Song – Whoever Desires to Come After Me

These are the solemn words of Jesus from Mark 8:34-37 concerning the requirement of self-denial and commitment from all who wish to know the fullness of God’s salvation.

This version of the song was professionally sung.

Here is the version I did orginally.

Whoever desires to come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me (x2)

For whoever desires to save his life will lose it (x2)

But whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will find it.

For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and yet, and yet loses his own soul?

Or what will a man give in exchange, give in exchange for his soul?
