Political and Social Issues

Christians have all kinds of different political beliefs and persuasions today. Christians also adopt different views on many different social issues.

These things can be discussed, but it is not wise for anyone to insist that it is necessary to hold certain political views in order to be right with God.

In many ways, these issues are secondary to the Christian, because Jesus said, “My Kingdom is not of this world”.

Divine Healing – John Iuliano

In accordance with the teachings of the Scriptures, we trust our heavenly Father to protect and heal
our bodies from sickness and disease. WE BELIEVE that divine healing for the body, as with all
redemptive blessings of God, has been provided for us by the atoning death and victorious
resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ; it is the privilege of all believers and it is appropriated by faith
in our heavenly Father’s unfailing promises Exod 15:26; Isa 53:4; Matt 8:16,17; 1 Pet 2:24; Psa
103:3; James 5:14,15; Mark 16:17,18.

The Righteous Shall Get Land – Psalm 37, Mark 10

Psalm 37 repeats the promise that the righteous shall get land. This would have both a natural and a spiritual application.Naturally, land is a great investment. It is a scarce resource which the government cannot print, only release for use. As world population grows, it needs to be inhabited more densely and grows in value.

In the Old Covenant, the land of Israel was very important. It was a big deal for the people of Israel to inherit and conquer the Promised Land.

The Kingdom of God and the Message of Jesus

An introduction

The central message of Jesus Christ was the message of "the Kingdom of God" or "the Kingdom of Heaven". This message, when understood, is the most relevant message for the needs of humanity. This message must once again become the central theme of preachers and teachers in these last days.

Baptism in Water – by Ps John Iuliano

WE BELIEVE that baptism, by single immersion, in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, is enjoined upon all who have repented and have believed in Christ as Saviour and Lord, and that it is symbolic of our identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection – Matt. 28:19,20; Acts. 10:47,28; 2:38,39; Rom. 6:4,5; Col. 2:12; Mark 16:16.

Introduction

An ordinance is an outward sign of an inward work. The word ordinance literally means “something commanded and enforced by the proper authority”.

Salvation of Man

WE BELIEVE salvation is received through repentance toward God and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. This experience is also known as the new birth and is an instantaneous and complete operation of the Holy Spirit whereupon the believing sinner is regenerated, justified, and adopted into the family of God and becomes a new creation in Christ Jesus, (Titus 2;11; 3:5-7; 1 Peter 1:23; 1 John 5:1) and an heir of eternal life.

Introduction.

The central message of the gospel is, “How man can be saved”.

The Holy Spirit

WE BELIEVE in the Holy Spirit, the third person of the triune Godhead, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, and is ever present and active in the work of convicting and regenerating the sinner, and sanctifying and guiding the believer into all truth. John 14:26; John 16:8-11; 1 Peter 1:2; Rom 8:14.

Introduction

So many people sincerely think of the Holy Spirit as a mere influence or power. They fail to see Him as a person with individual characteristics.
