Frank Hammond was one of the early pioneers of teaching on Deliverance in the Charismatic movement. His book “Pigs in the Parlor” was controversial but it did cause many to consider the issue of deliverance for Christians. Because deliverance is important and life-changing we need to learn all we can about it. It is very […]
Here I interview my good friend Pat Buckley, of Beaverton Full Gospel church, on the subject of depresion, suicidal thoughts, anxiety and the like – and how t
I want to make a bold statement,
Contrary to what the world says, depression is not an illness, depression is a normal human emotion that we all feel at one time or another.
Clinical or major depression on the other hand has a tendency to be seen as an illness, I believe because of the physical sickness it can cause eg. mind fog, short memory, fatigue etc..
Major depression comes when we fall into complete hopelessness, when there is no hope, and that things will never change. Like we keep batting our heads against a wall that never moves, “What’s the point, there is no hope”.

Suddenly I had to come to a dead halt, not knowing that MY “hunger” would be met that afternoon. Leaning onto my elbows on the counter, eyes shut ~ the One being worshipped reached down to touch me: depositing into me the only way to feed my longing to know Him more intimately.

Teaching on Accusing Spirits
Pastor Caspar McCloud – Upper Room 2009
When I was at church yesterday
evening, a word came from the Lord through the pastor’s wife that He

hear the voice of God. If you want direction from the Lord in any
area of your life, get into praise. This puts you in such a place in
God where you can hear His voice clearer.

Mat 15:23 But He answered her not a word.
