  1. Saints , this will really test your faith !!!

Medical errors: When boxing champ Evander Holyfield was supposedly healed of a noncompliant left ventricle at a Benny Hinn crusade, Hinn labeled it a miracle. Later, it was discovered that the cardiologist had misdiagnosed the problem, because he was not informed of the whopping amounts of morphine and fluid Holyfield had received post-fight, which made it appear as if his heart were malfunctioning. As reported in The Atlanta Journal and Constitution, Holyfield later admitted, “I don’t think there was anything wrong with my heart to begin with.”

      Hi Vikas,

No the story has absolutely no bearing to my faith. It does not matter whose story is right. All that matters is that surely he has borne our diseases and carried our pains. And yes I can be sure about that as I am currently believing Jesus for a miracle. My faith has nothing to do with Benny Hinn or with Evander Holyfield. Being a ministry gift like Benny or a great boxer like Evander does not necessarily make them great role models for the Christian faith. Ministry gifts do sin or miss the mark from time to time just like any other Christian. I think we need to take our eyes off celebrity Christians and focus only on the Lord Jesus. Jesus is our only star, the bright and morning star. Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. He is the only one that perfects our faith. Yes God places people with gifts of healing and healing anointing in the church to bless the body of Christ, however our faith should be based in God and not in man. God’s word is proof that he still heals(Jesus Christ same yesterday, today and forever) and there are thousands of people that have been healed, the testimonies on this website are just a drop in the ocean to the amount of healings that have taken place all over the world.

It is good to honour people but sometimes we over do it.

You know, something I would love to do with some people, like this doctor, is ask them where evil and unclean spirits come into the picture. They’re everywhere back in Jesus/Apostles’ day, where are they now? You see asking a carnal Christian about things like miracles, devils, or anything supernatural is like asking an unbeliever. There is no knowledge an unbeliever could possibly have that can have any effect on my faith.

Just today in church we were having a study on Jesus the King….

He is not only the returning King but He is to be our King today and every day of our life..

The word kingdom is derived from the word king and is a area ruled by a king….There have been many kings here on earth with kingdoms but all these kingdoms have perished or will fade away but the kingdom of God is eternal and will never perish or fade away…

here is a link to a excellant youtube video on He’s My King:

  3. Yes Tim that answers my question thank you for the reply

  4. Timothy Luke says:

Ciara, if you look at the end of the book of Revelation in the last two chapters, you will read of Jesus coming to earth as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. All throughout the Bible, prophecies show Jesus coming as a ruling King over all the earth. Satan will be bound a thousand years, released and then vanquished for eternity and the Kingdom of Jesus will grow and expand forever.

The Bible tells us to seek first the Kingdom of God AND His righteousness. The context of that quote is Matthew 6:33 where Jesus is telling us not to worry about the cares of this limited physical life, but to focus on gaining eternal life. When we have an eternal perspective, it greatly helps us get through the daily challenges, which no matter how big, are small compared to eternity with our Lord in a kingdom where there are no more tears, nor sorrow.

Blessings to you. Does this answer your question?
