Prayer for Deliverance
Jesus, I come to you as my deliverer. I believe that You are the Son of God, that You died for me and rose again. I confess You as Lord and renounce all influences of Satan in my life. Lord, you know the demons that oppress me, that harrass me, that entice me, that enslave me. I confess all my sins to you. (You must name them out loud before God). I repent of (turn away from) all my sins. I renounce any form of the occult or idolatry in my life or in the life of my ancestors (Name them to the extent of your knowledge of it). I forgive anyone who has ever hurt me in any way and I let go of any bitterness or resentment. (Name any such people whom you associate with personal pain and forgive them by name). I believe I am saved by the blood of Jesus and Satan has no further legal rights to my spirit, soul, mind or body. Through the blood of Jesus I am justified, just as if I never sinned. Through the blood of Jesus I am sanctified, set apart to God. Through the blood of Jesus, I am redeemed out of the hand of the devil.
Jesus you said whoever calls upon the name of the Lord SHALL be delivered. I call upon you. Deliver me!
Now in the name of Jesus Christ I bind every evil spirit in or around my life. In the name of Jesus I command you to get out and leave me alone. Go in Jesus' name!
(Now co-operate with the Holy Spirit. It may help to breathe out. After expelling breath a few times, the enemy will begin to manifest and he will be forced to leave. Use your will to force him out in Jesus' name. Then praise God for the results and get filled with the Holy Spirit).

Perusing this website has
Perusing this website has really been a blessing to me. I actually have the site open during work and take a quick peep every so often when I have time to take a read. Your comments have all been such a blessing and an encouragement for a new Christian such as myself. I feel my complete salvation drawing nearer and nearer but there are some habits and addictions that I have brought from my life prior to baptism into this new state that I cannot seem to get rid of. I have tried and prayed and struggled. These habits usually act up mostly when I am around old non-Christian friends but I don't have much Christian friends. The Church I attend has very few people reaching out to welcome - and become friendly. I am so much affected by this that quite often I have little encouragement to go to Church but I do love the Lord with all my heart and want to walk in God's annointing always. I was muslim before and both my husband (in Islam) and myself have accepted Christ as our Lord and Saviour and the blessings are being manifested in our lives daily. Other than him, there isn't anyone else really that is enthusiased about God as much as I am or willing to share a word with me. This is so discouraging and I hope I can get through this and hopefully can become part of a Christ-based social group soon. I ask that you please remember me in your prayers as the Spirit keeps telling me that God has something big he wants me to do for his kingdom and I need to stick it out and hold on until he thinks I am ready. But will I ever be ready to do God's work.......

Prayer agreement request!
I am so blessed to have found this christian site! :)
I would like someone to agree with me just so I can have a partner in a prayer that I have already prayed and asked of God in Jesus' name. I know that the Bible says that if two agree as touching ANYTHING on earth, it shall be done for them so... I just would like an extra person to agree with me.
I am believing for a "NEW" FULL-TIME ACCOUNT at my current employer where I work because I am possibly about to have my current account changed to something that I KNOW THAT I WILL NOT DO/ACCEPT and it is all messed up like having to work 1st shift for 4 hours and then having to possibly be cut 4 hours and I cannot afford to only work part-time, I MEAN MY LIFE DEPENDS ON IT!!! So I am believing for a brand new account, close to home, just like marketplace... and God knows the rest. And please pray for me that my faith doesn't waiver because If I lose my job, I don't think that I will be getting unemployment and then I don't know anything else to do but take my life and I KNOW THAT GOD doesn't want that. Our life is in Jesus' hands and we depend upon him. We cannot serve God and mammon. If we serve mammon, we become dependent upon it, rather than God. The desperation for the circumstance to be as you say it must be is rooted in fear and not faith. "If God clothes the grass of the field and feeds the birds of the air, how much more will he take care of you, of you of little faith." "Take no thought for tomorrow, for sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof."

I want the best for you. Right now you are distressed and there is no way on earth that killing oneself is an option to consider if things do not go our way. If your life depends on it, then you can rest assured you shall have it, and you do not need anyone's agreement for it to come to pass. If you think your life depends on it, but it really doesn't, you are setting yourself up to perhaps be tested on this so that the Lord will show you what is true. He is. He always will be.
KR, He is true to you. He loves you and will never leave you nor forsake you. He will cause you to have life and have it more abundantly. Please do not tell Him what He must do for you to survive or be happy.... He already knows what you have need of (and He has it covered). The question is do we know what we truly have need of?
"Father, I pray for KR that you would provide a steady job with good pay, wherever and however you choose, and help them to trust you with the details, even when they do not understand them themselves. In Jesus' name, I pray that your peace that passes understanding will be upon my brother, or sister. amen."

Prayer is the greatest thing I have come to know
Last year I had my heart broken, it was terrible and I was weak. All I wanted to do was die, but in me there was an amazing internal strength that grew into a belief a never knew. My belief is still strong, but I still feel incomplete because in my heart I still love my ex, but I have to do the hardest thing ever and watch him love someone else. Lately, I feel unwanted and unhappy...I really want to overcome this...I appreciate the comfort and prayers this site offers...

My heart goes out to you, I too know what it feels like to be broken hearted. I said a prayer for you and I trust that the God of comfort, will comfort you. You testified that "you have an amazing internal strength", keep fighting and praying, you will make it! You are not unwanted, incomplete or unhappy!! You were wonderfully made. Please learn to love yourself as much as you love your ex. You are a passionate person, use that passion to witness and bring others to Christ. God has a plan for your life and maybe that plan does not include your ex, maybe that plan includes someone that will love you as Christ loves the church. PRAYER REQUEST
I am writing to request prayer for my son, Ryan. He is 19 years old and has been sentenced to prison for a non-violent crime. Ryan has been diagnosed with Bi-polar disorder, Schizoaffective disorder and Major Depression. I am praying for his salvation, healing and deliverance. Please pray with me for his early release from prison also. This has been very hard and heartbreaking for me to see my son going thru the legal system. I have to start by saying that.... I have never responded or commented on any type of blogs, posts, etc.. of any kind before. In fact it took more than 5-7 minutes of me contemplating whether or not to even register on this site to even respond. This is the FIRST time I have visited this site. Prior to this moment, I never even knew this website existed. I was laying in bed unable to sleep...... first please allow me to explain.....you see, I have recently started an organization that helps ex-offenders transition back into society after imprisonment. The Lord has been good to me and has opened up many doors for me. I am humbled by the position he has put me in...... a position where I can really help many people that are in great need of him. The last couple of days I have been examining myself.... , I love the Lord and know that I am saved, but feel that i need to be delivered from a few things before i can make the real impact that he wants me to make for his kingdom. Sooooo....... I am laying in bed a few minutes ago praying and unable to sleep and i was lead to just get up and go to my laptop and research "deliverance" . I come across the" prayer for deliverance" page on this website and immediately I see your prayer request. I look at the date and found it interesting that you just recently posted. As I finished reading your prayer request, I felt a REAL URGE to respond. I started feeling like God was telling me... I want you to pray for this person and I want this person to pray for you. I immediately started making excuses in my head....."Nah, i dont think you really want me to respond to this right now....right GOD??"... "I mean its the middle of the night.... deliverance from spirit of lust and unbelief
I am 24 years old and these 2 sins have overcome me so much. I am losing my faith and cannot get delivered after repenting and praying with so many people. Last Night I Repented my sins, and today I find self fighting the devil harder than I ever have tryed to fight him, Seems like I can't get anything right today, and things just keep happing as in arguing with people and stuff! "Father, I am so proud of our sister for taking the step of repentance for her sins. You have heard her cry and answered. We give thanks to you that if we confess our sins you are faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us of all unrighteousness. The devil is checking her out to see if she was serious, and I know she is because she is repenting as she sins, and not putting it off. I pray your deliverance from the bonds of the devil and grant our sister great rest and peace in our Lord Jesus Christ. In Jesus' name I pray, amen."
Rachel, I come alongside you as a brother in the Lord and I am letting you know you are not alone. There are many who will read and pray for you here. In the name of Jesus Christ, I declare that you are translated from the power of darkness into God's marvelous Kingdom of Light. Its your time to shine for Jesus sister! Be blessed and happy in it and just keep repenting as soon as you slip up. The slip ups will become less and less frequent. This is a process that has a time element involved. Do not let the devil tell you your confession did not work, or that your repentance is bogus. They are not. You are the real deal, and Jesus knows that and will give you victory!

Prayers Requested and Answered
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,
I was looking for a prayer of deliverance for myself and my two children when I found your site. This is no accident. I have been divorced from my now ex-wife for three years and since that time our lives have taken very different courses. I dedicated my life to Jesus Christ and was baptized about six months before our divorce was final. I have continued to follow in this path and have since been blessed in many ways. I have shared custody of my children which is rare for a father to receive. Although I have shown my children the importance of leading a God fearing life, times spent with their mom has taken its toll on them. They have witnessed many events of neglect and continue to watch their mom and her boyfriend choose alcohol and partying over caring for her children.
This has been a heart breaking experience for me. I feel as though I am helpless as I watch my children begin to become consumed with anger and hurt at the world they are forced to endure. Government agencies have been notified of the situation, yet have failed to take any actions on the children's part. I have very little money, so that a miracle from the court system seems out of the question. I continue to pray and do what I can to provide a stable, loving and God fearing home for these children. They are now 9 and 13 years old.
I am sending you this letter in request of prayer. In hope that you will forward it on to others who might offer up prayers in Jason (9) and Megan's (13) behalf. I am also sending you this as witness of our Lord Jesus Christ's magnificent glory and power.
I know and believe that before this year will end, the situation that these children are in will be corrected by God Almighty love. As sure as there were those who believed that the walls of Jericho would crumble, the children of Israel would leave Egypt, and that Christ was truly our Savior, I know that God will not stand by and watch these children suffer any longer from the forces that turn them away from His love.

Give Steven the wisdom and direction he needs to protect their hearts even in this divided state. Help him to comfort them and reach them for you God. Help Him to point them to You as their source of strength and peace in the midst of the storm. Please grant the children hearts of forgiveness for the break up of their home and family. May they not blame you God, nor themselves, nor even their parents, but help them hate the devil who has brought this to pass. Deliver them from all bitterness and shame and anger. in Jesus' name, amen."

' Spiritual authority' This is one of the books that was used as a foundation for the Shepherding movement back in the 80's.-here are specifics;
Below are a few statements in this book that I don't see New Testament support for.
Page 22-23 under "First Lesson a Worker Should Learn Is Obey Authority": We are under men's authority as well as having men under our authority. This is our position. Even the Lord Jesus on earth was subject not only to God but also to other's authority... A Christian worker ought to know who is above him. Some do not know who are the authorities above them, hence they do not obey. We should not be occupied with right or wrong, good or evil; rather should we know who is the authority above us. Once we learn to whom we must be subject, we naturally find our place in the body.
Page 71 under "Be Fearlessly Subject to Delegated Authority": People will perhaps argue, "What if the authority is wrong?" The answer is, If God dares to entrust His authority to men, then we can dare to obey. Whether the one in authority is right or wrong does not concern us, since he has to be responsible directly to God. The obedient needs only to obey; the Lord will not hold us responsible for any mistaken obedience, rather will He hold the delegated authority responsible for his erroneous act. Insubordination, however, is rebellion, and for this the one under authority must answer to God.
Page 180-181 under "To Be in Authority Often Means Loneliness": In learning to be in authority we ought to be sanctified before brothers and sisters. Many legitimate things we cannot do and many lawful words we cannot speak. We must be sanctified both in words and in sentiments. According to ourselves we take a certain attitude, but among God's children we will be sanctified. Even our fellowship with brothers and sisters must have a limit beyond which we will neither be casual nor frivolous. We should rather lose our liberty, we rather will be lonely. Loneliness is the mark of authority... The opposite of holiness is commonness, not sin. To be sanctified is to be different from others....The sparrows fly in flocks, whereas the eagles fly singly....To be in authority requires restraint; one must sanctify himself. Others may but you cannot; others may speak, but you cannot....You may feel lonely and miss the fervor of the crowd; nevertheless, you dare not mingle with the brothers and sisters in joking and jesting. This is the price of authority. Unless we sanctify ourselves like our Lord we are not qualified to be in authority.
Page 182-183 under "To Be in Authority Requires Restraining One's Affections": I will show myself holy among those who are near me."...There is a much severer discipline applied to them than to the people in general.... As has already been mentioned, the opposite of holiness is commonness. Holiness means that others may, but I cannot. What the disciples may do, the Lord does not. What other brothers may do, those in authority cannot do. Even lawful affection needs to be put under control; otherwise death can be the consequence. The people of Israel died because of their sins, but priests may die because of not being sanctified....Those who serve are anointed by God. They should sacrifice their own affections, denying even legitimate ones. All who would maintain God's authority must know how to oppose their own feelings, how to lay aside the deepest of their affections towards their relatives, friends and loved ones. The demand of God is exacting: unless one lays aside his own affections he cannot serve God. He who is sanctified is God's servant; he who is not sanctified is a common person.
Page 184 under "Sanctified in Life and Enjoyment": It is therefore a matter of enjoyment. Others may enjoy, but we cannot. Others may rejoice in pleasures (for wine speaks of rejoicing), but we cannot. People serving God are under discipline that they may be able to distinguish between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean.... The higher the office, the stricter the demand. The degree of nearness to God becomes the degree of His demand. Of him to whom God entrusts more, the more will He demand. God especially concerned with whether of not His servants have sanctified themselves.
Page 185 under "Authority Is Based on Sanctification": Authority has its foundation in sanctification... You cannot represent God if you maintain very liberal and loose communication with the people. The higher the authority the greater the separation.
Page 191 under the chapter "The Conditions for Being Delegated Authorities": To be in authority is costly; such ones need to be sanctified from the rest and be ready for a lonely life.... As soon as one becomes too common, he is dropped from the work. His usefulness is gone, and his authority is lost.
Its about controlling people, legalism, a very dangerious form of fundamentalism
King George 111 used Romans 13 against the colonists in the revolution. Romans 13 was the bases of 'divine right of kings' to rebel against them, was to rebel against God, a nifty arrangement. He was told "If Kings rule by divine right, then let them rule in heaven!"-Thomas Jefferson
Watchman nee's book is a return to the authoritarian legalism of 'kings,' dangerous, medieval, scary.

The seperatism attitude is pretty much backed up .. but the thing that intrigues me is how can we effectively minister when a persay "CLIQUE" way exist. It's almost that type of thinking that has so many reclusive from attending worship now. i mean establishing the elite of the Church is almost a fail proof way of producing hierarchy. which is not in any way form or fashion anything but a chosen practice of.. (let's say it together) TRADITIONALISM. i mean in all actuallity habit is tradtionalism. GOD is the supreme head of all but even he does not exist alone. and with all the references of the body of christ co-existing seems a lot more reasonable than any form of soiltary
prayer request
Dear sisters and brothers in Jesus Christ,
I am writing to ask for prayers, out of a new and sad situation. Last summer I got the grace to buy a flat which now has shown heavy damages. Reason is, water is coming at its back wall, from the mountain where the house is built on. As it seems to me all this started at once, after we had many other problems, and, I am sorry to write such words, it may be a "curse" on us, to stop our way.
Humbly I am asking for much prayers, that this problem may be solved quickly and rather cheap. If the situation is as bad as it seems I probably need to sell the flat because I am not able to pay the costs for the repairments.

The Necessity of Deliverance.
I always start by telling the seeker to find and read Deliver Us From Evil, by Bob Mumford.
The picture of deliverance we see in the OT is when the children of Israel take over the promised land.
They DID NOT lock arms and take over the whole land at once.
GOD gave them the land of the evil ones as they sought HIM and obeyed HIM..
and most importantly as they were able to defend the land they already had.
Any military tactician will tell you the time that an army is most vulnerable is right after they take new ground.
You will NOT get every bit of deliverance at once because you'd never be able to protect all that territory as you need to.
GOD will give it to you in stages, you'll feel better and then you'll notice you need more.
This is almost always the case so don't get discouraged.
Also remember he most important change needed to protect that new territory is the confessions of your mouth
and the being full of joy and peace from your confessions, praise and worship.
(In other words - get those books and tapes)
You will PROBABLY only need 1 to 5 formal deliverances with ministries.
Most of your deliv will come from you as you learn to discern and go straight at them and cast them out.
Don't ever forget:
"Periodic deliverance is necessary for a healthy Christian walk".
Deliverance the one of the 3 important missing ingredients in the church.
the other two things that keep the church marginal and defeated are
2) the lack of true discipleship,
(Someone said the biggest delusion in the church is that they think they understand discipleship).
3) and the refusal to walk in the principles of authority and submission.
(I honestly believe the book 2nd most hated and feared by satan is Spiritual Authority by Watchman Nee)
We have been given ALL power and ALL authority and yet the church (esp in the US) is not close to walking in unity and power as it should..
How is it that the possessors of ALL power and authority walk in confusion and defeat?
How well would the troops in Iraq do if there was no understand of, or mandate to, submit to authority?
They'd all be dead, hiding, or converted to the other side!
If the church of JESUS CHRIST would get in order, REALLY submit one to another in humility,
we could take over the planet...fast! Nothing could stand that we did not allow.
I do not think this is the end times scenario (tho is could be) but this is the principle that we
are going to have to regain to do whatever it is we are to do in these days.
Unfortunately most will be selfish and stubborn until "the rock falls on them" before they get it.

My eldest daughter has been ministering to a cadet from the Air Force Academy (he is also on the Olympic Judo Squad).
He went to church with her last week and after word they prayed together.
She felt led to pray in tongues and when she started the HOLY SPIRIT "took it away" and she was almost shouting.
GOD spoke to Ronna and told her to lay hands on him as she prayed.
The anointing fell on them so hard they were both shaking uncontrollably and he had visions in his minds eye of the crucifixion etc
Then GOD stopped her and said 'minster deliverance to him now"!
She gave this barely saved lapsed catholic a 2 min explanation and he said OK and she laid hands on him and
started calling out demons.
She said he started coughing like he was going to throw a lung and she started to also,
Calling out more each time she could catch a breath.
She called me tonight.
She says he is praying all the time and is hearing from GOD and hungry as can be.
SOOOO very glad we raised the kids in deliverance.

Please pray that God will free me from an addiction that I’ve been struggling with for a long time. Pray that He’ll restore my strength, joy, and order to my life. I also need God to show me how to fight spiritual warefare, and to recieve deliverance, healing, protection and His blessing in my life. It seems like warfare takes a lot of energy and I keep fighting the same battles. I want to learn how to defeat the enemy and go to new ground. I’ve ordered a book by Derek Prince that should help me with that (as well as books by Mahesh Chavda). Pray that they arrive soon, and that I will learn, absorb and successfully use the information in those books. Also, I’ve been invited to go skiing tomorrow, but I have a cold; pray for healing for this cold.

I prayed til I was blue in the face and by 5 o'clock would start knockin down the vodka.
I went on a 10 day fast. The first 3 days were terrible. My flesh cried for alcohol sedation. By the 7th day the whole thing totally broke. Bam! Gone.

I don't like to be picky but this worries me

The breathing and the using your will to force him out so to speak sound quite like a new age, or witches teaching. Our will is not doing anything from what I read in the bible, only the will of the Father through Christ and his holy spirit, and the breathing might help you but sounds very much like grounding after ritual.
I would have thought prayer to Jesus and casting out in the name of Jesus would suffice, and thanking the Lord of course:). Am I not correct?

Praise the Lord! God says that our ways nor our thoughts are like His, but God takes the foolish things to conform the wise, but on a personal note I've been delivered by prayer, speaking God's word, through praising Him, and by breathing and yet pleading the blood of Jesus not the blood of satan. Jesus said a kingdom that's divided against itself can not stand so some things may not be as common but it doesn't mean it's not when of God either. Also just remember Jesus did miracles, He performed them by speaking the word, laying hands, someone touching Him, and He even used spit to heal a blind man! God moves in many ways just be sure that it's your faith that moves Him when you stand in need of God's goods!
To the body of Christ let us hold fast our profession of faith, faithful is He that promised.

Forgiveness
I have a question about forgiveness. If the people who did serious wrongs to you are NOT the least bit sorry (and would love a chance to do them again to you), and don't even WANT to be forgiven are you still obligated to forgive them? I have read conflicting things in various Christian books. Some say you have to forgive everybody of everything--period. Others say that you only have to forgive those who WANT to be forgiven (and that this is in The Bible somewhere). Which is it?

I believe that forgiveness has two sides to it. One side is to free the offended person from the pain and evil of the offense. The other is to release the offender so that the mercy and grace of God is not hindered by the offended person.
Jesus said "...love your enemies, pray for your persecutors..." Mt. 5:44. Later, "...father forgive them for they know not what they do..." Lk. 23:34
Personally I have found that there is nothing to be gained by harboring unforgiveness, resentment, revenge, etc...the spirits that accompany, or are the source of these fellings and attitudes, will only linger in, or around, the offended person as long as these attitudes are harbored. And, in many cases, my own physical and spiritual health will be affected if I continue to harbor unforgiveness.
Manifistation of unforgiveness..
Unforgiven sins have power over you. They manifistate themselves and can taunt you daily. The sinful acts against you can be recreated over and over again as you play it in your mind. You are a victim over and over again. By doing this you are giving satan power to hurt you over and over, by reliving each assult.
The perpetrator that accosted me multible times in my life has no power over me. He is forgiven. I am free. I am no longer a battered victim. I am a free, strong woman of God, who has overcome through Christ our Lord.
What could upset the Devil more? That he has the power to jerk you around for the rest of your life, or that you ignore him, and walk away from him.
Thank God I am also removed from this situtation, many many years ago.
Forgiveness is your salvation. It frees you. Not forgiving, binds you to Satan. He not only used someone to hurt you, but it'll be multiplyed over and over again, until you let it go.

Manifistation of unforgiveness continued..
This also is important to know. Don't expect to feel a warm feeling melting you and showing you to forgive. Forgiving is a commandment, and we forgive others as we serve and obey our Heavenly Father. Now, just watch as you pray and forgive your arch enemy. Oh, dear. It's so hard to do. Yes, it's not an easy thing, but just notice... As soon as the words comes out of your mouth, then comes the warmth of God. See, you have released the hold of satan, and you're feeling God's blessing; and it is so worth it. Wow!! What a wonderful God we Serve!..

Forgiveness
Hi Christy
The lord says in Mat 18:22 that you must forgive 7 times seventy times. Forgiveness is one of the fruits of the Holy Sprit which manifests in your life if you are re born in Jesus Christ. Unforgiveness is one of the three sins that will prevent you from going to heaven. Forgiveness is a by product of Love which is the bigest power we posess.
I pray that you find forgiveness it is amazing how free you feel when you forgive someone.

Forgiveness is a gift that you bestow on those you need to forgive.....You will find that is will help you far far more than those who hurt you.....It is the healing balm applied to the deep wound within you....Without forgiveness the wound becomes more infected and you end up being bitter instead of better through forgiveness....Books telling you you do not need to forgive need to be tossed in the garbage....Where would we be without the forgiveness of a loving and caring God?????
Deliverance that comes from the Lord saves lives!
In Feb'07, a good Christian friend of mine approached me about deliverance. I was not saved at the time and did not know who our Lord Jesus was and what He had done for me little more than 2000 years ago. My life was spiriling out of control and I was on the vurge of giving up and totally surrendering to nothingness. When my girlfriend told me about deliverance by the Mighty hand of God I did not believe her at first but agreed to go and see for myself. On the day I was delivered, I walked in that place very sceptical and told myself 'well bring the voodoo on and we'll see how I'll feel afterwards and then I will decide what's what'. Little did I know that I would actually experience a demon manifestation. The demon was called Asmodias and he was in charge of lust and anything connected to sex and adultry. He did not want to leave for at least an hour and during that time I experienced bursts of evil laughter and all sorts of blesphamy coming out of my mouth. But he could not have stayed much longer in me for the Lord's Might and Power forced him out.
Praise and Honor and Glory be to our God, the Most High who sits in heaven on His throne and rules over all, in Jesus name, Amen! Deliverance is powerful and it will set you free.
Prayer for Deliverance
I am so grateful for the teaching I have received tonight, (fasting and deliverance). It is really so clear that God gave us everything we need ! We have a will and when you know Jesus died and rose again to give us eternal life and much more, we can choose to give Christ total reign in our lives by that God-given will. The enemy has to obey.
God is so precious and He really loves us and wants us !
