and the waters continually abated or went down , in Lucifer flood there was nothing left, the waters covered the earth and did not abate and there was no light, but utter darkness. Still there was some invisible disembodied beings and a former arch angel cast down here before the Lord recreated this planet.

So the Lord created Adam and Eve and put them in charge and tells them to replenish the earth, well how can you replenish the earth unless there was something there to replenish. For example, you say to someone please replenish my drink I have completely drunk my first glass of water.

We will examine that more later, suffice it to say the Bible clearly teaches this there was a world here before Adam, which helps explain a number of things like why evil had a way to access them in the garden of paradise.

So here they are in this wonderful place and Papa God gives them an assignment.

Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Notice here that Papa God gave  this assignment to them both, the man and the women together here.  Which seems to indicate there was a sense of equal authority here between man and woman as they existed in a sinless state.  Running about paradise wearing nothing but their birthday suits and dinning on all the wonderful organic plants and seeds.

You get the idea they were in great physical, emotional and spiritual shape here. These people were in Homeostasis, there was nothing the enemy was able to link up with to cause them sickness and diseases. They were built to live forever. It was all too beautiful apparently. You just have to wonder how it would be today if they never sinned?

But that is actually where we as believers are headed to, as the Lord’s plan to restore this planet to His original plan unfolds more and more each day until we see His return. People get ready there’s a train a coming, sooner then many expect.

So sadly we read about in Genesis 3 where sin enters in, which caused a  temporary curse placed upon both man and woman, and has affected this whole planet.

I sometimes wonder if after Eve sinned that Adam understood she would now be separated from him and willingly sinned along with her because he was so in love with her? I mean I recall an old saying that said something along the lines of. “ A women can help a man reach for greatness, but can also prevent him from reaching it”.

Actually maybe I said that once in a song I wrote?

But the point is I know I would willingly lay down my life for my wife Joan even before we married as I am so in love with her, but still I rather live for her then die for her.

Maybe Adam just did not want to even consider trying to reason with Papa God at that moment of crisis, after all he knew the rules, there was only one commandment in their Bible at that time they had to keep and Eve went and broke it. So even though they had this awesome relationship with Papa God and they took walks together in the cool of the evening.  They were able to see how loving and kind He was, how He had every answer to every question they could ever ask or think yet, somehow Adam did not know how to deal with a crisis, like this one. This is the stuff that Shakespeare wrote about with Romeo and Juliet. I get the sense here possibly Adam chose to die with Eve. Before his spiritual eyes were opened after he also ate the forbidden fruit. Then he suddenly had a spirit of fear and a spirit of shame that was not there before. Now the devil did not just have Eve but Adam as well in his trap.

And it has obviously been a place we can draw a direct starting point to where all hell broke lose.  Praise God for sending Jesus to give us a way out of this mess.

Here is Genesis 3 the Lord deals with Adam and Eve and the devil all at once.

Genesis 3:14-19: "And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee. And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return."

This curse has affected all aspects of creation, even the ground became infested with weeds and thorns just as it did to human relationships.  But again this is all a temporary thing, because of what happened at the cross.

So Eve believe a lie from the serpent which put her into a place of questioning Papa God and she starts to entertain the thought that somehow Papa God is holding her back from all she can be. That was a spirit of doubt trying to gain a foothold with her.

After Eve went and ate the forbidden fruit and nothing happened  to her immediately she repeated her experiment  and enticed Adam to sin with her if that is how it happened, which brings about this very harsh consequences for women which  was the loss of equality with men, as men were to rule over women now, instead of men and women ruling together.

She would now be "ruled by her husband." However, when Jesus came as sinless Man and died as the Messiah on the cross for all of us at Calvary , all things were restored positionally at that moment. In actuality, the restoration of man and women began to take place at that very moment.

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

We now have a way that we might destroy sin in our lives that we did not have before Jesus beat the devil at the cross and His resurrection.

Certainly we are still dealing with the effects of curses that have been past down from generation to generation, no matter how many pastors and churches try and explain it away with,

Galatians 3: 13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

Why don’t they read it in content because even the next line  confirms Romans 6:6 in Galatians 3: 14 is says

14That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Again that we might receive it, because now its possible, when we become a doer of the word as the rest of this passage talks about walking in faith.

Still the great day is coming when a complete removal of the curse will be manifested on the earth.

Or to put it another way, all those who receive Jesus as Savior receive restoration as Sons of God, but not all of us walk in that restoration–yet.

Not all of us appropriate what the Lord has done for us.

When people receive the Lord Jesus the curses start to fall off, even the curse upon women has been lifted. Women no longer have to receive pain in childbirth as we know of several that learn this truth through  PVC and delivered without pain so they say. All the husbands said that too that there was no pain for them in the birthing process. Just joking.

We also as believers do not think women are in any way inferior to man as the weaker sex, with man ruling over them.  As Women have been  restored to their original place in the spiritual  position which is the obvious plan that Papa God had for all His children all along.  Even though we do not always see all things restored at this time, "legally" in the spiritual realm, they already have been taken care of after Jesus took our place on the cross.

Adam was the head of the first race of mankind; and Jesus is the head of the last race, the adopted children of Papa God. There was the old pre -Adamic race, before the world was laid void and water covered the whole earth until the Lord in Genesis 1 recreated the earth and asked Adam and Eve to replenish the earth. Well there had to be something here before to be able to replenish the earth for.

We are all from the Adamic race as all natural-born mankind, however as Believers we are Papa God’s adopted  children through Jesus Christ of Nazareth because we have also been   born of the spirit. We worship Him in spirit and in truth.

"For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive" (I Corinthians 15:21-22).

Once we are born into the kingdom of God, we become new creatures in Christ. In the Spirit, we find there is "neither male nor female, discrimination here " just as there are no race distinctions nor class separations in Papa God world yellow, black, red, and white we are all precious in His sight. The Lord eyes go to and fro and looks on the hearts of His people and He does not discriminate when He offers His love and all the benefits of being His kids and all the privileges. Women are not excluded from any of God's promises nor callings merely because of their sex.

Galatians 3:28: "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus."

The question has been asked, well then does Papa GOD have MASCULINE AND FEMININE TRAITS.

I suggest to you for your consideration Genesis 1: 26And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.

27So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Now we also know that Papa God appears to have a white hair and eyes like flames of fire and feet like fine shiny mirror like Brass.

Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

Revealtion 1:14  His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

15And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

16And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

17And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:

18I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

Revelation 2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;

We also know that Jesus is an equestrian so Papa God must be one too as if you’ve seen the Jesus you’ve seen the Father.

Revelation 19: 11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.

12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.

15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.

16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.

So Papa God and Jesus would be considered a gentleman’s man’s man. Yet we know that also means a man who cares and is in touch with his feelings. A loving protective father  who can hold his child in his arms and kiss them.

As we established already Adam and Eve were to have dominion over and subdue the earth and that was a commandment as well as an assignment. They were both to rule and reign over the Lord's creation. The very act of subduing something requires authority, aggressiveness and leadership, as well as humility, tenderness, patience, and the ability to respect the intrinsic value of what we are ruling. All of that requires great love.

If we are to put on the mindset of Christ, both men and women are to become more like Him as we are conformed to His image each day.

Then that means a women is able to assert herself the same as a man would and we are to boldly assert the power and authority  we have been given by Jesus Christ of Nazareth to overcome the enemy.

Papa God still desires that His people rule and reign with Him. His intention is to qualify us for that position, whether we be male or female. "And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen" (Revelation 1:6).

To be a "kings" is a masculine term, just as He called both Adam and Eve

“ Adam”.

The Lord often uses both male and female terms to refer to both sexes in Scripture.

Women are to live in the "hidden man of the heart" (1 Peter 3:4). Both men and women in the church are referred to as "the bride of Christ." As we have already taught before that refers to the New Jerusalem, like if you live in London you be called a Londoner, or in NewYork and New Yorker.

Jesus prayed over Jerusalem in Matthew 23:37 .

"O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!"

Giving us a word picture of wanting to protect us and keep us safe. But we often like the people of Jerusalem do not want to submit.

Submission is considered by many to be a feminine trait. However, Jesus submitted to the cross under the direction of the Papa God. As He is our example, if we walk in the Spirit, we too must be willing to submit to our Lord.

We tend to equate submission with weakness and lack of spirit, yet nothing could be further from the plain truth. There was never a human being more submitted to Papa God than Jesus Christ– yet at the same time He overcame all the temptations the devil offered him in this world. That meant He had to remain submitted to Papa God and still assert great power and authority.

For the Christian, whether we are male or female, He is our model. We are to continually try and think like He does and that way we can operate in all the gifts and signs and wonders and miracles and healing’s will follow us.

WOMEN AS MINISTERS

So what does all this have to do with women in ministry? Now that we have  set a standard and laid a biblical foundation for "neither male nor female" in Christ, in fact it says in

2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

There are people who have been taught and programmed that women should not be allowed to speak in church or serve in a leadership position. Because we have Scriptures that seem to indicate that. I have had people get in my face over the years over these issues who come out of all these denominational churches who just don’t understand.

I had people who refused to go to PVC to get the help they needed because of women pastors on their staff, so I just want to go on record today and settle this thing from the Bible as one of the Lord’s representatives, as a member of the 5 fold ministry.

Here is the case that is presented.

1 Corinthians 14:34 "Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law"

(1 Timothy 2:11-12)."Let the woman learn in silence with all subjection. But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence"

When you really study the whole Bible this can only really mean that Paul  is not speaking about women who were already in the ministry, but rather those in the congregation who were simply out of order.  Consider that many women back then were not educated and so some of them would speak loudly and ask their husband, “what does that mean I don’t understand what he mean?,’ interrupting the flow of the service.

Because Paul himself explains this issue and even gives us a list of women who were all in influential positions of leadership in the early church.

Pheobe (Romans 16:1-2)

1I commend unto you Phebe our sister, which is a servant of the church which is at Cenchrea:

2That ye receive her in the Lord, as becometh saints, and that ye assist her in whatsoever business she hath need of you: for she hath been a succourer of many, and of myself also.

Many Christian denominations teach the Scriptures based on mistranslations of those goofy modern versions of the Bible that Phebe was just a good little "helper". However, when the word is accurately and properly defined, we find that. Let me read this explanation here I found.

succourer (Greek: prostatis) a feminine form of prostates, denotes "a protectress, patroness"; it is used metaphorically of Phoebe in Rom. 16:2. It is a word of dignity, evidently chosen instead of others which might have been used (see e.g. under HELPER), and indicates the high esteem with which she was regarded, as one who had been a protectress of many†.

Strong's Complete Dictionary of Bible Words states that the Greek word for succourer, prostatis, is a feminine word derived from proistemi, which means to preside, to practice, maintain, be over, rule [Strong's 4368, 4291].

What does a pastor do? A pastor maintains and tends the flock the Lord entrust’s to them.

Definitions according to Vine's† Complete Expository Dictionary of Old and New Testament Words:

pastor (Greek: poimen) a shepherd, one who tends herds or flocks Eph. 4:11, "Pastors" guide as well as feed the flock with the Word of God. That is a organic healthy living Word to keep you strong and healthy and prosperous or help you get there.

Next, Paul says that Phebe is a servant of the church. The Greek word for servant is as follows:

deacon (Greek: diakonos) the servants of Christ in the work of preaching and teaching, Rom. 16:1 (used of a woman here only
in New Testament.

Upon careful examination of this verse, we see that Phebe was, in fact, a female pastor who maintained her flock, and shared in the work of preaching and teaching.

Next, a look at Romans 16:7: <BR
"Salute Andronicus and Junia, my kinsmen, and my fellowprisoners, who are of note among the apostles, who also were in Christ before me."

Junia was in Christ exercising her gift before Paul, and before he had any need to address the unlearned and disruptive women of 1 Timothy 2:12. He clearly states that she was "of note among the apostles".

According to the KJV New Testament Greek Lexicon, the name Junia is defined as follows:

Junia = "youthful"

She was a  Christian woman at Rome, mentioned by Paul as one of his kinsfolk and fellow prisoners.

Lastly, the Greek word for apostle, as defined in Romans 16:7, means one sent forth. Strong's Complete Bible Dictionary defines the word apostle as follows:

an abassador of the Gospel; officially a commissioner of Christ, messenger.

Therefore, we conclude then that Junia was a youthful Christian woman who was an apostle, an ambassador of the Gospel, a commissioner of Christ, a messenger.

In some modern translations, an "s" has been added (Junias) because the translators were so sure a woman could not be an apostle, that they wrongly assumed a copyist has accidentally dropped the "s." However the proper male ending would have been "ius," not "ias." No church commentator before the Middle Ages ever questioned that Junia was both a woman and an apostle.

We have Priscilla -Acts 18:26 And he began to speak boldly in the synagogue: whom when Aquila and Priscilla had heard, they took him unto them, and expounded unto him the way of God more perfectly.

Priscilla and her husband Aquila are often mentioned with great respect by Paul. Together they were pastors of a church in Ephesus, and were responsible for teaching the full gospel to Apollos. We are informed that they both taught Apollos, and pastored the church together.

(Other references to Priscilla and Aquila are found in places like Acts 18:2, -18; Romans 16:3, and I Corinthians 16:19).

Then we have Euodia and Syntyche  in Philippians 4:2-3

2I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

3And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

Here are  two women who were "true yokefellow" and who labored with Paul for the advancement of the gospel to help bring some heaven to earth.

If you study the Bible you will find women in positions of leadership all through it, there were women who the Lord made leaders,  prophetesses, evangelists, judges, etc.,

If  Paul expected women  not to speak in the church, why did the Lord cause him to give us

1 Corinthians 11:5, "But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven."

You see how religious programming has been brought into our churches. There are no contradictions in the Bible if you don’t understand something keep studying until the Holy Spirit teaches you.

When Paul wrote to Timothy about this sort of thing, Again, it is important to understand the context in which the letter was written. In I Timothy, we find that many heresies and false teachings were running about.

I think it be safe to draw the conclusion here that many of the proponents and victims of the false teachings may have been women.

Timothy was a pastor in Ephesus, where goddess worship played a large part in Paul dealing so severely with the women there. Ephesus was a primary center of the worship of Diana or Artemis if you recall.  It was filled with witchcraft and occultism. The heresies being taught might have suggested that women were authoritative over men and had higher access to spiritual knowledge than men did.  Because that same spirit is doing that today in places where witches gather, its part of that false movement the feminist are trying to feed us, its on TV shows. In the 50 and 60’s father knew best. Now fathers are portrayed as lower then grasshoppers on TV.

Please keep in mind that many of Paul's epistles dealt with local problems because they still are applicable today or the Lord would not have put them in the Bible for us to have.

In the  early church the Lord Jesus would call and ordain anyone He chose, Believer did not question it because if  Jesus said it, He meant it—and that settled it!

The Bible mentions a prophetess named Anna who was in the Temple when Jesus was brought there as a baby. In (Luke 2:25-35), and she was one of two people who recognized Jesus as the Messiah there because  she  must have been sensitive to the Holy Spirit leading her as we should be.

It seems that Paul's writings are sometimes misunderstood today because some theologians and others simply did not understand some thing’s. So they made something up to compensate for their lack of knowledge the way some church teach the gifts have past away to make up for the fact nothing much is happening with them. Well the Bible says you must believe for something to happen. Mark 16.15-20

The Holy Spirit is the one who is suppose to be teaching us what we need to know. Luke 12: 12 For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

How does this effect my salvation? If your name is written in the Lambs book of life, you continue to be a doer of the Word. Better to listen to the Word of God and read your Bible then trust in the ideas some one has about it. That is why we use so many Scriptures when we teach and preach here. My opinion does not much matter, What the Lord said is life or death.

So we must rely on the Holy Spirit, that comes to teach us and we also have the  testimony of  the Scripture to interpret how we are to apply these things to our everyday lives.

Scripture should always be compared with other Scripture, out of the mouth of more then one witness, that is why the Lord gave us the 4 Gospel of Matthew, Luke, Mark and John. So we can keep it all in context as we consider and mediate on the Word.

In Paul's day just like today, there were those who tried to twist the meaning his words. Because some of his letter’s contain things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people  tend to distort, as they do other Scriptures. We need to pray the find the truth.

2 Peter 3:16  As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.

Many people try and twist the Scriptures, seeking a way to make them fit some opinion  they hold, hoping somehow to give it  some Biblical authority to their peculiar prejudices, instead of allowing the Lord to say what He means.

Such distortion of Scripture has generated a plethora of cults and heresies yesterday and today. Which helps explain the mess we the church find ourselves in today.

This was essentially Christ's view of the Pharisees. We find that in Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

So for those who have ears to hear and eyes to see let us come to the conclusion that the Bible plainly says women can be called and hold any positions of the five-fold offices of apostle, prophet, pastor, evangelist and teacher.

If you want to argue about take it before the Lord and let Him deal with you.

My job is to feed you with the Word of God. This is what the Bible says.

Has anyone ever wondered why those churches in certain denominations will go ahead and allow women to go to foreign mission fields and teach heathen men, but will not allow the "heathen" men here at  home to be taught by the same women!

Reminds me of how I was treated when I first started playing in churches. The Leadership would say, we recognize your gift of music and evangelism, but your music attracts the wrong type of people to our church so go and be warm and prosper somewhere else.

You see how religious spirits can mess with the church, the bottom line just treat everyone with the same respect you would want to be treated with.

Those men from Churches that insist on excluding women from serving in the ministries are most often the ones who are not yet spirit- filled, they are not really walking in the Spirit and having any signs and wonders follow them. No one is getting healed in their churches by the Holy Spirit because they won’t welcome Him in. These are the same pastors who fall into pornography and yucky stuff like that, because they been programmed and taught to see women after the flesh just viewing her in a sexual way, not walking after the Spirit and seeing her heart and her calling.

The Lord tells us in His Word that we are not to look at one another with regard to our sex, race, class or culture, but rather we are to see one another through spiritual eyes as brothers and sister.

2 Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

17Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

 18And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

19To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

20Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

21For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Papa God wants to use any person who will submit to His  Holy Spirit, regardless of that person's sex or capabilities. We are a new creature in Christ and can do all things through Christ who gives us the strength and ability to do it.

Instead of seeing things as rules for our flesh or rules for our spirit, just come together here and discern when to apply the appropriate Scriptures and keep walking in Christ love.

2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

THE FIVE-FOLD MINISTRY

 (Ephesians 4:8-12).

It is the Lord who calls men and women to His ministry. He does not call special people, because what He does for one He will do for another. Because He loves all His kids and we are all special to Him.

He does not want anyone to perish and end up in the wrong place and He does everything He can to help you make the right choices.

We are called to salvation; then as we start to walk in obedience to Him, He calls for us to be baptized in His Holy Spirit. As we continue to obey and follow Him, He then may choose us to serve Him in a full-time ministry. It is really His decision.  He once told me when I tried to tell Him I was quite happy just being an artist and musician that I was part of the 5 fold ministry whether I liked it or not.

It seems Papa God chooses people for the ministry out of those who have walked in  some obedience to His other calls. He desires that all follow, but it makes sense that He would only choose those who are obedient. Even when they goof up like Moses and King David, still they had a heart to obey.

The men and women who answer this call on their life are set in the ministry by the Lord  Himself. Man's ordination from some cemetery of higher learning does not qualify them, only the ordination of Papa God does.

People are like sheep and they will recognize those who are truly called by the Lord. They will  recognize those He empowers with His anointing and power which cannot be denied. Because we do not all operate in the same gifting’s and some of those gifts of the Holy Spirit are healing and miracles as Papa God decides.

Jeremiah 3:15 And I will give you pastors according to mine heart, which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding.

Ephesians 4:11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

This tell us the Lord will appoint and give you a gift of  someone  to be to be an apostles a (special messengers), some prophets (inspired preachers with words of knowledge and those who are able to explain the Bible to you and expound on it), some evangelists (preachers of the Gospel, like traveling missionaries), some pastors (shepherds of His flock) and teachers to help you get all the tools you need to maneuver through this world in this life.

Ephesians 4 :12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

It’s the Lord’s  intention to do this is for the perfecting and the equipping of the saints  for His consecrated people, so we can do the work of ministering and building up Christ's body (the church).

We are doing this until we all begin to attain oneness in the faith and in the comprehension of the full and accurate knowledge of the Son of God; That we finally one day realize how much the Lord really loves us.

Over in

Romans 12

1I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

2And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

The Lord has some really big plans for you here, your job is just to submit to God.

So lets take on the harder questions now.

If Jesus wanted women to minister, how come all His disciples were men? Jesus had many women disciples which included people like Mary and Martha  in John 11:1-4,  you will find a number of references. Mary and Martha, along with their brother Lazarus were among Jesus' closest friends). Keeping in mind Jesus had many other women followers as well.

Luke 8

1And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,

2And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,

3And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

The Scripture makes it clear there were many women following Jesus.

In Matthew 12:49-50. Jesus motions to the crowds that followed him and said, "Behold my mother and my brethren! For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother" (Matthew 12:49-50).

In John 4:1-42, there is that Samaritan woman who leads a large population of her community to Jesus.

So Why didn't Jesus choose any women to be among His twelve original apostles? Probably for the same reason when I was traveling with my band it was all guys. Because it would not be wisdom for men and women to be travelling about together when many of them were single with the original  twelve he picked. Also, I think it may have to do with  the twelve apostles fulfilling a  "type and shadow" of the twelve patriarchs, so they had to be men.

Revelation 21:1212And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:

13On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.

14And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

But somewhere soon after the twelve Apostles  came our sister Junia in a apostolic role which can not be denied.

The Lord Jesus always showed a great deal of respect for women and children so we need to as well. In the culture of Jesus' day, women and children were often considered  a "lower class" so to speak, and not worth paying serious attention to. Like in many places in the Middle East today.

However, Jesus Christ of Nazareth, the Revolutionary he was, repeatedly broke those goofy rules right in front of those who made them.

Which even surprised and annoyed those closest to Him like when he said let the little children come to me after the Apostles tried to prevent the children from bothering Jesus.

WOMAN, THOU ART LOOSED!

I pray that this teaching will encourage you that we are called to be like Jesus whether you are an Adam or Madam Adam, Male or female.

No matter who we are in the Lord, we will be held responsible and stand alone for how we treated others and how we either hindered or helped the cause of Christ on Earth.

Just because we have believed something our whole life, or because some denomination or culture taught us so, it doesn't mean it is correct.

The Bible is the final word and authority here. If you have a problem with seeing women in the pulpit, or in any position of leadership, we pray that you will prayerfully seek the Lord with an open heart on this issue.

In conclusion, let us read the following promise from the prophet Joel. This prophesy was initially fulfilled at Pentecost, and as we draw closer to the End, we can expect to see it fulfilled in even greater measures.

Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

18And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

19And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:

20The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:

21And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

In Hebrews 5:12-14 “For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.                                           13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.                                                   14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil”.

This is our great need to discern good from evil, we need to recognize the lies and false programming we been fed over the years. Its time we exchange every lie for Papa God truth for the Bible is the final word.

These are unclean spirits of religion, control with is witchcraft and manipulation and deception, and if you want to be free please pray with along me.

Please repeat after me if you are ready to get rid of this evil spirit that has been holding you down and disturbing your life such a long time.

Papa God, I renounce in my generations all the way back to Adam and I repent and renounce in my life for fellowshipping with any spirits of religion, control and manipulation, and spirits of deception and witchcraft, For either trying to control others or feeling controlled and manipulated by others. I renounce and repent in my life for all involvement with any of these unclean spirit that tried to hinder the work of the Holy Spirit in my life or in my generations on both sides of my family all the way back to Adam.

I repent now, I turn away from all spirits of condemnation and gossip and murmuring; for any and all blame towards You my God, my self, and all others; for spirits of bitterness with all its underlings.

For any offense, rebellion, programming, and a personality of accusation.

For prefabricated personality, by comparing myself to others, and going into  competition and the  replaying of ungodly thoughts.

For Suspicion, judging others, misunderstanding, racism, envy and jealousy.

For any spirits of unworthiness, shame, guilt, feelings of isolation, division making, self-pity, fear, lying and perfectionism.

For all Torment thoughts I allowed in and entertained, I repent of all Luciferian Spirits and I command them all to go now in Jesus name.

I thank you Papa God for your forgiveness and I choose to receive it. I choose to walk in freedom this day In Jesus of Nazareth’s name. Amen

Just receive this now as I pray for you.

In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I take authority over all the works of the enemy and I bind and break its powers. I cancel the assignment of every stinking spirit of religion, control and manipulation, and spirits of deception and witchcraft.

I bind all judgment and criticism, all condemnation, all gossip and murmuring. I bind and break the powers of all spirits that would try and use you that would come against you through the mouths of other people. That would try and speak accusation and criticisms in your life.

It is written, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises against you in judgment you shall condemn for this is the heritage of the servants of the Lord! Their righteousness is of me saith the Lord.”

I take authority over self-accusation where we accuse ourselves, feeling we’ve not done enough, or not done it well enough. I command every stinking evil spirit of religion and control and manipulation, guilt, shame, condemnation, false burden bearing, false responsibility, people pleasing, and drivenness to go right now into the dry place in the all mighty and all powerful name of my Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

I have been given authority to tread upon serpents and scorpions and over all the powers of the enemy and nothing will by any means harm us. The word of God is clear that we have as children of God been given the fruit of the spirit which is love, joy, and peace in the Holy Ghost. And this is what we are willing to walk in from this day forward.  Be released now in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen.
