Can we affect God’s plan to save people?

It all started with deep heart rendering questions in my heart. Why, when God truly wants to save souls and I sincerely want to play my part in that, there are not as many finances available as we would need to fully achieve that goal? I was serving God as a senior pastor in Romania […]

The Terror of the Night

The Terror of the Night Most people do not take life seriously enough. This is the conclusion of a person famous for his wisdom, king Solomon, after he searched exhaustively (Ecc. 1:13) for life’s meaning with the extraordinary wisdom given to him (James 1:5, 2 Ch. 1:11-12) by the Author of all wisdom (Col. 2:3). […]

Are you using the talents before Jesus returns?

“I haven’t seen this before, though I have read these passages multiple times. This morning I was reading from Matthew 25. First comes the parable of the foolish and wise virgins, then it ends with: “WATCH therefore, for you know neither the day not the hour in which the Son of Man is coming. FOR […]

Weeping and Gnashing of Teeth

According to Jesus Christ, a horrible future awaits many people. Jesus said there would be “weeping and gnashing of teeth” for many. This speaks of inconsolable regret, remorse, dismay and anger. This is what so many people will be doing in eternity, when they realize what they missed out on, and what they have been […]

Softening the Words of Jesus for Public Consumption

In studying the Bible, I sometimes use a New King James version of the Bible called the “New Spirit Filled Life Bible”. It has a lot of helpful commentaries, original language word definitions and reference notes. However, like all commentaries, it is not inspired, and it is not perfect. And occasionally, the notes really seem […]

Sid Roth interviews Mary K. Baxter about her Visions of Hell and Heaven

Some, including some Christians, disbelieve this woman but to me her story carries the ring of authenticity. I don't believe all stories like this, but for some reason I do believe this. It is very good that she is leading so many people to the Lord Jesus.

Hell is a horrible place. Mary Baxter claims to have been taken to see it in 1976 for 30 consecutive nights.

It is significant that backslidden Christians and even preachers are in hell right now. That is the claim. It fits with the Scriptures I read.

The Bottomless Pit

I was surprised recently when the Holy Spirit drew my attention to the words “the bottomless pit”–surprised because I had not been thinking of anything remotely connected to this phrase. Why had he brought it to my mind? I knew this description was used in the book of Revelation, so I opened my Bible and concordance and began looking into the matter. This is what I found.

An Atheist in Hell

This is an extract from John Bunyan's work. John Bunyan was given this revelationary experience concerning life after death in the 17th century. Consider how similar this is to so many modern reports of people who claim to have been taken to see hell by Almighty God, so as to warn others.

An Atheist in Hell

The Horrors of Eternal Hell

God is indeed a God of great love and compassion but on the other end of the scales is the certainty of his severe judgement and Justice. God loves mankind and now He has restrained His judgement so that the Good news of Salvation through the grace and unearned mercy of God found in the death, burial, resurrection of Christ.

Eternal Life or Eternal Torment

The two possible eternal destinies beyond the grave are graphically mentioned by the Lord Jesus in the following passage:

“Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life.” (Mt 25:46)
