My name is Michael, I’m 17 years old and I live in North Carolina. On the night of Monday, October 30, i had an amazing sign from God. I had just recently had a big argument with my step-dad and the only way I could think of releasing my anger was to step outside and think it off.

Before Deliverance
For most of my life I have been very confused and did not know who I was, what I was and where I belonged. I was so hopeless to the point of suicide at times even after becoming a Christian. I always thought every one disliked me, was out to get me or didn’t care about me.
I was an atheist, brought up in a “haunted house” filled with fear. I was reared with an alcoholic mother, a very distant angry father, and an alcoholic grandfather. A blind grandmother and a neurotic great aunt aided in rounding out this dysfunctional family along with a twin sister and other siblings at least 12 years our senior.
Anders got a second chance.
When Anders Myrli from Sweden/Gävle grew up, his father was on constant flight from the police. Anders went into deep depression and after awhile dropped out of upper secondary school. Then alcohol became his best friend and finally he was stuck in an addiction. During an attempt of burglary he realized that his life was a failure and therefore he decided to end it.
When Anders Myrli was in upper secondary school he went into deep depression. He dropped out of school, left his congregation and started to drink huge amounts of alcohol.

I have found something in the public domain so inspiring that I have posted it on this blog. As a young man from a wealthy family in the Punjab, Sadhu Sundar Singh was desperate for peace – something he could not find through his own prayers and devotions through following the teachings in his own Sikh holy book, The Granth, or in the Hindu vedas or even in the Qu’ran – though he knew much of these by heart. He hated and despised Christianity and even burned a Bible at school, considering it a religion of foreigners. He was most unhappy because the true knowledge of God eluded him.
