Revival in a small coastal town in Australia
The following article is an account of a revival that was reported in Outreach Magazine when Pastor Peter Earle, the Principal of the School of Ministries led a bible college team to Yeppoon. (Editor’s note: It is true that this story is now 10 years old. Still it is very encouraging and can inspire us to believe for God to do such great things again in Australia.)

Lord, open my eyes to the value of lowliness, for “with the lowly is wisdom”. Give me this wisdom. At the same time, I reject the coming of pride, which brings shame. (vs 2)
Thank you Lord that you do not let me wander from Your commandments.
(Psalm 119:10)
Thank you Lord that you teach me Your statutes.
(Psalm 119:12)
Thank you Father God that you deal bountifully with me that I may live and keep Your word.
(Psalm 119:17)
Thank You Father God that You open my eyes, that I may see wonderful things from Your law.
(Psalm 119:18)
Thank You Father God that You do not hide Your commandments from me.
(Psalm 119:19)
Thank You Father God that You remove from me reproach and contempt as I keep Your testimonies.
While God has some traditions for the church that Paul taught, according to 2 Thessalonians 3:6, there are MANY traditions in the way most churches operate and do things that actually hinder God’s purposes.
If you read something in the New Testament and it contradicts what you think you know about the way God’s people are supposed to operate, you can be sure that your thinking has been influenced by dead tradition.
What does God want from us? In a word, LOVE. He wants our hearts. He wants us to love Him with all our hearts. This means, that we will give him our total focus.
