Witchcraft
I am a born again Christian who also fell quite a few times and God was able to pick me up (He is faithful). I am used by God in prophesy and gifts of help, I believe in the Holy Spirit and He dwells within me. Satan has been attacking me by using others in the occult. I have actually seen snakes floating, and have heard the voices and still do hear those voices at times, and have been attacked in other ways, (this was a surprised attack and a real one; wasn't looking for this and was not into any thing like this and was in so much fear at first).
I repented to God (my father) on anything that I had done to draw this to me and took authority over generational curses and the occult (dispatched against me in any shape or form) and continue to battle this every day and I know that my God is in control over my life. You see satan likes to lie, deceive and manipulate, yet he presents himself to our God and our God lets him know what he can and can not do. I take authority over these wicked spirits in the name of Jesus Christ and His precious Blood. The Word of God is my final authority and nothing else. I don't fear because God did not give me a spirit of fear but of power of love and a sound mind; God's Word says He drives diviners mad and brings the tokens of liars to nothing. I speak peace in my life and the life of my daughter and around us and lift those who practice in this to the Lord; have an active prayer life and read my Word (I love my Bible - God's word).
Fear is the most powerful weapon that satan can try to use against us, but once that fear is overcome through Jesus Christ, its over, no matter what.
We must use the Word of God, read scriptures that proclaim who we are in Christ and what we have in Christ (trust). When you have those times that are not so good continue to praise God, our Father and call on the name of Jesus.
Be encouraged, we are going to have spiritual battles and we must discern the times that we're living in. We must stop giving satan the headlines and give our God the Honor and the Glory since our life is in His hands and our Destiny (know this).

Hello, my wife and I are going through a terrible time of spiritual attack. She is a good woman and a christian. She is also suffering from severe PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). She was the first Christian in her family at 7. Her background was Jewish and her mother was a practicing witch. We have fought off attacks since the day we met. Recently we moved in across from a woman who claims to be Christian, have spirit guides and practices white magic. I told her many times to keep the magic and un-Christian spirituality out of our home. At one point I chased a friend of hers from my wife when it appeared they were going to physically attack her. Since then our relationship got rocky and one night, in a matter of seconds, we went from talking about being soul mates to divorce. I woke up the next day and my wife insisted I had attacked her. That never happened. I though she was trying to just get an edge in a divorce. I wanted to make up in the morning. We have been apart since and I can not speak to her. She became friends with this woman again. I believe I was attacked by demons after that. They taunted me verbally. I sent a message to an online psychic who says she is a Christian. She told me we were being attacked with black magic and witchcraft, not to mention demonic attack. I admit I have been so upside down in the whole thing I broke down and asked for a spell to be cast to help. I was told now I need a spiritual cleansing and I may still loose my wife. I have opened up a can of worms and I now know after much prayer I am back on the right track, but how do I deal with the mess that is already there? Is there a cleansing I need to do, a type of blessing? Can I please get some help through prayer from my fellow Christians. What can I do to deal with this heavy spiritual ware fare?
I fear mostly for my wife. I think she may have the added weight of a generational curse from her mother's witchcraft. How can I help expel the demons from her home? Given the circumstance, there is no remedy through words (conversations and pleadings)- this is so always but especially now.
Your instincts will drive you to engage, my advice is that you desist- that you disengage. You need to examine and weigh up your walk in Christ. Is Christ truly Lord guiding you in all matters? Is your primary concern to promote the interests of Jesus' Kingdom? Do you actively fellowship, rather than pew sit?
Your first focus must be spiritual housekeeping for yourself.
Take an account of where you are in the Lord and if you have it in yourself to do so- lay down what is not good and dedicate each sickly part to the Lord. If you don't, there is no securing God's Power in this or any matter.
The world about you is under darkness, the power of Satan (Acts 26: 17, 18) If we walk in the world, then we fall under the same power. So, having taken account, discard what is not of God.

I was so weak when this began. I tried to keep the occult out of our home. My wife had a friend she did not want to offend. I was so warn down after the assault that I thought I had little choice. I know that was wrong. I don't know if we will get back together although I pray with all my heart we do, but I know I can't and wont do it without God. It is killing me, all I hear are bad things about her right now. I can't talk to her and she claims she is afraid of me anyway. Pray for us. She is my best friend. I waited till I was 30 to take a woman serious. I did not give in to temptation of casual sex or anything aside from some alcohol. I still will not give in. I found my soul mate and once you have had that everything else is unappealing. I also believe what it says in the bible about divorce. I know we can work things out. People tell me I have to look out for myself, but when you make that commitment there are few reasons for breaking it. Not to mention again, she's my best friend. With her and God on my side I can do anything. I also don't want to leave her to the wolves. Keep us in your prayers. I will not make the same mistake again. I love my Lord and my Marcelene.

Dear Bob, I will be praying for you brother and for your marriage and wife. I felt compelled to reply to this thread. I also have PTSD and I have generational witchcraft in my family as well as Luciferian worship through Freemasonry. My PTSD is so bad that I also have dissociation and amnesia with only fragmented memories of the ages 1-8 when my mother was killed in a car wreck in 1979. On that day, at the age of 8, I remember something literally coming over me and becoming a different person. I have not been diagnosed with DID/MPD.
I have been saved since I was a teenager, but have always had a strong calling and ability in the occult. Major guilt as well, but none the less. I am not sure why your wife has PTSD, but I can tell you that experts in the field now know, and this is hard to believe, but it is directly related to the occult and the occurence of PTSD and PTSD with dissociation, which I do not know if she has, but it sounded as if her affect (mood/personality) changed drastically-but not in a weird way that would make you think "my wife is possesed or has DID", formerly known as MPD. Google DID/MPD and monarch. It is directly related to the fragmentation of the spirit and demonic attachment of parts of dissociated pieces of the personality that was present during the traumatic event that caused the PTSD.
I am 37 and I just started learning about this. The breakdown of ones core personality (where a person starts to act odd and out of character is between the ages of 28-31) and memory recall between 35-50. The Nazi's who practiced occult/Luciferian worship started it by traumatizing Jewish children. She may need deliverance (Svali, Fritzmeir and Cisco all experts and programmers or ex Luciferians even admit therapists can't help unless they agree to use The Holy Spirit and The Blood of Jesus in therapy), and she may very well be influenced right now by witchcraft that has been programmed in one of the demonic fragments. You do not have to be in a mind control program or unsaved to dissociate, that happens during PTSD.

I responded to prayer request by the Spirit- so know that there is hope and that the Spirit is speaking to you directly. It is easy to address the cry of pain with words of Truth but the Lord's word propelled by the Spirit is an arrow which always finds its mark!
The Spirit is the Bow which directs the arrow of His Word and know that this message is the Lord's directed arrow for you.
Bob I praise God that in times past I have experienced the full gamut of spirit, soul and body ache. Sometimes persecuted for Christ, sometimes through falling and sin but in all these things, I have been restored with peace, joy and the power of his blessed Holy Spirit.
I too have loved to the point of pain. Many years back I found myself in love with a beautiful woman who returned my love and that doubly. There were tensions yet all that was required to expel these was a simple and sincere apology: "Miriam- I am sorry" and she would light up like a full moon and it was as if the problem had never existed.
One day, the Spirit told me- Peer, you must leave this relationship for it will end in disaster for both you and Miriam. What was I to do? I possessed that for which every man would give his right hand, yet the Lord had spoken. Needless to say, I persisted in my course and soon waves of troubled engulfed us. The secret formula "Miriam I am sorry" worked as before but I knew that these new troubles were harbingers of a soon to come storm. The Spirit continuously pressed me with, "get off this ship, it is vital for both of you".
There was a point (fortunately before the storm arrived) where I determined to put obedience over pain and I prayed a very hard prayer- which seemed like digging for a water well in the midst of a desert.
I prayed to the Lord to enable me to fulfill His will praying so. "Lord my soul is hurting, every part of me rejects renouncing this relationship but the Spirit is pressing me and I will do what is required. I have not put your first but I do so now- let this be a sign to you that you are most important"
So I ended the relationship and declined all further contact. Two years later, there was an urgent impulse that I should call Miriam and did so. On phoning her, she was besides herself with joy and passed on that within two hours she was to be married! I was shocked but immediately filled with peace and joy for her and warmly sent her on her way! Can you believe the Lord's ways?
Yet those two years where I remained in my place was a period of deep mourning where each day was faced as an abyss of solitariness and pain.

To do this, you need to back off from your wife. If you have to contact her, keep this as simple messages of support. You must believe me that this is vital. Pray to the Lord that He substitutes His Peace for your sorrow that you may be directed by His Spirit rather than the urgency of your soul.
This is an opportunity to enter into the rest of your life; a life where the Lord is given first place. We can talk about giving the Lord first place in such a way: "Lord I give you first place if you do this or that for me" OR we can pray so, "Lord I give you first place, irrespective of your will for wife and self. I will seek what you have for me and walk in what I know- leaving the rest to you!"
If you do this, be assured that the Lord will take you to the very best place in all areas including the love of a soul mate.
Show obedience and you will be denying Satan his handle and with this the power of God is able to be released into your life.

I practiced Witchcraft for over 5 years before I was saved and filled with the Holy Ghost. I can tell you the best thing you can do is form a friendship but be weary of participating in events they hold, invite them to church events etc. After you have established friendships invite them over for a friendly bible study in which they discuss their beliefs and you yours. Make sure everything is straight from the bible and you are able to quote scripture. I would stick to salvation etc.
Regarding deliverance, only the Lord can deliver. Remember, many are called and few are choosen. The best thing you can do is be a friend to them, give them bible studies and if they begin to be open, bring them to your services and pray for them etc, and let the Lord work.
This is what worked for me, being in Witchcraft for over 5 years. The Lords love casts out all fear.

Hi Chad, I just read your comment and it intrigued me because I'm having problems with witchcraft. Prior to this I only heard about it, never thought it would affect me in any way. I have been seeing my bf (his name is Athar, he lives in a different city due to work) for 12 years, things started going bad between us... but i did not take it seriously till dec 2008 when I realized that something was really wrong because his heart seemed to be made of stone. But, I'm so lost, I have been told to continue praying and he will come back. Please pray for me and help me. You said you had been practicing witchcraft, please tell me ways I can counter this witchcraft on my boyfriend and make it powerless against him and me. Gratia, witchcraft is a controlling spirit. Regrettably (really thankfully) you cannot control your boyfriend's choices. If you could MAKE him love you, he would not really love you, because love is something we give from our own hearts by our own will. You have to release him to God and release him in your heart if he chooses to leave for whatever reason.
A pastor who speaks of your 'past life' is not very informed on Christianity and the Creator who he is representing to you. Perhaps you are saying he told you what you had done earlier in your life?
You cannot use witchcraft to counter witchcraft as a Christian. We either operate in the power of God - which flows according to His will, not ours, and God is a God of free choice, or we operate in the devil's power and this board is not for that purpose.

Something Strange is Going On in my house!!!
Dear Family of Believers in Christ Jesus. Im in one of the strangest battles ever that cannot be explained, to me, that is. You see, I was called out and saved from going in the wrong direction in my life some years ago, thanks be to God, and Im sure you all know what that is, a life of drugs and alcohol, ets.... I was saved when I was living with my boyfriend for 12 years and the last six months of our relationship we got married and all of a sudden my then husband lost his life. I didn't believe my then husband accepted my beliefs in Christ at the time and rejected Christ as his Lord and Savior and everything I talked about to him. I still prayed for him. Anyhow, after his death, I remarried two years later, thanks be to God, to a Christian man and I believed getting married to a Christian man would solve a lot of my problems, the loneliness, seeking to be in fellowship with the closeness of a godly husband. But things did not go the way I thought. We've had our struggles, bad ones, financial ones, outside family ones. and on and on they went. Now we are both very very unhappy christian people. My children look at us and don't understand. We, I don't understand what happened. I believed when my husband quit going to church was the beginning of his and mine. I knew that being united to each other and united to Christ would have its problems but when you stop believing and things get rough, you still need to endure as we have been doing. We seem sorry as ever to have gotten married. And here we are, cannot go back and change things. We are on the very edge of the D word and I know in my heart that is displeasing to God. So I ask for your help and your prayers for my family. I desire to fight for my family but at times I want to give up. It seems so easy to give up and I hate the thought of it. In a lot of ways your story is all too common, though the details are always unique. The devil has a way of doing a 'time released curse.' There are sins of our fathers that get passed on in the spirit realm. Do either one, or both of you, have families that you came from that showed this same tendency?
With God ALL things are possible my sister. There is a way to be healed in this, whether your husband chooses to follow or not. Am I correct from your post that he no longer attends church? Has he renounced Christ and gone after the world? Is he just too discouraged to put on a false front in front of the church?
If you like I can discuss this via email and help you in your walk. Marriage is a commitment that takes all we have, and it seems you are both just about to that point. I believe you both can turn this thing around and have the wonderful marriage you both signed up for - but it has to be done God's way. Re. Deliverance and Spiritual Warfare
Just wondering if anyone can help...but I'm still not sure about deliverance/warfare. When conducting auto-deliverance/spiritual warfare, is it OK/acceptable/Biblical to directly address powers/principalities with a reminder of where the Believer stands in Christ, ie that they have been saved, blood-bought and so on? i am very weak and need advice and strenght please. i desire to do Gods will, yet i do what my flesh desires. i heard the voice of the Lord speaking from inside my head,(gentle and soft with so much love,) nearly two years ago when i was doing my dishes all alone at home. i hate smoking as i know my body is the HOly temple and i was an honour to hear His voice talking to me. help. today i wanted to fast, but then had a disagreement at work with a college and then i bought a single sigarette and ate afterwards. heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp please as i sincerely want to do what God requires in every way. its seems i am weak in putting an end to my human desires. may you be blessed in all you do. have a blessed day

Oh Lindy, Do I have a testimony for you! Years ago I too struggled with smoking, but I'm here to tell you HE has "All the power you need".
I was a smoker, and a brand new christian. Well I so wanted to quit but just couldn't, so what I did was put my cigs in the car so I would only smoke when I was in the car. everytime I lit up I would start praying, (my friends always laugh when I tell them)and I would admit my weakness and ask for forgiveness and express my desire to quit all while I was puffing away, I would admit that I am but flesh and bone and that without him I am nothing, but through him all things are possible. I did this for about four months straight. And one day we were leaving for church(my husband and I) and he reached into his cabinet and pulled out a pack of cigarettes and asked me "you need a pack?" Well he said I gave him the dirtiest look and replied, "I don't smoke!"
And I havent smoked since. and that was over 12 years ago! So you see even in the midst of my sin, I knew and believed that I had to only ask, alot of people have the misconception that because they are sinning that they dont have the right to approach GOD and ask for his healing or his grace. But thats what makes him so Awesome His infinite Love and mercy and grace. And remember in his time, not ours. I hope this helps

I encourage you not to believe the voices telling you, you are going to die. Satan wants you to agree with him. He is speaking his thoughts into your mind and you are agreeing with them. You are to pull down the strongholds in your mind by taking them captive and making them obedient to Christ (2cor 10:4-5). This is where discernment of spirits (heb 5:14) is so necessary. You are in a battle and I pray God brings seasoned people who know deliverance and the way the enemy works to you.
When satan says 'you are dying', you need to declare 'I will not die but live and declare the works of the Lord' (ps 118:17). You have mental strongholds. Demonic strongholds dwell within our soul (mind, will and emotions) as well as our body which manifests as sickness.
In my case where I have needed deliverance, it has not been an overnight process but a progressive work of the Lord. He doesn't only want to deliver us but do a deep work in us where we draw near to Him, draw near to the Word of God and grow up spiritually. It is necessary to learn how the enemy works. This takes time. The holy spirit will lead and guide you into all truth (jn 16:13).
My prayer for you is that you will rise up and out of bondage. God won't do it for us. We need to work with Him and learn to use the spiritual weapons He has given us. He wants you to walk in the authority He has given you. He said " I give YOU authority to overcome all the power of the enemy and nothing shall by any means harm you' (luke 10:19). Take God at His Word. Read verses such as Isaiah 61 and grow in your faith as you hear the Word of God (rom 10:17). God is sovereign. The timing of your deliverance is in His hands. Just begin to get up and claim your rights as a child of God. Don't be robbed of your blessings to be healed and delivered. Don't ever give up.
In need of deliverance
I am convinced that I need deliverance in my life and also that I will need a period away from my relatives to get closer to the lord, I wonder if anyone here knows where can I find someone that can identify evil spirits and who can make a deliverance to cleanse the mind. Not meaning our Lord can't but all the clues I have is that I have to have some time away from home and a promise that I will somehow get to know the lord better than ever, and seemingly there are some bad spirits due to disobedience in some key commandments and I need help. first of all I am so sorry if no one has told you truth. that people have allowed you to feel like a bad person. your not, what you are experianceing is called being human. it's are human nature to backslide and rebel against what we know ir truth and right. believe God when he says he knows you. he created you. he knows every stragth and every weekness. he exspects us to mess up and get in the way of our relationship with him. he loves just the same and nothing we do( with the exception of blasfeeming the Holy Spirit) is going to change that. is witchcraft real, the relm of evil is yes. however when the Holy Spirit dwels in you evil has no controll or power over you. God gave us the power to overcome that witch seeks to destroy. he never promesed that we would never sin again once we accepted the gift of Jesus' blood. as a matter of fact to garateed trials and tough times and continual forgivness when we ask. i encourage you to read the whole new testiment from matthew-revelations. don't skip one word allow your eyes to see the truth, your ears to hear the truth, your mind to know the truth, your heart to feel the truth and you life( to the best of your ability) to show the truth. NEVER EVER take someone elses word or opion and gospal truth only the Bible. Remember God is big enough to handle your flaws(we all have them) only Christ was perfect in flesh. stay encouraged and hold on to God with every last bit of yourself, he's doing it for you. Please pray for me (Janet) I have been dealing with a skin disease called Vitiligo, I come across a reading saying that the root of most skin diseases are fear, anxiety, stress, anger, etc, etc, someone once prayed for me and told me the skin disease was a generational curse thru my fathers side of the family and I belive it because a member of my fathers family has the same skin problem, HOW can I break this curse? once you received Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, you have the power and authority to rebuke and command any infirmities ( skin diseases) from your body.Pray and command the skin disease to depart from your skin. Dont stop praying until it goes away. This is one works of the devil and the devil is stubborn and you need to keep on rebuking it. i dont really know how to say this without sounding crazy. but, here i go. i am under some type of influence/curse of a relative. its been this way for many years. nothing goes right. i backslide and now im struggling to get backto god, but its so hard. my health is under attack, i cant stop eating. is there anyone out there who has overcome this?

The good news is that you can be free from any curse because of the blood of Jesus, shed for you.
Sometimes we need to enforce the rights of God over our lives but if our hearts are not fully His, there remains some room for the devil to claim a foothold.

I don't know what the heck the other person meant by the heresy of the meetings thier going to about giving sacrifices to God. This sounds like a money making meeting not a Bible Believing Spirit filled meeting. JESUS CHRIST WAS OUR SACRIFICE AND THERE IS NO OTHER SACRIFICE THAT WILL EVER PLEASE GOD. Jay, get a copy of the book "Prepare for War" by Rebecca Brown MD, for starters it would help. I also know what it is like to have intense feelings of rejection on my life. Ask Him(Jesus) to remove the spirit of rejection from your life. It was only recently after a delivence service I attended that I don't have those feelings anymore. I can honestly say to you that rejection is a spirit and need to be dwelt with accordingly. Your mother too would need deliverence. God is more than able to bring help to those who call upon His name. Again I encourage you Jay to get the book and read it throughly

this is what I learned a day ago at a prophetic conference in Dallas. we were taught that the only way to fight the power of principality was by sacrife to God. Sacrifice can be in form of money or what God leads you. In the olden times, they sacrificed animals with no blemish. So, whatever God leads you, give a sacrife to God. That way, the power that is going on in your family is going to be defeated in Jesus name. And remember that you need to be a warrior now, when you've agreed with God, be on guard. Stand on the word of God, don't let anything weaken your faith. Keep believing on God's report on deliverance. The devil might try to bring up stuff but fight him with a sacrife to God.
