Things to Meditate Deeply Upon

I am commanded by God to be continually filled with the Holy Spirit.(Ephesians 5:18)

I reckon I’m really dead to sin. (Romans 6:11)

Christ lives in me. (Galatians 2:20)

I am the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)

My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in me, whom I have from God. (1 Corinthians 6:19)

I am an ambassador for Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:20)

I overcome the devil by the blood of the Lamb, and by the Word of my testimony, and I do not love my life to the death.

God’s Standards vs Man’s Standards

Getting Ready for Eternal Judgment

There is coming a day soon when I will give an account of my life to Jesus Christ. This day is coming for you also. Paul, writing to believers in Rome, said,

“So then each of us shall give account of himself to God”.

Other Religious Options

Many Ways to God or Many Errors in the Name of Religion?

Many people in the west believe “there is something out there” while others affirm with conviction that they know there is no God.

Eastern religions teach that “everything” is God and through meditation we can come to realise our inherent divinity. Those in the Judaeo-Christian traditions believe that the creation is not part of God at all.

Demon Influence in Culture

“We know that we are in God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.”
(1 John 5:20)

Keys to Overcoming Sin

A major part of spiritual warfare is resisting the devil’s enticement’s to compromise on God’s principles. We give the powers of darkness a definite advantage when we do anything that actually compromises the intimacy of our fellowship with God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit. Worldliness is anything attitude or occupation that makes your heart just a little colder towards the Lord.

Objections Answered to Deliverance Ministries

Clearing Up Some Misconceptions

First of all, its important to say that the position that a Christian can have a demon in them IS NOT the same as saying a Christian can be possessed by a demon or an unclean spirit. The word “possession” implies ownership. We belong to Jesus, we have been bought with a price, and therefore, no one should be arguing that a Christian can be possessed by demons.

Secondly, the Greek Word “daimonizomai” has been incorrectly translated with the word “possessed” in many Bibles.

Joshua 1:8

“This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8)

Confession:
The Word of God shall not depart from my mouth.
I shall meditate on the Word of God day and night.
Meditating on the Word of God will enable me to do the word of God.
My way shall thus be made prosperous.
I shall have good success.

Prayer:

Prayer – Section II

1. To pray does not imply that without prayer God would not give us anything or that He would be unaware of our needs, but it has this great advantage, that in the attitude of prayer the soul is best fitted to receive the Giver of blessing as well as those blessings He desires to bestow. Thus it was that the fullness of the Spirit was not poured out upon the Apostles on the first day, but after ten days of special preparation.

If a blessing were conferred upon one without a special readiness for it, he would neither value it sufficiently nor long retain it.
