Some people Desperately Want Forgiveness – Who will tell them?

Study or Go – How long should We Wait?

“Do you realise that we are only told one time in the Bible to wait – and again I’m talking New Testament – one time. Jesus said, “You wait in Jerusalem until you receive the promise of My Father. Ain’t that right? Now, someone says, “See we ought to wait! No, no, if you’re going […]

The Way of Life of an Apostle

For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last, as men condemned to death; for we have been made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and to men. 1 Corinthians 4:9
We are fools for Christ’s sake, but you are wise in Christ! We are weak, but you are strong! You are distinguished, but we are dishonored!
To the present hour we both hunger and thirst, and we are poorly clothed, and beaten, and homeless.

Viral Prayer Network

Back in July 2009, the LORD God has put it on my heart to invite people on www.christian-faith.com to participate in a “viral prayer network”. The vision was to get small groups of 3-4 people to PRAY together online for themselves and their ministries and various prayer causes. Everyone will be encouraged to participate in TWO such groups three times a week each for a minimum of 15 minutes each. The second group will be a group that person will eventually start themselves.

How to Prepare for End-time Tribulation

Here are the words of Basilea Schlink on this issue:

Preparation starts today!

1. Every time difficulties and impossible situations arise now, I will believe in the omnipotence of God and His fatherly aid. I will not give place to worry, but completely trust in the Father’s tender, loving care, for He never gives me more than I can bear and always has ways and means to help. Then by the time persecution breaks out, I shall be ‘practiced in faith’ so that I can experience His aid.

2.

Do we Christians believe our own gospel?

When a Muslim enquirer was first told of the Good News of Jesus Christ he asked, ‘How long has this message been around?’

‘About two thousand years,’ replied the messenger.

‘If that is so why haven’t I heard of it before? There must be no Christians in my country.’

‘Yes, there are,’ said his informant.

‘Well then, there are certainly none in this city.’

‘Yes, there are,’ was the reply.

‘How is this possible? The only reason I can think of is that you Christians do not believe your own Gospel.’

The Best Goal for a Christian – is it YOUR goal?

If you read motivational books, no doubt you have heard of the importance of setting goals. Without setting goals we tend to drift and we don’t achieve great results. Without strong goals all we tend to do is “get by”.

Some motivational books encourage us to choose any goal we like. Could be a large house in a good neighborhood paid off, or a certain kind of car, or holiday. It might be a career achievement. The books then go on to give you some principles through which you can achieve your stated goals.

The Judgments of God

Every violation of God’s wisdom will set into motion a chain of consequences that will bring pain, hurt and loss.

God wants you to be spiritually rich

God is the Awesome Creator of the Universe. He made the universe, and then chose a tiny speck on it to host His most special creation – human beings. The many things that are unique to the earth and unique in our human DNA and makeup point to the design of a Loving Creator.

The Bible teaches that God is love. God loves you. He wants you to enjoy His love. The greatest fulfillment that anyone can know is to give and receive God’s love. We were made by God for that.
