CHARACTER CONFESSION
James 1:19 let every man
be swift to hear, slow to speak, and slow to wrath, for the Wrath of man does not
produce the righteousness of God
James 1:5 If any of you
lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally And without reproach,
and it will be given to him.
WE BELIEVE in the everlasting punishment of the wicked (in the sense of eternal torment) who wilfully reject and despise the love of God manifested in the great sacrifice of His only Son upon the cross for their salvation – Matt 25:46; 13:49,50; Luke 12:47,48; 2 Thess 1:8,9; Rom 6:23; Rev 20:11-15.
"Then the seventh angel sounded [the trumpet]: And there were loud
voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms
of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!"
(Revelations 11:15)
Shows the Scriptural promises and expectations of Christ relating to this ministry and answers the objections Christians have to the idea of training believers to do the ministry of divine healing.
The failure of many to receive divine healing over the years have given rise to a whole slew of traditional explanations for why we should not really expect divine healing to happen today. These objections are answered in this article.
I listen to wisdom and will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm. Pr 1.33
No harm or grave trouble befalls the righteous. I am righteous in Christ and no harm shall befall me. I avoid wicked thoughts, words and actions for the wicked have their fill of trouble. Pr 12.21
I will both lie down in peace and sleep, for the Lord alone makes me dwell in safety. Ps 4.8
The Lord is a shield for me, my glory and the One who lifts up my head. Ps 3.3
God is my strong refuge, to which I may resort continually. Ps 71.3
God is my rock and my fortress.
I enter God’s rest and cease from my own human labours, just as God rested from those labours peculiarly His own. Heb 4.10 Jn 5.17
Jesus Christ’s Example:
The Son is able to do nothing from Himself – of his own accord; but he is able to do only what He sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does is what the Son does in the same way. As I live like Jesus, I do nothing from myself but only what I see the Lord doing.
I do the will of my Father in Heaven. # Mt 7.21
I enter the rest of God and cease from my own human labours. # Heb 4.10
The works that Christ did I do also. # John 14.12
I do justice, love mercy and seek to walk humbly with my God. # Mic 6.8
By love I serve another. # Gal 5.13
I go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation. # Mk 16.15
I go into all the world and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey all the commandments of Christ.
WE BELIEVE: that man was created by God by a specific, immediate act and his image and likeness morally upright and perfect, but fell by voluntary transgression. Consequently, all men are separated from original righteousness, being depraved and without spiritual life. Gen 1:26-31; 3:1-7; Romans 5:12-21.
Introduction.
The first three chapters of Genesis give us a detailed account of the creation of this world and the creation of man. What is quite clear is the perfection of God’s creation; everything was good.
