Confessions on the Power of God’s Word

All the Scriptures are given by the inspiration of God. The Scriptures are profitable for doctrine. The Scriptures are profitable for reproof. The Scriptures are profitable for correction. The Scriptures are profitable for instruction in righteousness. I need the Scriptures to make me complete as a man of God, thoroughly equipped for EVERY good work.

(2 Timothy 3:16,17)

This Book of the Law shall not depart from my mouth. I shall meditate in it day and night, that I may observe to do according to all that is written in it. Then I will make my way prosperous, and then I will have good success.

(Joshua 1:8)

Your word I have hidden in my heart, That I might not sin against You.

(Psalm 119:11)

I abide in Jesus' word and am his disciple indeed.

(John 8:31)

I shall know the truth, and the truth shall make me free.

(John 8:32)

My delight is in the Word of the Lord, and in God's Word I meditate day and night.

(Psalm 1:2)

I shall be like a tree planted by rivers of water. I shall bear fruit in season. My leaf shall not wither. Whatever I do shall prosper.

(Joshua 1:8)

May we all come to know the truth.
    Matthew 7

13Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

14Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

15Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

21Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeJohn 5:37-40 (King James Version)

37And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.

38And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

th the will of my Father which is in heaven.
