Demons and Fallen Angels

Demons are disembodied spirits that are at work virtually everywhere in the world today. They are evil in nature, and are obedient to Satan, their ruler. In the Bible they are also known as “evil spirits” or “unclean spirits”.

There are a number of theories about their origin, but the Bible doesn’t make it absolutely clear. Many believe they are fallen angels who fell when Satan, formerly Lucifer, rebelled against the Lord God in heaven. This theory has the problem that demons seem to be earth-bound spirits that walk, and cannot fly, unlike angels. There are fallen angels, who presently occupy positions of influence and authority over the earth in a kind of Satanic hierarchy, and are referred to in the Bible as “principalities and powers” (Ephesians 6:12). Earth bound demons are the “foot soldiers” in Satan’s kingdom, and they are the ones we deal with on a day to day basis, whether we realise it or not.

Some speculate that demons are the spirits of former inhabitants of earth who rebelled against God – possibly the results of the offspring of fallen angels and women in the days before the flood (see Genesis 6). The Bible doesn’t tell us and we don’t have to know. What matters is to know how to deal with them, and overcome them, as they are everywhere, and they enjoy making our lives miserable, if they can.

It may be that when God judged the snake in Genesis 3 and said it would crawl on its belly that this translated into a loss of power for many fallen angels. Its impossible to say with total biblical authority.

Characteristics of demons

They have all the characteristics of personality. They are evil, malicious, deceptive and never to be trusted. We can see that demons possess the following:

“Now there was a man in their synagogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out, saying, “Let us alone! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? Did you come to destroy us? I know who you are – the Holy One of God!” (Mark 1:23, 24)

Demons have knowledge and are able to come up with things to say. The knowledge that demons have explains the source of knowledge at work with “psychics” and other occultists. It explains the knowledge of past events and places that supposedly confirms the false doctrine of reincarnation.

I remember one time while in the U.S.A. a young man I was with suddenly turned to me with only the white of his eyes showing, and a strange voice said to me , “I know who you are”. Demons have knowledge.

“When an unclean spirit goes out of a man, he goes through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, ‘I will return to my house from which I came.’ ” (Luke 11:24)

I remember as a child saying things to myself like “What will we do now?”. It was as if the demons in me were having some kind of conference. Demons are self-willed beings who seek to impose their will on the will of man.

“You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe – and tremble!” (James 2:19).

Demons definitely fear God and God’s power. On the other hand, they have pleasure in seeing people suffer. Anyone who is that way is so because they identify with the demons in them.

Identity and Self-Awareness

“Then He asked him, ‘What is your name?’ And he answered, saying, “My name is Legion; for we are many.”

Demons usually operate in groups. They know who they are and they know their names and functions. Sometimes demons change their functions. One spirit said, “I will go out and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets.” (2 Chronicles 18:21).

Sudden and major changes of events can cause some demons to change their function or activity. Most of the time, however, they continue with what they have been able to do successfully in the lives of people.

Capacity to Speak

Many of the above examples reveal the capacity of demons to speak. Sometimes they use a human mouth to speak through, but most of the time, they operate by planting their thoughts in the minds of people. The subtlety of this is that they usually do this in such a way as to suggest that the the thought from them was really from the person himself! For example, a demon may cause the thought to come in your mind, “I don’t feel like praising God”, or “I wonder what is on T.V.?”.

Demons are real. Their activity accounts for many of the things that are happening today.

Demons are spirit beings with the principle characteristics of personality. Some are stronger than others, but all of them are totally corrupt and evil in nature. They never do any good. Any apparent benefit obtained through them via occultism is always just something to gain trust so they can do you and others far greater harm in the future. They are unsatisfied beings who desire to use and abuse you. They don’t feel satisfied without a body to inhabit and through which to express their evil natures. God, on the other hand, is the source of goodness and life and who desires to give of Himself to you, and see you grow up to become like Jesus Himself.

Don’t allow demons to get the upper hand in your life. Let us do all we can to destroy their influence by drawing near to God and letting God fill us and show us the way.

What do YOU think?

  1. We see throughout the Bible that the demons or devils (as it is written in the KJV) are subject to God and there are many examples of this and we accept this readily…

Mat 12:28 But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out the demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you [before you expected it].
Luk 4:41 And demons even came out of many people, screaming and crying out, You are the Son of God! But He rebuked them and would not permit them to speak, because they knew that He was the Christ (the Messiah).

…but something we don’t always accept is that the demons are also subject to believers…

Luk 9:1 THEN JESUS called together the Twelve [apostles] and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases,

Mar 9:38 John said to Him, Teacher, we saw a man who does not follow along with us driving out demons in Your name, and we forbade him to do it, because he is not one of our band [of Your disciples].

‘Butterfly’ to set your book straight, wherever you may get your information from, Satan himself and ALL demons shudder with terror at the thought of our Almighty God:

Jam 2:19 (Amplified Bible) You believe that God is one; you do well. So do the demons believe and shudder [in terror and horror such as make a man’s hair stand on end and contract the surface of his skin]!

You still have time – Repent!

    Jesus loves you

    • We see a lot of things happening in the world today that seems unnatural, and threatens to change they very nature of our countries and how we live. In many ways it seems the minds of men have changed from our traditional beliefs, morals, values, and traditions. Its disarming and we seem to suffer culture shock right in our own communities. It seems so all encompassing that for the most part we dont know what to do. I would suggest that our first move must be to turn back to God! Seek his counsel, strength, and direction or we will lose all that is valuable to us including our life and the lives of our loved ones! The change upon us is sinister so we need to make a stand for God, country, and loved ones now before it is too late.

  2. Jesus_Iz_Lord says:

Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” (Luke 10:19).

  3. I have studied demons, possession and exorcism from a number of differing viewpoints for about thirty years. I have been attacked, oppressed, and influenced by them to varying degrees, though never “possessed”. at least I DON’T THINK SO. I don’t think so, becasue I think I have been divinely protected at least to some extent since I was fourteen and answered my first altar call. Yet and all, despite shortlived bliss and happiness in Jesus in my teens, I managed to screw my life up just as bad as any other person born in the 50s and enticed by all the occultism rampant in the USA since then. I usually explain that I took a very circuitous route to the cross.

Demons are real. Evil spirits are real, and ghosts are real too. Seances work, and the spirits of the dead can be called up. Of this, I have firsthand knowledge, and it is also demonstrated scripturally with the account of Saul’s little tryst with the witch of Endor, and the ghost of Samuel. God is merciful to have spared my worthless hide until I was led by the Holy Spirit into the truth of my sins and convicted to repentance.

I have read extensively on the subject, but I must recommend, for someone seeking the rest of the story, the Book of Enoch. While this book was left out of the Bible, Christ, and 1st century Jews recognized it as scripture. I have to give it a lot of credence, and personally feel that keeping this book out of the Bible was a satanic coup, and also that its rediscovery in these last days is at least part of the prophecy imparted to Daniel about the increase of knowledge in the last days.

Enoch gives the names of the twenty angel chiefs who participated in the taking of daughters of men and explains that there were two hundred in all who rebelled. He explains tha these angels were enchained after the flood until the judgment and that the spirits of their dead offspring, the Nephilim giants, would roam the earth, as being neither angel nor human, they were irredeemable EVIL SPIRITS.

SATAN/LUCIFER is NOT among this group of rebellious angels or “Watchers”. He is still roaming freely. Other fallen angels as well are not enchained. So today, when humans encounter these principalities and powers, they are dealing with the spirits of dead nephilim or fallen angels. These can usually manipulate their environment and humans. They are the likely source of most “poltergeist” activity, as well as more serious demonic oppression and possession.

Ghosts, the spirits of dead humans, for some reason, have not entered Sheol, or Hell, nor Paradise. The New Testament seems to indicate that upon death, the human spirit is either accepted into Paradise immediately, which is kind of a staging area for the saved believers, or sent to Sheol, a staging area for souls awaiting judgment who were not saved or did not accept the testimony of Jesus Christ during His time there after the crucifixion and before His resurrection. The question is WHY are they not in either place, when humans seem to have no choice to avoid Sheol if they are not saved, and would certainly not abandon Paradise if they were?

The best answer I can come up with is that these humans still had the bloodline of the Nephilom within them. Not all Nephilim died in the flood and examples of giantism and extra digits – 6 toes and fingers- persist to this day. Someone who has Nephilim DNA in them would still be redeemable, but if they did not accept Christ, upon death, would suffer the same fate as the direct offspring of the unholy unions, i.e., to roam the earth. But the fascinating thing about them is that while they appear all over the planet, they seem oblivious to the world around them and the living. They seem to just repeat the motions they went through in life, and you may walk through a few of them every day. Demons and evil spirits, conversely, deliberately interact with people when given the chance.

The moral of the story is DO NOT MESS WITH ANY KIND OF NECROMANCY, but if you encounter a communicating spirit, realize that it is NOT Uncle Fred, but an evil spirit or demon that had had thousands of years to observe us and could imitate Uncle Fred well enough to fool anybody not in possession of this knowledge. If it actually was the spirit of Uncle Fred, it might walk by and disappear, but it will not try to communicate with you or influence its environment.

Regarding voices: the evil spirits and demons are always raising a cacophany of blasphemy, and if you are hearing it, you need to cry to Jesus to silence them and rebuke them in the name of Jesus. Even though they may be yelling READ YOUR BIBLE, remember that the apostles themselves were harassed by demons proclaiming that these were men of God until they were silenced. Hopefully you can get some sleep. ALSO – DO NOT USE HALLUCINOGENIC DRUGS or anything chemically similar, because this will open the portals in your mind to receive their rantings. Don’t ask me how I know.

I pray this informatin is useful to someone out here and invite you to write me if you would like further dialogue at [email protected].

Warpspeed – Thank you very much for your wise warning regarding the spirit world, I agree completely that such things are not be taken with a cavalier or flippant attitude. Regarding the quote of yours I copied above – Which book of Enoch do you refer to? There are two from what I understand. Also the interesting thing is that at least one passage of Enoch is in the Bible already since Jude quotes it.
I have not before heard of Daniel’s reference to last days in relation to the book of Enoch – very interesting thought. I do confess to having conflicting feelings about how / why God would allow His inspired word to be lost for so many ages, but then if for the purpose of the Daniel prophecy, hmmmm… The cannon has clearly (in human thought, I mean) been closed and I doubt seriously it will ever be modified. What are your thoughts? Thank you again for sharing and teaching and encouraging!

    • Warpspeed,

I found your post very interesting on several points.

I have also begun reading the Book of Enoch, which IS in the Ethiopian bible canon, so it has not been rejected completely, and I have found it to be very enlightening and helpful. Because of some strange events in my life, I have been extensively reading and studying, putting together information from historical information, religious texts, new scientific and archeological findings, etc., to form a hypothesis that explains the events, while not contradicting anything stated in the Bible (they, in fact, SUPPORT the Bible as literal, factual history).

First, however, I want to clear up one major discrepancy in your conclusions you have drawn through your experiences and study.

      You wrote:

You are correct in stating that demons are real and evil spirits are real. Ghosts, however, are NOT real. They are an illusion created by demons to cause us to believe in the ability of mediums and psychics to communicate with the dead. Saul didn’t see Samuel, he saw someone PRETENDING to be Samuel. As you stated, what you may think is uncle Fred “is NOT Uncle Fred, but an evil spirit or demon.” Yes, it’s a demon, or someone under the direction of a demon spirit. Their knowledge of “uncle Fred” was probably gained by entering into the person who thinks they’re seeing the “ghost” and prompting them to remember details about their loved one, which the demon then uses in his/her “act.” Once a person dies, they’re dead and they are heard from no more on this earth. They may be allowed to offer a parting “goodbye” on their way up, I don’t know, but once they die, unless they’re “taken” like Enoch and Elijah were, they either go to heaven, if they are saved by the grace of Jesus, or they go to one of two holding places where they await judgment (the Book of Enoch). Ghosts do NOT roam the earth. That is why God warns not to seek the counsel of a spiritist or medium, and it is one important TRUTH to remember when forming any conclusions about who or what demons and evil spirits are. The “spirits” you say you may “walk through” at various times are simply energies being manipulated by the demons, which makes you sense something passing through you, or feeling a sudden temperature change, once again to trick you into believing that dead spirits walk the earth. If you “see” one, you may be seeing a holographic projection or a vision implanted by a living, breathing demon. Remember also that the fallen angels had great knowledge of advanced science, math, physics, chemistry, engineering, etc., which they taught to their descendents. The demons LAUGH at ghosthunters calling out to dead spirits.

Some of what I’m about to write may seem like a bunch of sci-fi hooey to some people (and excuse me if I use a lot of film references, but that’s the business I’m in), but then I came to the conclusion that a lot of sci-fi is based in some kind of fact, since most sci-fi fans will pick apart and ridicule any movie or story that can’t be explained SOMEHOW by scientific evidence–ask any Trekkie or Superman enthusiast, and they will give you scientific hypotheses for every unusual occurrence or techno gadget. I, too, believe that descendents of the Nephilim are present in the world today, although not as tall as they once were. Perhaps one of them was the inspiration for Superman, and the story just “took off” (pardon the pun) from there. Some may even be your neighbors or co-workers. I also believe, however, that many of these descendents are the demons we are fighting against. They probably will have beautiful features, being descendants of angels. Many have probably learned about the spirit ways from their fathers (or mothers) through the generations, while some may not know why they have unusual abilitiies, and others may not know they have unusual abilities at all.

The Bible states that “The Nephilim [or giants] were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men, and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.” (Gen. 6:4 NAS). So they were on the earth before and after the flood. I had previously thought of Greek and Roman mythology as fiction, but perhaps there is some bit of truth to the mythological “little g” gods, who were men of renown in their day, who exalted themselves as gods, which made God angry. Myth stories tell of how many of the gods would seduce and take any woman they wanted and those women would produce children (the Nephilim mentioned in Genesis?), who were also men (or women) with many supernatural abilities. “Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of the land, and daughters were born to them, that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.” (Gen. 6:1-2 NAS). They all died, of course, because God shortened the life span of man, and the Nephilim were not immune to that decree, as they were also human: “Then the Lord said, ‘My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, because he also is flesh; nevertheless his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.” (Gen. 6:3 NAS). What’s interesting is that the descendents of Noah continued to live long lives, although they averaged shorter lives over the years: Noah lived 950 years, his son Shem lived 600 years, his son Arpachshad lived 438 years, his son Shelah lived 433 years, his son Eber lived 464 years, his son Peleg lived 239 years, his son Reu lived 309 years, his son Serug lived 230 years, his son Nahor lived 148 years, his son Terah lived 205 years, his son Abram (Abraham) lived 175 years. So, perhaps God was referring to the Nephilim when he gave a lifespan of 120 years. After the Exodus of the Israelites from Egypt, when they spied out the Promised Land, the spies saw the Nephilim (or Anakim, the sons of Anak) in that land. Indeed, Og king of Bashan, who was a remnant of the Rephaim giants, had an iron bedstead that measured about 13.5 ft long x 6 ft wide. (Deut. 3:11 NAS). But they were all overthrown by the Israelites except in three places: “There were no Anakim left in the land of the sons of Israel; only in Gaza, in Gath, and in Ashdod some remained.” (Joshua 11:22 NAS). This supports the theory that some of the remnant of the descendants of the fallen angels survived, and through intermarriage over the generations, many no longer grew up to be “giants” but became normal height, albeit still possessing unusual abilities. Who knows, it may also be possible that more angels have fallen over the years, and they are sent here to earth to live out their days until they die and await judgment. If so, they would be very angry knowing that they could never go to heaven again, as is the fate of all the original angels who followed Lucifer and left the glory of heaven to follow their lusts and pride.

I believe the demon spirits enter people by way of their eyes (I have experienced this personally), and that once that connection has been made, they send thoughts to influence and deceive, usually in a negative way. The eyes could be likened to black holes that suck you in, having the effect of alcohol in that it lowers your natural defenses, and gives them access. Some may then use hypnosis to create images in a person’s mind or make them act erratically or believe irrationally (this may occur immediately, or may be triggered at some future time – a common hypnotists tool). This hypothesis can be backed up by scientific research studies on telepathy and hypnosis carried out by mainstream and government researchers, as revealed in several documentaries on the History and Discovery Channels, and others, as well as YouTube videos of actual hypnotists demonstrating their tricks.

Some demons have the ability over time to move people’s limbs and speak through their mouths (the Bible describes several instances of people being tormented in this way). This tells me that they have access to the neurosystem, and because they know where to direct the limbs, they must have the ability to “see” what the other person sees (the demons would say through the people they possessed that they recognized Jesus). This may be where the term “Watchers” stems from, and may look similar to what you see in the movie, “Being John Malkovich,” except for the portal they use to enter him (and I don’t really recommend the movie unless you watch it solely from a research standpoint; there are many scenes that are truly offensive). For the lesser demons, who may not know WHY they have these abilities, this “puppetry” may all seem like a fun game to them… until the higher, meaner demons connect to them, directing THEM, and in so doing, connect to all the people THEY have connected to, thereby building up a “network” or “hierarchy” of demons. The Bible says they will go about “deceiving and being deceived,” so that supports this theory.

I have seen video evidence of a lesser demon using his eyes to try to ensnare a street preaching team. Once it appeared he had taken the cameraman, he looked directly into the camera and did it – not full-on black, but pupils dilated to the point that no iris was showing at all – probably thinking that whoever saw it would then become his puppet. He was probably cocky enough to think that the whole world would eventually be his. Thankfully, it doesn’t work through a video or snapshot, and simply exposed the demon for who he was. Coincidentally–or not–, the preacher was announcing how they had prayed that they would encounter the most unrepentent, evil sinner to hear their preaching. Be careful what you pray for.

For some background, I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior at a very young age, and have continually strived to live a life pleasing to God. After a time in my teens where I felt a lot of anger and resentment, I rededicated my life to Him. I have never smoked, have never abused drugs, don’t drink more than maybe once every 5 years at social occasions, don’t swear, and don’t dabble in the occult. Even with a solid background and upbringing in Christianity, and trying to live a good Christian life (not always perfectly, but who’s perfect?), in my late 20s I encountered a demon who, unlike most stories you hear, confronted me in broad daylight in a parking lot. I wasn’t sure what happened at the time, but knew that I was missing at least a couple of minutes from my life right then and there, and things changed dramatically for me, although I clung to my faith in Jesus always. It wasn’t until many years later, when I encountered at least two more demons at different times–during the day, even–and possibly some heavenly angels appearing as everyday people, as well as some other supernatural events, that I was able to figure out what had happened. I was a crew member on a film set with the first guy, and all throughout the shoot had thought that he was very cocky and sleazy, though he was a good-looking man with dark brown eyes and a full head of curly dark hair. He was married, yet he flirted obscenely with all the women, and his wife didn’t seem to mind. I rejected his advances, and I guess he decided to get back at me. I THINK he’s dead now, because about six years ago I had a dream where I was fighting off a demon who was messing with me and a friend, and I woke up screaming for him to “GO AWAY!!! AHHHHHH!!!” As I woke up screaming, I could feel a darkness exiting from my mouth. It was weird. I should note that at that time I still did not know that what I was experiencing was demonic oppression, but that dream sure stayed with me.

That’s enough discussion for now. I hope this sheds more light on the subject for you and for all who read this. The most important thing is to remember that there are no spirits of dead people roaming the earth. Remembering that FACT while researching unusual or supernatural phenomena, you can then come to a conclusion of TRUTH and weed out all occult theories. Reading your Bible is one of the best ways to silence any unclean thoughts, and it is possible that the Holy Spirit is the one yelling that over all the other thoughts. Heed THAT voice, because it is directing you to the Word of God.

    • God Bless all of you

    • Very good composition airspeed. I do need to point out to you that regardless of what you seen or heard the dead can neither speak or be conjured. When people think they are being haunted, getting messages from lived ones, or seeing ghosts, what they are in rack experiencing are demons! Lets remember that Jesus clarified that the dead are dead, and know nothing! Also when we pray we pray to God through Jesus. The Bible tells us that we have only two interceptors with God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit! To pray to/through any other is a dead end. Mary, the prophets, and any other entity who has passed on is, “dead and know nothing!”

  4. concerning article stating not all demons are bound, might I suggest the binding is of a spiritual nature; they can never repent and be saved as we can, that is their binding, never to partake of Gods grace. They are all most active in trying to prevent God`s word from being carried out, eg the Holocaust; without the Jewish people, scripture would be meaningless. Sometimes you come across people who seem to be bound in darkness, who love evil, under the influence in many cases, perhaps all, of dark (bound) forces. Just a thought, or maybe perception. . .

  5. they tell me im going to hell and to read my bible and go to church or else i will have to go to hell could they be demons??

    • MelodyCat says:

First of all I have never heard of cruel voices telling people to get saved. Not in the Bible and it is totally out of Character for God.

Also may I point out God doesn’t talk to people in many voices. He speaks only as ONE Being.

Second thing is you will not suffer from either reading your Bible or going to a good Church that is not of course led by a False Shepherd/Pastor. Unfortunately Satan has put some evil men and women in the church teaching a false gospel to lead people astray.

The GOOD NEWS is that if you SEEK God the Bible tells us you will find Him and you will be saved. How do you get saved. In the book of Romans it says the following:-

RO 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile–the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”

Praying that the Lord will enable you to come to repent and know Jesus died for your sins to bring you forgiveness and eternal life in Heaven. Amen

Here is the EXTRA GOOD NEWS. When you do this Jesus says you will not be able to be decieved and when you go looking for a church to attend you will know the difference between someone preaching God’s Truth and a Preacher who is teaching LIES.

2TI 3:10 You, however, know all about my teaching, my way of life, my purpose, faith, patience, love, endurance, 11 persecutions, sufferings–what kinds of things happened to me in Antioch, Iconium and Lystra, the persecutions I endured. Yet the Lord rescued me from all of them. 12 In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted, 13 while evil men and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it, 15 and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 16 All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.
  6. Sweetheart Butterfly says:

There are no demons who are afraid of God just humans kk

    • warrior daughter says:

Demons are afraid of God …..They recognize Christ as the Savior of the world while not all men do ….Now there was a man in their synogogue with an unclean spirit. And he cried out , ‘”Leave us alone ! What have we to do with You, Jesus of Nazareth? did you come to destroy us? I know who you are–the Holy One of God”….Mark 1:23,24

Demons also know that their time is short here on earth and they know their destiny…
When He had come to the other side to the country of the Gergenesenes there came to Him two demon possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way. And suddenly they cried out saying, “What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?’ Mathew 8:28,29

When the name of Jesus who is not only the Son of God but also God is used in deliverance demons must submit to God…..They fear God and what He can do and will do to them….

    • Heather Hallucination says:

it is reasonable to think that demons would be afraid of God, since he is the one that casts down judgement upon them and seems to be their weakness and ending in this world. That being said, if they are under the control of Satan(Lucifer) you could assume they are also under his protection. Which is why it always seems so hard to cast them out using the “Will of God” as some might say. Yet, if you look at this logically and look at each side of this situation you can see that, yes demons are afraid of God. But demons are also protected by their leader, Satan, because if they weren’t then there would be a small amount of demons on earth and that would do Satan no good. So, yes they are frightened but not as frightened as some might think they are. Even God cant destroy every demon. NO one or one thing could ever be that powerful. (from a nonbeliever)

      • The only reason demonic strongholds can stand in today’s world at all is because of the ignorance and disobedience of the church today. Where Christians know God’s will, God’s ways, and do it, they keep destroying Satan’s work progressively.

  7. I would like to know if Angels, bad angels ever inhabit a humans body?

  8. I used to care for my adoptive grandmother, who saw people no one else could see. My adoptive father and the rest of the family just assumed that she went senile, but my husband and I always felt that the beings she saw were real. I sensed that they were demons, since they always frightened her. It seemed to me like they were waiting to take her away. They never said anything to her, but just stood around. Sometimes she would see someone next to me. It was always frightening for me when she would tell me that she could see a man right next to me. She had been Christian as a child, but rejected Jesus Christ in her old age. I wish I had told her what I eventually felt–that the beings she saw were demons, waiting to take her to hell unless she repented. God gives us so many signs that He is real and the hereafter is real, but we can be so blind! I have read about NDEs where people remember to call out to Jesus while in hell and are rescued by Him. I sure hope that she did and is already in heaven, at His side.

Are demons still with us today? Or is Satan the only one prowling around like a roaring lion? How do we work around Jude v:6? Why is Satan the only demonic or fallen angel exposed as the worm in Rev?

    • Satan is a limited creature who can only be in one place at a time. He relies on his network of evil spirits and human servants to get his works done.

Jude 6 refers to certain angels which are bound in hell awaiting judgment. Not all of satan’s angels are in this category. Only certain of them fell into this judgment. There are way more demons than there are people, especially at that time.

      • Yes he relies on the Kings he has assigned over different kingdoms, the master spirits and the , powers which are order of angels or his fallen angels. Satan is very limited, he influences and has Kings over different areas. The spirit of Legion also covers certain regions. For detailed description into the demonic world I suggest you watch Katie Souza on youtube and she will teach you all about them.
