Being perverse or crooked shows you despise God. (14:2)

The house of the wicked will be overthrown. (14:11)

Just because your way seems right to you does not mean it won’t lead to death. (14:12)

Fools can be self-confident too, and frequently are. (14:16)

Don’t be quick tempered or you will act foolishly (14:17)

If you are wicked ultimately you will be underneath the righteous. (14:19)

Its a sin to despise your neighbour. (14:21)

Make evil plans and you will go astray.

Why should i believe in God?

I want a well structured argument for why i should believe that God exists, not a “because the Bible says so” kind of answer.

fire away

First, I would like to state that I consider myself to be a charismatic Christian, which basically means I believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God and believe everything it says including Mark 16: 17-18 “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well.” I do not pick and choose certain parts that line up with my beliefs and discard those

Warnings to Those who will not Warn or Help the Perishing

Folks, it seems to me that at least 97% of the world’s population is spiritually dead, and is perishing. Even amongst God’s people many are perishing for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Now God says to warn them, using the appropriate technologies.

Anxiety will cause depression. [Its better to give your burdens to the Lord.] (12:25)

Be careful in choosing friends, because bad ones can lead even a righteous person astray.

The Warnings of the Book of Proverbs

The Judgments of God

Every violation of God’s wisdom will set into motion a chain of consequences that will bring pain, hurt and loss.

God said that in the last days there would be perilous times. God’s Word is full of warnings, as well as promises. There are two sides to God. One is His great love for you, and the other is His severity. He warns you there will be consequences for certain kinds of things. Satan’s deceptions try to convince you that God is lying on both counts. Its wiser to trust God.
