Folks, it seems to me that at least 97% of the world’s population is spiritually dead, and is perishing. Even amongst God’s people many are perishing for lack of knowledge (Hosea 4:6). Now God says to warn them, using the appropriate technologies.
God is the Awesome Creator of the Universe. He made the universe, and then chose a tiny speck on it to host His most special creation – human beings. The many things that are unique to the earth and unique in our human DNA and makeup point to the design of a Loving Creator.
The Bible teaches that God is love. God loves you. He wants you to enjoy His love. The greatest fulfillment that anyone can know is to give and receive God’s love. We were made by God for that.
"And they overcame him [the devil] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death." (Revelation 12:11).
The good news is that God has intervened in this sinful world and that He will intervene in the lives of those who dare to trust
Him. You don’t have to go to hell, everyone who believes in Jesus can go to heaven. Though you have not kept God’s
standards, there is a way of forgiveness and freedom from guilt. You don’t have to be fearful, God can fill your heart with
confidence. You don’t have to be depressed; God wants to fill your heart with joy!
I have realised afresh just how important it is that we actually PREACH the gospel. The full gospel is the power of God to salvation, healing, holiness or whatever part of the message we preach to people. When we PREACH it, then Jesus will do His part and reveal Himself as the one who does according to what we have been truly preaching concerning Him.
The devil knows this, so he has worked a plan to disempower Christians everywhere.
Paul says in Romans 1:16 (a):
“I’m not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the salvation of every one who believes: …”
Its a common mistake to think that after someone preaches the gospel, God sends the power. But the Bible says that the gospel “is the power of God”. If someone gives you a machine gun, you need to be trained before you can handle it, don’t you? But our wonderful God told you on the day you were saved: “I’ll give you my power to handle!”
What is that power?
Rambabu, a former Brahmin Hindu, is the founder of New Creation Ministries based in Bellary, India. He now preaches Jesus Christ both to individuals and to large crusades numbering in the tens of thousands. Outstanding miracles always follow his preaching. This is an outstanding book to motivate you and equip you to get active as a Christian and go and be part of the fulfillment of God’s dream.
This post is for you if you believe that “the gospel is the power of God for salvation of everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16) and that “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God” (Romans 10:17).
If you are not a believer, I would ask you to have a look at something else on this site. This is something I really only want to share with Christians. I say this because I really care about people who are not in Christ, who don’t know Jesus personally at all.
We can know God is real when we experience His reality. God wants us
to know that He is real. One way you can find out for sure is through an
experimental approach. Pray a prayer like this:
“God, if you are real, show me. If you really exist, I want to know
before it is too late.”
No one else needs to know if you prayed such a prayer. If there is no
God, then He can’t respond to any prayer.
When he had called the people to Himself, with his disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
“For whoever desires to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for My sake and the gospel’s will save it.” (Mark 8:34,35)
We can see here plainly enough that the recommendations of Jesus Christ fly in the face of everything that our natural instincts tell us.
