Generational curses
Yes, the curse can be passed on to one, while the other two can be apparently unaffected. Consider how this works in other things, such as alcoholism, etc. Not every child of an alcoholic will be an alcoholic.When a person is involved in certain things, they open themselves up to demonic influence, and give that spirit access to their family line. When a member of the family dies, these spirits will "wander in dry places" (Matthew 12:43-45), and then will seek "rest" in the family line, which they claim a legal right to.The concept of generational curses is all over the Bible, but the principle can be found in Exodus 20:5. Here's just a couple other biblical examples; Noah's son Ham was cursed in Genesis 9:20-25. In I Samuel 2-4 Eli and his descendants were cursed because of Eli's negligence in ministry. In II Samuel 12:7-14, a curse was pronounced against David and his house for his sin with Bathsheba and Uriah. As the story unfolds,the spirit of rebellion remained within his house; even his own son Absalom rose up against David and sought to take his throne. Solomon eventually fell into the same sin that his father did; it was his lust for (forbidden) women that caused him to sin. What God had given him was not enough. In John 9:2, the disciples were well aware of generational curses, as they asked Jesus, "Who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?" Jesus then redirected their attention to the solution (Himself), in His answer, "Neither has this man sinned nor his parents, but that the works of God could be made manifest..." Obviously, Jesus wasn't implying that the man or his parents had never sinned, for all have sinned and come short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). He was telling them that the solution to all of man's problems and issues, including generational curses was standing right in front of them, for He had come to do the works of God. It is the same for us today, we have been legally set free from the curse (Galatians 3:13) through the blood of Jesus, but we must incorporate it by faith. The devil still believes that he has a right to enforce the curse of the law (which he actually does have the right, in the case of an unbeliever).

Hi Thomas
In your saying, there are generational curses in regard to Freemasonry, can we therefore safely assume that every family having had an Ancestor ie, (Grandfather, Great grandfather, Great great grandfather ) involved in Freemasonry is cursed, and have this Freemasonry curse actively working in their family?
When there is something such as Freemasonry, which we say has a curse connected to it, does it then mean, "EVERYONE" which becomes involved in it, would then acquire the curse?
Wouldn't this also mean, every Freemason "HAS" passed the curse on, to future generations?

Generational curses
Hi twoythal
In saying there are generational curses in regard to Freemasonry, what do we see as evidence such as a symptom, connected to the Freemasonry generational curse that we do not see in another type of generational curse.
In other words, if we say that Freemasonry can cause a generational curse, it would be because of some specific involvement within freemasonry, therefore aren't there certain peculiarities that follow the Freemason curse, which are not prevalent in some other supposed generational curse?
If all of the generational curses have the same things within them, then the generational curse becomes a MOOT curse.
Can you name something else that can cause a generational curse, besides Freemasonry?
You contradict yourself with your examples when you say.

1) Noah's son, (Cursed by Noah himself because Ham saw his fathers nakedness), not because Ham opened himself up to Demonic influence, thus giving legal access to his family line.
And in the case of Ham being cursed, all of Hams descendants were under this curse, as a people, the Canaanite's, not just some as you have pointed out would be the case with a generational curse.
2) Your second example of a generational curse concerns Eli, this curse came upon the house of Eli from GOD, and this curse could not be broken as you say the generational curse can be, this curse, was not because of Eli's opening himself to Demonic influence.
3) The curse against David was because of his murder of Uriah the Hittite
God said because David had despised the commandment of the lord,
the LORD said, ("I") will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house.
Once again this curse is not in the sense of the generational curse we are talking about.
4) Solomon's sin was against the Commandment of God, by marring strange wives.
5) Your last example is not even about generational curses, have you used it because there are no examples to be found within the New Testament but this is as close as you can get?
Jesus said to them, this man was born blind, that the works of God should be made manifest in him.
Even with all of your 5 examples, there is nothing found within any of them that would hold water.
So as far as I am concerned, the belief in Generational Curses is, all wet.
When you say:

I cannot believe you are referring to "The generational curse", because that is the subject is it not?
Therefore it is not the same for us today is it?

Freemasons in general do good works on the local level,most are farmers,businessmen,some church members,I am not in it,by the way,and never have,but I'm sure some of us have bought a chicken dinner at 1 time or another for a good cause. The very high ranks are involved in goverment trying to change things,more in the way of world goverment issues.There are no curses for God's people,except the devil's pull to distroy the saints or their testimony any way possible,all this worldly fleshly,haunted busines is to keep christians chasing their tails,while satan laughs and distracts people from the great commion,winning souls before its to late.Tribulation comes to all the just and the unjust and until Christ returns or we die it will continue,but we are overcomers through Christ Jesus.AMEN

Very well said my brother in Christ.. I also believe that there are no curses for God's people as long as we abide in Him..about your last sentence "tribulation comes to all the just and unjust" i have something to ask from that .. are you pertaining about the great tribulation to come after the rapture?.. Because as i know if I'm not mistaken, tribulation will only come to those who are left behind (unjust) because during rapture all the just ones are taken up..

As to explain my terms tribulation,was not the 7 year tribulation,but daily living has good days and bad days,for saints or sinners. The great tribulation will only start when a tready is signed between Jews and either the palastinians or arab league with the dividing of Jerusalem and at that time rebuilding the temple. I exspect very soon. Its very easy here to get a heated discussion. As far as my comment on masons,also a hot topic, I will say this,are there any pentecostals on this site and if so,find a copy of the pentecostal holiness manual. 70s or older version and read about salvation,santication and the babtism. In the teaching of salvation etc, which started the latter day rain over 200 years ago,there all will see no sin or curses or spirits can enter in a santified body. Once the blood of Jesus has washed away our sins and filled us with his Spirit, we are sealed as we walk in the faith. We are brand new creatures in Christ, When Christ died on the cross,the price was paid,to set the captive free which included vows,broken promises,sworn oaths,blood contracts to the devil or whatever bonds are on you in you or riding on your back. I don't understand why people want to keep the chains on for no reason.be blessed and enjoy such a great salvation amen

I don;t know where to find 1 now,they changed the teaching both in Pentecostal and church of God in 1980s.They dropped many of them for growth reasons,they were supposedly to strick in these last days to draw large numbers.If you need any imformation in mine let me know and I'll send it,I also have the artical of faith of Church of God teaching before they changed them.the penicostal manual is for 1977,the church of God one is 1984,after which they dropped many of theirs as well

I respectfully disagree. A high level Mason will tell you that Jesus never existed, or that he was fathered by a Roman soldier named Pantera. In fact, the only religion that a high level Mason will attack is Christianity. Does that tell you something?

When your oath to enter the secret society (Oh, who works in darkness, Jesus, or Satan?) is that you come "seeking the light," and proceed down a path that is not Jesus Christ, who Himself proclaimed "I am The Light", then we have a problem. This is a Christian forum, and Freemasonry is NOT CHRISTIAN. The oaths bind people to hideous curses and bind also their generations. "He who is not for me is against me," sums up the Masons position. They pay lip service when convenient, but they are far from Him.

According to Don Dickerman*, a deliverance minister,the most common type of generational curses are tied to involvement in Freemasonry.He encounters this over and over.I believe I can personally attest to this.As mentioned in my previous post,my father has been associated with Freemasonry since before I was born.Generations of his family before him were also involved.My brothers and I have had trouble all our lives! Much due to choices we have made,but which came first,the curse or the choices? I have taken full responsibility for my choices and repented.I have been a Christian for 13 years,and I am still struggling to obtain the abundant life that Jesus died to give me.It is difficult to explain,but it feels as if I am operating at times with a wet blanket over my mind.Underachievement ,depression ,and what I call a "catch 22" mentality have plagued me all my life! I praise God that He,I believe, has led me to the answer to these problems! I had always been very quick to discount the tie between generational curses and Freemasonry,confused by the different opinions on the organization,and the enemy's voice.On deeper inspection,starting with Michael's experience,and reading on my own,I now believe there is a connection.
* Don Dickerman has had a prison ministry based in Texas for 30 years,in 1997 the Lord led him into the deliverance ministry,with tremendous results.I have read two of his books "Who Let the Pigs In" and "How to Keep the Pigs Out" ,that deal with this subject.I highly recommend that these be part of every Christian library.

Freemasonry- It IS dangerous!!!!
Remember: Satan himself can transform himself into an angel of light.On the surface,Freemasonry seems to be a great organization. The Scottish Rite Hospitals do help a lot of children.There are definite advantages in business and politics to members.Personal support among the members is strictly encouraged.! My father is a 33 degree Mason.This has always been a source of pride to him,as you must be invited to join.The membership usually consist of upstanding members of the community. He has argued that members "kiss the Bible". I have told him that the Bible is interchangeable with any sacred text,according to the majority of beliefs.Not that this really matters to him,he is not a Christian.He is also completely deceived,and unable to respond to the Gospel,in part I believe, because he is "hoodwinked".
The problem that Christians have with Freemasonry along with the secrecy,are the oaths that initiates are required to make.Hoods places over heads,nooses around necks,and declarations of violence against themselves if any secrets are divulged !
The Bible is clear about such "oaths"
Mathew 5:37 "But let your 'Yes' be 'Yes,' and your 'No,' 'No.' For whatever is more than these is from the evil one.
Jam 5:12 But above all, my brethren, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath. But let your "Yes" be "Yes," and [your] "No," "No," lest you fall into judgment.
This is just the beginning of issues that Christians have with this organization.But,this is nothing new. As far back as 1717 the Catholic Church condemned Freemasonry,not only because of secrecy even among members,but also because of their divorce between morality and God,or humanism.
At its core,and among the highest members, this organization is far more insidious than you can even imagine.

Some clarification
There can never be a fair debate between Freemasons and anti-Masons for three specific reasons:
1. Many anti-Masons have their minds made up
No matter what evidence a Freemason presents, no matter what argument he uses, many anti-Masons are not open to anything other than their own beliefs. Legitimate evidence is written off, dismissed, and ignored.
2. Anti-Masons do not trust Freemasons
If a Freemason presents any evidence or information that paints Freemasonry in a positive light, the anti-Mason dismisses it either because he believes that the Freemason has been misled by "those higher-up", or they believe that the Freemason himself is "one higher up" so he is therefore misleading. It's a no-win scenario stacked in favor of the anti-Mason.
3. Anti-Masons will censor a Freemason's words
I debated several anti-Masons on online forums in open and honest discussions about the compatibility of Freemasonry and Christianity, and in ALL CASES, when the discussion got to a point where I had provided historical and experiential evidence that shows that Freemasonry can be very compatible with Christianity, my posts were either not posted or they were deleted.
These conclusions come from my participation in Freemasonry and my honest and forthright discussion on several anti-Masonic forums.

I may not have as much expierience as you do inside of the freemason field, because i am in demolay, and still a young mason among you. but i have known Freemasons to run down my family line for generations, and i am following that to the heart. I am a christian, as for freemason isnt realy a religion, its a very welll organization of well successful men too. if it wasnt for freemasons the america we know today might not even be alive, Freemasons are the men who dressed up as indians, and threw 342 chests of tea off a ship in the boston habor. George washington, Teddy Roosevelt, i think Walt disney, Thomas Jefferson, and Ben Franklin, were freemasons.
and if we deny that fact, we would be lying to ourselves, i as one person, believe that without the masons, we would be without an America.
putting that aside, why is there anti, masons anyway? for balance as some say? i dont believe in being an Anti anything, because people should have their own ideas, every mind matters, yes i may believe in god. but i dont believe that if someone doesnt believe him goes to hell, i believe any benevolent man, will go to heaven because he paid no sin here on earth! SavedMason, the wisdom you put in your words are great, words that i will never forget in my life, for they are forever forged in my mind. i know people, who are, pegan,wiccan,aithiest,jewish,and catholic. but even the perople who dont believe in god, i dont try and change their ways, something someone believes in is not everything in the world, who someone is, makes us, not our beliefs, nor religion, nor our minds. think of the world if we stop arguing over religion, maybe some of us will be in peace of the world.

Correcting some inaccuraccies...
My responses are from the point of view of a York Rite Freemason in the United States. From some of the statements in the original post, it appears that it may be a UK-based post. While there have been "abuses of power" among some UK Freemasons, their conduct does not represent nor should it reflect upon Freemasons globally.
"...from the highest levels (31st, 32nd and 33rd degree freemasons)."
The ignorance in this statement abounds. Those "highest degrees" are conferred only in the Scottish Rite, and EVERY Scottish Rite Mason receives the 31st and 32nd degrees, so they are all at the same "level". The 33rd degree is conferred as an honor to exceptional men.
"Many men become freemasons because they are invited to do so by colleagues who are usually further up the social scale than they are themselves."
In most jurisdictions, this is a false statement. Men must ask to join Freemasonry, they are not solicited by members.
"Men are led to understand that by joining the lodge they will enjoy many benefits and opportunities in society which they would not otherwise enjoy. Freemasons will almost always favor each other above someone else who is not a member of the lodge. Business opportunities, special favors, invitations to positions of influence are some of the benefits enjoyed by many devoted members of the lodge."
Again, false. It is true that Freemasons may favor other Freemasons over non-Freemasons, but is that any different from church members favoring other church members over non-church members, or any other group you might be a member of favoring its own members? Being a Freemason does not automatically give you status, benefits, and power.
"Most freemasons go no further than the Master Mason level (3rd level). However, those that press on to study for the rituals of the higher levels of the York or Scottish rites soon learn that there are mysteries which those at the lower levels are not permitted to know."
This is true. Just as it is in almost any learning experience. When you go to college as a 1st year student, you do not take 4th year courses. Why? Because out of context, the information would not make sense to you. Freemasonry, like most learning methodologies, builds upon itself.
"In fact, they find out that those at lower levels are deliberately misled concerning the doctrine and practices of freemasonry."
I have been through the York Rite, and yes we have learned things that are not taught to those who are not members, but there is never any misleading. As stated above, everything is taught incrementally.
"However, when we realises that deliberate deception is being practiced, we should smell a rat."
I challenge you to show evidence of this beyond your own conjecture.
"Many Anglican clergymen are and have been freemasons. Clergymen from other denominations are also involved. New initiates are told that Freemasonry is basically a moral movement for the betterment of humanity in which people of all religions can participate. However, it is not possible to follow the Bible and accept masonic doctrines and practices at the same time."
It is completely possible if you believe in John 3:16. If you are saved through Christ's redemptive blood, then your eternal destination is sealed by God's promise. There is nothing said or done in Freemasonry (at least the Blue Lodge and the York Rite--I cannot speak to the Scottish Rite) that can take away a man's salvation.
"In one of their rituals, masons kiss the Bible goodbye."
This is categorically false, at least in the Blue Lodge and the York Rite. Please show evidence of this.
"The ways of Jesus Christ who taught openly and without deception are incompatible with the ways of freemasonry."
What Jesus taught is His plan of salvation which, if followed, seals one's eternal fate. As a Christian, it is your right and duty to evangelize to everyone, including Freemasons.
"Lower level masons are told that masons must believe in a deity known as The Great Architect of the Universe. However, when they get to one of the mid range levels (about level 8 I believe) they are then told that the deity of freemasonry is in fact called 'Jahbulon', This name is a syncretic mixture of the Hebrew name for God, Yahweh, the Babylonian god 'Bel' ('Baal?') and the Egyptian god 'On'. The Old Testament speaks out strongly against these pagan deities (Isaiah 46 for example). The people of Israel were not even supposed to take the names of these gods upon their lips! How can this 'Jahbulon' be one and the same as the God of the Bible? Christianity declares Jesus Christ to be God in human flesh. How can Jesus be Jahbulon? The very idea is blasphemous to a Christian."
Based on York Rite Freemasonry, this is absolutely false. As a York Rite mason, I made a promise that I would not disclose what I learned, so my response to this is that it would be in your best interest to do some research before you make such false statements.
"Things get worse when a freemason reaches the 31st level. At this stage, freemasons are informed that the true name of God is Lucifer. Now Lucifer is the name of the angel that fell from heaven through rebellion and became the devil, or Satan. Satan is the arch-enemy of the people of God! Freemasons claim that Lucifer is really the true god they serve. At the same time they are quick to point out that they consider Satanism to be a heresy. Yet the antipathy of freemasonry towards the true and living God of the Christians comes out clearly here, as indeed it does in other places."
Sigh. I am not a Scottish Rite Freemason, but all the research I have done points to this being a false statement. Please provide proof of this.
"Freemasons wish death upon themselves should they reveal the secrets of freemasonry to an outsider. This is a good example of a curse. Now some might think this is just harmless fun, but its only a person ignorant of spiritual realities who would think such a thing."
It is not a curse, but a serious, commitment made of a serious matter. And did you know that this "wish of death" you speak of os purely allegorical? In the history of Freemasonry, no one, repeat no one, has ever carried out this sentence despite the myriad of people who have chosen to break their promise to the fraternity. And notice that most anti-Masons who were once Masons have no problem breaking the promises they made. How are THEY to be trusted?
"Indeed, one of my brothers, who also dabbled in martial arts a little, although a Christian, died at the age of 21, without warning. To me this was due at least in part to a curse."
Heartbreaking, but completely inconclusive. Are you contending that any young Christian who is called home by the Lord has been somehow cursed? That's extremely dangerous doctrine.
Finally, I'll say this: My involvement in the York Rite of Freemasonry has brought me much closer to Christ in my spiritual walk. My relationship with Christ has strengthened and deepened, and my excitement to one day meet Him in Heavan is overwhelming. But until He calls me home, I will strive on this earth to be a better man, a Christian man, a man of service, and a humble man--things that Freemasonry facilitates.

Freemasonary and Financial Seminars
My brother has gotten caught up with Financial Seminars run by Freemasons. He has been going regularly for a year and a half now and I am afraid for him. He has really changed since going to this mobs Seminars. I can't explain it but he turns on his family in anger now often. You can't ask him anything. He has become a different man. It is as if these people control him somehow. You can't stop him from going he is now addicted to these Seminars. If we ask him to stay home and have a quiet weekend at home he accuses us of trying to run his life and other things. His business is suffering and he is so moody and no longer communicates with us so we hardly know what he is doing or where he is going any more.
It is very scarey. My brother gave his heart to the Lord a few years ago, began reading his Bible and just found a Church to go to when he decided to brush up on his Finanical, Business and Property skills. Since then he has become obsessed with the idea of earning millions (before if he got a good yearly wage he was happy). However everything he tries to do has fallen through and his regular Real Estate business is suffering because he is so busy looking for Property and Financial deals he is neglecting his work.
It was a slow change at first but the last 18 months have been horrible for all of us who care for him.
Please pray for my brother to be delivered from whatever hold these guys seem to have over him. I know only God can deliver him from what he is invovled with now and restore him to his family, to all of us.
My mum & Hubby and I have been praying but he seems to be getting worse as each week passes by. Honestly it is stressing me out and I can't have any peace watching him ruin his life & that of his family, not to mention I have now started to not be able to sleep becasue of this.

Vijay, at the moment my brother will not come to church with my husband and me. My brother gets angry if we invite him to come to church or try to talk to him about God's Word.
I have been praying myself for the Lord to do what He needs to in my brother's life to release him from these teachings. I pray every day. I appreciate the scriputre references I will look them up. Yes I have been also asking God to guide me in how to pray for my brother in this situation.
My brother was given by some Serbian friend of his 3 DVDs of New World Order conspiracies and the Mark of the Beast. Unfortunately they were secular ones so they are a bit over the top. However at least my brother was interested enough to do some of his own Internet research on this phenomenon. I have found a good New World Order Christian article which also has a section on Christianity and at the end there is a bit of a conclusion with a salvation prayer. I got it from a friend who recommeded the website and I printed off the article to give to my brother the day after tomorrow.
I hope my brother's interest in the New World Order conspiracies will shake him up and he will read the Christian article on this. That is all I can do for now and I will keep praying for him and wait on the Lord. For only the Lord is able to deliver my brother from any deception Satan has entangled him with. If my brother is willing going to these Seminars and chaing money due to his own greed than may the Lord enable me to cope as I am so upset by it all.

UPDATE! - RE: Freemasonary and Financial Seminars
I managed to pass on the Christian New World Order booklet to my brother today.
Please pray he will read. My brother received the booklet quite happily and said he would like to read it.
I am praying Satan will not distract him from reading the booklet or that the booklet does not get covered up by some of his other paperwork on his Office Desk (which often happens).
Also my brother owes my hubby & I money and has offerred today to sell some property to pay it back (he offerred without us nagging him about it, praise God!). This is a breakthrough until now he has kept saying he can't repay us and making excuses. He has put the property on the market, please pray for God to bless it's sale and enable my brother to make good on his promise to us. I truly beleive God has softened my brother's heart to some extent.
My hubby & I will just keep praying for my brother's deliverance from GREED and these Financial Seminar teachings. God hears our prayers, even if I do not know exactly how to pray I believe the Holy Spirit is interceeding for us and God can do immeasurably more than we ask or think to ask. I'm looking for scripture to pray over and promises to claim for our situation. If anyone has any they could suggest I would be truly grateful.

This is simply one of Satan’s strategies in attacking believers. Yes, God wants to provide for his children but covetousness and love of money does open the door to the enemy. I suggest that you keep on praying for him in faith. Release the results into the hands of the Lord and stop looking for signs of improvement each moment as this might cause you to have fear or doubts. Please have a look at Romans 4v16-25. God’s word instructs us to be careful for nothing but in everything give thanks with prayers and supplications let your requests be known unto God.
Pray that his eyes may be opened to his sin and that God would give him a heart of repentance. Take authority over the powers of darkness, bind their activities. I also think that it is very important that you don’t let this situation take over your life. Don’t let him control you or your family with his anger, but quietly exercise authority over the situation in the Name of Jesus, continue to love him; don’t condemn him as this would only draw him away further. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom on how to act and how to pray. I shall be praying for you and I’m sure that other guys on his site would do so too. Finally remember with God all things are possible and that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or thing according to his power that is at work in us.

My great grandfather and my father were both freemasons. I do not know which level they ascended to and my father refuses to say anything about it to this very day. He even still defends his involvement by saying they were a christian organization (obviously they are not)

I would recommend following the instructions for renouncing freemasonry just to be sure there is nothing operating in your life coming from your father's and great grandfather's involvements with the masons. You are obviously out of agreement with their principles and mysteries, etc. so your heart should be right as you go through renouncing.

There is no physical external evidence of God as there is no evidence to proove bipolar is biological or even exists other than percieved observation. I would like someone to proove God or Lucifer even exist other than in human written scriptures which can only also be at the scrutiny of what we call perception. If there is no evidence other than in blind faith and belief then I understand how no-one can actualy know.
I am bipolar, there is no evidence for the existence of a chemical imbalance I am given many drugs to treat so what secret lies beneath I wish I knew, I have also pondered on the possibility of forces unseen and this can not be ruled out, neither can God however I have been lied to by specialists on the matter of bipolar so what on earth should posses me to listen to more man made perceptions, my grandfather and beyond were also masonic but I cant blame them for the wonderful education my being has blessed me with, though it is hard. If I had to commit to spirituality I would suggest you observe your personification of God and the spirit of Jesus and you will find that they are not human beings and there for we are not benefiting ourselves by thinking they would be considering our feeble mentality. I say God is everything that is in existence including all realms and energies, including Satan and Jesus and you and I, God being the system and Jesus being less than an atom in comparison. Just look at the sky view on google earth, in the scriptures which came from the creators of the bible the sky was known as the heavens, it shows as much validity as saying the world is flat.

The interesting dynamic in this discussion is that a person does not know what they do not know. What I know is that thousands of people are bound in spiritual bondage by curses brought upon their families by oaths that their fathers and grandfathers through the ages have taken that opened them up to demonic oppression and even death. You Alek will not recognize that because you are enamored by the 'good deeds' these organizations provide to the public. I have witnessed people's lives being set free when they have renounced masonry. No argument can change what I have witnessed.
Our nation was founded upon a faulty foundation and the sin in the mix has left us vulnerable. We are reaping the collapse of justice and truth is fallen in the streets because we have ideals that are other than to commandments to love one another without impartiality. Masons favor Masons to the detriment of others. They have their signals and codes that undermine judgement. As ideal as you would make them sound, the sure foundation is found in God, not man's attempts to create an alternative government.
Nimrod and Semiramis were the first Masons as far as I am concerned. The Bible records Nimrod being a mighty hunter and a builder. He trusted in his brick and mortar to insulate him from the judgement of God. He taught others to do likewise. His masonry was hailed as liberation from God.
Christianity is founded upon the realization there is one God and Creator who is benificent and worthy of ALL praise. Masonry is not Christian, but espouses adoration and recognition of other gods in its tenets and mysteries.
I am thinking of the country Jesus is going to found in Jerusalem in the near future. What a blessing when all kingdoms become kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ!! I love America, but it is on the course of hell and I regret to watch the train wreck that is occurring. Washington prayed to our Lord from whence the strength of our nation came.

I am a born again Christian and a Freemason and I can honestly say that there is no contradiction in my belief that I am saved wholly and solely by Christ's substitutionary sacrifice on the cross for my sins - and every action on my part is wholly detestable to Almighty God - and my understanding of Freemasonry; which merely acts as a method of illustration whereby I can attempt to understand my human condition and therefore my relationship with my creator.
I come from Northern Ireland, and therefore have an acute awareness of the dangers of sectarian practices, so I am privileged to belong to an organisation which allows its members to meet together without the fear which sectarianism brings!
Of course I want to see my Masonic brothers brought to Christ, and to that end I invite them to my church and if we meet outside of Lodge I share my experiences of Christ with them!!
Please don't judge this charitable organisation based on out of date rumour and hoaxes which you will find on the interned. Find a Christian Freemason who you trust and ask him about his experiences!

soon to be ex was involved in masonry
My husband and I met in the military. I found out he was a mason, but had no idea what that was or meant. A christian seargent informed me that this was not of God. I was then not in agreement with this "club", but still married him anyway. There was much masonic literature in my house which I made him get out of the house. Well long story short my life has turned upside down, I am currently in the process of divorcing my husband after 13 years. He left me and our son 4 years ago and did not divorce me before being with another woman and having a child and getting a house with her. I was believing God to restore the marriage but it never happened.
Ever since I have been with him my life has taken a turn for the worst. I could not see this before. I was so inlove and blinded. I constantly go through deppression and can't seem to get rid of it. I wake up feeling sadness, dread, lack of motivation, and I don't even want to leave the house. I feel like a prisoner and my home is the jail. I have a 12 year old son and and I'm afraid of the curse that could get on him or is already on him. I am a christian but struggle severly with surrendering my all to Jesus. I also noticed that in one of the comments made, an individual could not speak in tounges. This is also true for me, I have been desiring to speak in my prayer language for years and have not been able to. This is so frustating that I just gave up on it. I know something is not right with me, I am not my usual self, the way I was before meeting him.
In the military masonry is very popular and I have noticed that many of my friends are part of this group. After reading some info on this subject I think I am oppressed by demonic spirits from mansonry. I'm really trying to make sense of all this but I don't know where to start or who to go to. I have always felt that there was something in my house because of all the sadness and negativity I feel, but no one I spoke to could give me any help. There is something here and I want it gone. There are times when a foul smell comes from the back room and gets into the whole apt. I think there's something in the closet. But when I go in there it looks normal. This sounds so stupid but I am not making this up I don't feel the joy of the Lord like I should as a child of God. Only when I am out of the house I can read the bible and feel some happiness but something just keeps me wanting to stay in the house even though I know this stuff. This does not make any sense to me. My husband and I were somewhat o.k. when we lived in Germany but the minute we hit the states,and moved by his mother, thats when I lost my husband. After getting out of the military I moved to Louisiana with him and his family. (I am originally from N.Y.) I tried to hang on to the marriage but to no avail. We have been seperated more than we have been living together all these years. That christian seargent I mentioned earlier came to the house in Germany to annoit the house, because there was some weird activity in my sons room, (a certain toy would play its music by itself with no one in the room touching it) he came to annoit the house and he did but when he finished he had a sad look on his face and he told us that we had a spirit of division amongst us. I didn't take any action because I didn't know what to do or what this really meant. I believe there is voodo involved in this mess on top of everything else. (from his mother)
At this point I don't care about being with my husband, he's gone and thats it, but I am extremely concerened with the spiritual junk that was left behind and now me and my son are dealing with. Can somebody please help I am so very confused, afraid, and alone.

I hope you get to read this. Do not despair. In response to the below comment I would like to give you some encouragement and answers.

As a true Biblical Christian this is not an ordinance from God. Speaking in tongues had its' time and place for a specific reason. No where in the New Testament is a believer commanded to do what the "charistmatic movement" interpretation of speaking in tongues is.
There is a reason God does not want you involved in such an unscriptural practice which is just another one of the devils ploys to confuse mankind.
I recently did some volunteer work where I attended different assemblies (All true Biblical assemblies. No more or less being added to or taken away from the word of God. By the Book so to speak.)At the meetings were people who spoke different languages. There was always an interpreter/s to translate what was being said so all attending could understand the message in their own language.
With reference to tongues in the Bible:
The Galilaeans were speaking in various languages so that "every man heard them speak in his own language" (Acts chapter 2). The Holy Spirit gave them utterance to deliver the "wonderful works of God" and the Gospel (1 Corinthians chapter 15 verses 1-8 - Saving Gospel told by Paul).
If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your saviour and told Him you do you are saved. Through His death, burial, resurrection and ascension to the right hand of God He overcame any hold that the powers of darkness have for those who believe on Him.
Read your Bible every day. If you have accepted Jesus as your saviour, as an outward profession of your faith and in obedience to God get baptised by full water immersion in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit/Ghost. Fellowship often with true Biblical Christians. Find a Gospel Hall or brethren assembly in your area. Move and make a fresh start if need be to one. Pray (in the language you speak)often whenever you feel and just have an open discussion with the Lord about any burden, help you need, or to give thanks for things you are grateful. He is your best friend and protector. He reassures His followers that He will never leave us or forsake us. Once saved always saved. Our salvation is a gift from God that will never be taken away. No one or anything can pluck us out of His hand once we are saved.
If you are a born again Christian God is always with you and you will have the Holy Spirit indwelling within you. Because of this you will have a direct link to God through Jesus and the Holy Spirit will guide you in your walk with the Lord and discerning the scriptures. You are a temple of the Lord here on earth, an ambassador for Christ, in this world but not of this world. You are protected from Satan but need to be on guard from his many deceptions that may temporarily lead you astray.
Besides being in fellowship meetings please visit this site regularly to help you in your spiritual growth and learning.

Dear Nelly, do not be afraid. The things you describe are typical for what you have faced. Victory in Jesus Christ is possible and is yours for the asking and receiving. You violated scriptural warning about 'do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers' and you have paid a heavy price. Jesus wants to take the curse that came with it, but your heart needs to be fully returned to Him.
Have you confessed your sin to God?
Have you taken responsibility for your actions and repented?

I read through that page, and I must say, it is very thorough! A lot of people are going to be set free from that wonderful information!
But reading through it, I am appalled at how thoroughly this organization has covered just about every stone in order to place some horrible, enslaving curses on people...generations onward. In short, they have done a good job...(or bad, if you will)
I should not be at all surprised, I suppose, because over the years, I too have read all I could find on Freemasonry, in order to educate myself and not be fooled/deceived. The more I have read, the more I see that one just can not learn all there is. But I did learn enough to know without even the minutest of doubt that this organization is evil in the extreme! I would say that this is truly the abyss of all wickedness! Egregiously bad!
I am thankful in my heart to Christ that to the best of my knowledge my dad, grandfathers, etc were not involved in the organization.
Of course, my dad and grandparents are gone now, so there is no way of ever finding out. But I would think such curses passed on down through the generations would be obvious and glaring...

Freemasonry on my fathers side
I am a forty something female and have had nothing to do with freemasonry personally. I love christ and always have. My father and my grand father were masons and I do not know if it goes back any further. I am not sure how far up the ranks they both went yet. Both of them have had a lot of misery in their lives though. My life though has been a night mare. I have experienced every kind of abuse and have almost been murdered. My unborn child was murdered by her father. I lost the memory of all of my past, got married eventually and when my marriage broke down my memory began to come back to me in flash backs. I have suffered from post traumatic disorder (like soldiers experience after they return from the war) and depression since then. I have been told by professionals that I am lucky to be still functioning well and not in a mental hospital. I have done many self development courses etc. and had lost my way in regards to christ in some ways but never in my heart.
I only heard about this curse two nights ago from a christian friend and have been researching today on the internet when I found this posting. I find it very scary to think that my life and family can be so significantly affected by the possibility of a curse. I am worried about my brother and his family as he is a first born male of a Freemason. I have heard that this is a problem though I have not found this through my research. He lives in poverty and has all the ability not to but can not do otherwise through depression. His two children are alright so far but I am concerned for their safety and well being also. I have been living with my parents since my marriage broke down years ago and it has been a very long process to get to health and this truth. My father is not affectionate but appears to be caring and then flips to being totally irrational. I have been told of a christian who is a health professional that can help me lift this curse etc. and I am intending to see her soon. A curse is the only thing that makes sense when observing my life as there is too much pain to share with you here. I have studied counseling and understand how you create much of you circumstances however, this is all beyond my behavior and thoughts as I see it.

I would really advise you to go see a Re-born Holy Spirit filled counseller that can help you in your fight for deliverance from these devils.
Yes, I get angry. I am currently 38 years old and have been living under all the freemasonry curses all my life. I was a baby of 4 months old when the first attempt was made on taking my life by my father. I was 2 years old when I was raped by my grandfather, the second attempt to take my life was at the age of 3 and so the story goes on.
All my life I knew that I am living a life that is not mine and I could not understand why. I ended up looking into wicca in order to get answers. Finally God answered me and told me the truth about who I am and where I came from and why I was in the situation that I am in. He delivered me last week from all these devils and spirits that kept me in a jail that was not mine. It was never meant to be.
You see - I am not even my fathers child. I am an illegitimate child because my mother had a relationship with another man while being married. But because I was born into the family the curses came down on me. And of course because he hated me.
And I can tell you from my own experience, that it definitely is a curse. Not one of your own doing and not all your circumstances are due to what you have done. Most of it is because you have been born under this curse. The first thing that happens is confusion. And that is the worst. You want to do things and you know how to do it in your heart of heart, but the moment you get to the point of doing it, it seems as if the information dissapears. Then depression sets in, you really at times loose consiousness even it is only for a few seconds. They steal and steal and steal and steal.
I have seen a 100% turnaround in my own life in just 7 days since my deliverance from these devils and strongholds. I can now talk to people about God where before I was not able to, no matter how much I wanted to. They seemed to glue my mouth together and at the same time confuse me so badly that I never could figure out what the truth was and what was the lie. And most times - I ended up believing the lie because I could not make the destinction. That is the first effect of this curse - Spiritual blindness. But God opened my eyes by revealing the truth about my origins and restoring my memory of my childhood, of which I could absolutely not remember a single thing. Only from the age of 10 could I remember some things.
So I praise and thank God for healing me, and I know that there will be healing for you and your whole family as I there will be for mine. That is why I was born into the family, because God needed someone on the inside to start the fight and loose the family from this spritual blindness and withcraft curses.
I will be praying for you and your family.
God loves you more than you can imagine and He loves your family as well. And there is hope. Where there is breath , there is always hope. Don't give up the fight. We will win in the end through the might of the Holy Spirit. There is freedom for all of us.

My grandfather was a Grand master
I need prayer - I did the renouncing free masonry last night. My grandfather who is passed away now was a Grand High master of all things and both my mother and myself suffer from asthma and a variety of other allergies/stomach disorders described as a result of the curse of freemasonry.
What tops it all is that my dad was involved in heavy occult and weegie bords and treasures all of my grandfathers grand master stuff (my fathers side stuff was sorted out at my time of salvation as it was addressed and they were broken at the time of salvation)
I used to clean a masonic lodge (before i was saved though) I had to hoover the temple and was one of the only poeple allowed in!
The lord has prepared me in advance for this and i new something was coming as over the last few years/months has given me words about healing and even the Boaz name and my wife has been having visions of a cord around my neck when she has been at church also she was getting visions of the compass all of which we have only just found out about from the article about unmasking freemasonry on this website.
I have found from this information that all of these things which i suffer from come from and understand that they originate from the Curse of Freemasonry:

I just wanted to post this to urge other christians who dont believe its possible to be tampered with by evil spirits. Even though the Holy spirit has sealed us - we still dwell in our earthly bodies here on earth and there is still doors that can be opened. Dont ignore how important you are in the spiritual struggle that is happening. you will be prime target at some point and need to understand that we all have specific weaknesses that are used as levarage. If you can understand the leverage then you can ask Jesus to SPECIFICALLY heal you. IT needs to be highlighted and brought into the light in order to be healed.
Just briefly:
I am a spirit filled christian I talk in Tongues alot every day when i pray and am grounded in Christ and in his abounding grace. When i received the Holy spirit after I accepted Christ into my life (actually after i trusted in christ to take away my sins instead of trying to earn my way to god with good works!) I was baptised in a local river with an amazing grace filled fellowship (which i am truly thankful for as christ knows). I read the bible from a very early age but never understood that it is the person of Jesus christ that is salvation rather than good works etc so I fell away and became bitter.
When I originally came to christ I hated all the talk about being accepted as righteous because in my mind all the things i had done were off my own back and i wouldnt accept praise from god unless i felt like i had earned it. boy did that change!
My brother in christ that came into my life overcame my pride and i fell at christs knees and accepted his gift.
I know now that it was the same spirits from the freemasonry curse that were involved in blinding and muting me because when i originally came to christ my mouth was trying to talk in tongues but nothing came out and also I had the classic Freemasonry Lie about providing your good works as the atonement. One evening my brother in christ prayed for satan to release my tongue and actually touched my throat and the next morning I talked in tongues - and i mean for a long time for the whole day. I still do every day when I pray though maybe not 24hrs.
The reason I write this is because my brother in christ had no knowledge of this free masonry but he was alerted (this is about 5 years ago) to a problem around my throat area (the tow rope described in the witchraft of free masonry).
I sincerely write to those others who have any history of Freemasonry to ask it out in Jesus Name to be thrown out - go through the specific list and renounce 1 by 1 the curses placed upon your generation by your ancestor. Make sure another christian is there because it is full on and you wont enjoy reading some of the curses out as you renounce them.
Cut it off as Jesus will act when you ask him. God will cut the noose around your neck and take the blindfold off.
God wants to provide for you. He is not the oppressor and wont clothe you with instruments of pain but wants to clothe you and comfort you with clothes of righteousness and peace.
Jesus Lord. The Bright Morning Star. Thankyou for who you are. Release those others from the fowlers snare. Unloose the chords of bondage and bless those who come to you with these fowl forces of evil that are organised in Freemasonry and rebuke the evil spirits that seek to burden your poeple.
I pray that you throw your line out and bring other poeple caught in the snare of freemasonry. Draw them out as if they were being drawn out of the very pit.

My Grandfather was a Grand Master
I am very interested in this article. My Grandfather on my mother's side was also a Mason. I don't know how high he went though. I just know that at one point he said that he had gone high enough. My mother's half-brother was a 33rd degree. Then he became a Shriner. I don't know if that would affect me though. I often wondered whether there was a curse of Freemasonry and I think that there is. I need prayer too. My life has been pretty messy. I am bipolar. I don't know where that came from. I think it's in the family on my father's side. My mother thinks she is psychic though. I've been messed up with evil following me my whole life. The Left-Hand Path has attacked me on more than one occasion. It was almost as if they were seeking me out-this witchcraft. I dabbled in the occult a little earlier in my life but renounced it. I guess like many teenagers do. I don't know. How much of this came from my grandfather's involvement in Freemasonry? It's really hard to tell, because I have had problems mentally as well, am divorced once and remarried to a Jewish man who wants nothing to do with my faith. I have two boys with him. One is very disrespectful, but not totally unmanageable. He seems to be receptive to the Christian faith. The other boy as well. They need prayer, too. I know the Bible says that the sins of the fathers are visited upon the children unto the third and fourth generations. Thank you for your prayer. I will pray for you too.

I used to have many demons through witchcraft curses from my dad's side. I have been free for 7 years now(ish). i was delivered through renouncing all occult involvement and most of the curses and stronghold were so deep it took the Holy Spirit to really show me before i could break them.
I would like to recommend "Blessing or curse by Derek Prince" to deal with curses and also
"War on the Saints - the full unabridged version by jessis penn-lewis and evan roberts" (can be downloaded for free from apostasy now.com) to learn how to see and overcome all of the enemies attacks and so subtle deceptions.
I used to be a schitzophrenic since childhood and find that most christians don't understand spiritual warfare enough. those who suffer the most can really help others out there in real need.

Freemasonry.
Freemasonry is the continuation of the mystery religions.
This fact is confessed by Gen Albert Pike in his book “Morals and Dogma.”
Pike remains one of the most famous freemasons in history.
This means that freemasons are involved in the same idolatry as Israel were, when God handed them over to their enemies as punishment for their sin.

One of the main weapons of the enemy is to strip Christians of the knowledge of the power and victory that is ours through Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Specific repentance may be needed to unlock areas of our lives to which Satan holds dominion. Pray that the Holy Spirit will show you those areas, renounce any involvement in whatever sinful practices you have been involved in.
The Blood of Jesus has cancelled out our debt. Hallelujah.

I've recently found out my grandfater was involved in Freemasonry, however not "too involved", if that makes any difference. I ask the same questions as the anonymous poster on 2 March 2008. If anybody could provide me with answers to the questions Anonymous raised (as copied below) I would appreciate it.
Does God not wash us whiter than snow? Is His love and foregivenes not enough. Will His blessings until the 1000's generation not be stronger than the curse till the 3rd or the 4th? Does this mean that I will have to find out every sin ever committed in my family, How many generations????

Freemasons?
My friend became a free mason a wile ago we both work for the same company, be fore he became a memmber of this cult, he was doing terrible in business. when he became a member he was blowing every one out of the water with his sales. I feel that He has taken up aligiance with this cult and that is the out come of his success. What can I do for my friend to see the truth that Jesus is the only way? thanks Michael!

Is there such a thing as a Generational Curse?
Can such a curse be connected to Freemasonry?
If there is, then my question is.
If there were three siblings in a family, should it to be understood, the Generational Curse would affect each of the siblings equally?
Or can the Curse affect only one of the siblings, making his life miserable, while the other two siblings have normal lives of prosperity, health, ect.
If something, as Freemasonry can cause a Generational Curse, it seems logical, all three of the siblings would make up the generation.
If there truly is a Generational Curse, would all three of the siblings, pass this Curse on to their Children, (the next Generation?)
Or once again would it only be passed on by the one sibling that seemed to be Cursed in the first place?
Where can the teachings be found within the bible on Generational Curses?
