SINNER'S PRAYER FOR SALVATION

"Dear Heavenly Father, I come to You in the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ. I come a sinner and I now renounce all of my sins. I confess the sins of ……….. (name those sins) and I utterly renounce those sins in the name of Jesus Christ. I absolutely turn from them. I especially renounce any involvement in the occult (if you or your parents or ancestors have been in Freemasonry or Druids Lodge you should especially renounce that involvement). I renounce all the works of the devil.

A real Christian would naturally be very interested in revival and awakening. In recent years, certain streams have begun in the Body of Christ which have had considerable influence in a short time. One thing is clear, intelligence alone is no defense against deception – no matter who is right. My personal view is that we should major on majors, and minor on minors.

God the Father sent Jesus into the world for a reason. The Bible says in 1 John 3:8, “For this purpose was the Son of God manifest, to destroy the works of the evil one.” Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. One demon sensed this when he cried out through a man in the synagogue, “Have you come to destroy us?” (Mark 1).

In order to overcome the devil’s works, Jesus needed to overcome severe temptation. This he did firstly in the wilderness at the end of his 40 day fast. He did it by saying, “It is written” and following it up with a quotation from God’s Word.

Knowing God is an amazing thing. I’d like to help you to know Him.

If God has touched your heart through this site and you would like to get serious with God, it could be the beginning of something wonderful. I urge to consider deeply the fact that there is a God. He has revealed Himself in so many ways. His Holy Spirit calls you today. God is awesome, holy, and powerful – yet He loves you deeply. The stories on this site are part of a witness to you that God is real. If you are not really convinced, I urge you to read more from this site first, and maybe even write and ask questions.

It is really important to God that YOU inherit a blessing! Its not something to be ashamed of or to apologize for. On the contrary, it is central to God’s purpose for your life! The Scriptures declare it, and so when you as one of God’s people are blessed, then God Himself is glorified.

God wants you to be blessed, even in ways you have never known before. We can get more of an idea of God’s purpose when we consider one of the main reasons Jesus died on the cross and suffered for us.

In the evangelical/pentecostal churches there are actually two different versions of gospel being presented by people who would claim they take the Word of God as their authority in faith and practice. I want to draw your attention to the fundamental issue in question here, because it has to do with your ETERNAL SALVATION.
