Mind troubles from the wind

People are easily guided down the wrong path all around me. Men and women teach themselves for the truth the idol gods of Egypt, Greece, Rome, Persia, India, and other places. They are too familiar with the materialistic mammon based life-style. There is great division among those who I am supposed to call brethren. I am told I must look for a mate, and I need one; Why can’t I just be a eunuch for God? Drugs and drug users are all around me, and ignorance is listened to more than wisdom among the people. God hates astrology yet the world loves it. All these are a number of the problems I am faced with. Do I stand alone in all this, if so, I ask that someone here will consider my pain and understand me for me? I also ask that someone if not everyone who reads this will pray for me?

What do YOU think?

    Hey Wind,
I think I’ve discovered it’s a fools game played against the sincere, transparent and open people of this world. A game where the perverse pleasure is gained buy exploiting peoples weaknesses and then taunting them like a helpless animal with a stick. Played by people who’s faces shine, but they have no soul. These people deliver repeated disappointment in place of purported hope. They play both sides of any given situation for ‘their own’ strategic advantage while leaving their fool “Isolated in the Dark” with no idea of whats going on. There’s never a care or concern that peoples hearts and souls suffer the collateral damage. They build hopes to be dashed and destroyed. A game to play over and over until the prey is weary, exhausted and finally expended and left for dead. Do you ever wonder if it’s worth it? When is enough-enough, when is it just too much? What has this world come to and what have supposed friends and allies…the ‘good guy’ turned into? I don’t know.

Oh, well….tomorrow is a new day.

I think I’ll go get hit with a stick one more time…
after all…Time Is On MY Side.

  2. Don’t give up hope. That God Given spouse is there. Waiting for you.

You should pray for your future spouse.

When I between the ages of 7 – 19, I used to pray for my future wife. I had no idea where she was of course. But I prayed that God would keep her safe and sound and in good spiritual health.

    God answered my prayer.

Tip: Go where your target market is…. Get involved.

great post really telling what you need and how you feel

can i say that if its not a problem to you stay single

for a while and you can always keep your eyes open to a partner ( be careful though)

a bad partner is really a thorn in your side

guard your heart against all forms of disappointment by keeping your hopes focused

hope not happening makes the heart sick Pro 13:12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but [when] the desire cometh, [it is] a tree of life.

make shure your HOPES are your HOPES KILL any old HOPE by not hoping i it any more (only if its not important to you any more)

Pro 10:28 The hope of the righteous [shall be] gladness: but the expectation of the wicked shall perish.

can you live away from the drug ppl?

if you can its a great idea as this is a danger for you

Pro 13:20 He that walketh with wise [men] shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.

if you want specific prayer we can do that for you

  4. Hello,

The brethren will be brethren, confused and overflowing with advice (for all but self). This is a gift for it allows us to be that lamp for them and the salt for their food (not too salty- and if possible organic!)

When we have got this right- then our lamp will cast a sure light to the grime round about!

    God bless you!

These are issues we all face. The world is at enmity with God. I have been reading about the origin of the world religions. It is interesting that they all have the same themes and characters, only the names have been changed and the story lines altered just a little. It all stems from after the flood when Nimrod began to be a mighty one. He gathered the people in cities and provided protection from the wild animals that were abounding (recall God bringing the children of Israel into the promised land bit by bit so they would not be overrun by wild beasts). Nimrod set himself up as God, and his wife Semiramis set herself up as a Goddess, the Queen of Heaven, also spoken of in scripture.

When God confounded the languages, Nimrod and Semiramis’ names were changed according to the languages of those being scattered. Egypt, Greece, Rome, Babylon, India, all have the same gods with different names. The world then rebelled against the God of Noah that Shem taught. Nimrod was judged by Shem who lived over 500 years after the flood. The violent judgement on Nimrod for his apostacy became the legends of Tammuz and other gods and a period of weeping (which coincides quite nicely with Lent and Easter by the way). Semiramis had a son after the death of Nimrod, who was named after his father and claimed to be the reincarnation of Nimrod. The celebrations for this coincide on the calendar and in tradition with Christmas. Jer. 10 is a good place to read… Jer 10:1 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
Jer 10:3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
Jer 10:4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
Jer 10:5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

Some take the latter part to say the keeping of these customs is harmless. God says do not be afraid of them. He does not say “go ahead and do them.” He says the opposite in Deut. 12:28 Deu 12:29 When the LORD thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest to possess them, and thou succeedest them, and dwellest in their land; Take heed to thyself that thou be not snared by following them, after that they be destroyed from before thee; and that thou enquire not after their gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
Deu 12:31 Thou shalt not do so unto the LORD thy God: for every abomination to the LORD, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
Deu 12:32 What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

All this is to say sister that your struggle is pretty universal. The pressure to marry also comes in different forms in different societies. Be strong and of good courage. The Lord loves you and will strengthen you to do all He has called you to do. Do not be condemned in your heart because you are tempted, but realize temptation is not sin, it is merely the invitation to sin. Resist the devil and he will flee from you, after you have drawn near to God and He has drawn near to you!

    Blessings and Peace,

Stay strong sister. I will be praying for you. You see what is going on in the world. And I can tell you from experience-you do NOT want to risk that path.

    God bless and keep you!
