Praise on Earth as it is in Heaven

All the accounts of heaven – from John's accounts in the Book of Revelation, to modern day testimonies of people who have been permitted to see parts of heaven – either during clinical death experiences or by some kind of special intervention of God – all these accounts speak of the fact that a lot of what goes on in heaven consists of praise to God the Father and to the Lord Jesus Christ.

 

 

Thankfulness for God’s Promises – Day 1

Father I thank you that you have blessed me with EVERY spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. Teach me how to receive what you have given!

(Ephesians 1:3)

Father I thank you that you daily load me with benefits! (Psalm 66:19). In fact you daily load US, your people, with benefits every day!

I thank you Father that your divine power has given me everything that pertains to life and godliness, througn the knowledge of Jesus Christ. (2 Peter 1:3)

 

Consecration Concerning Thanksgiving to God

In EVERYTHING I give thanks, for this is the will of God for me in Christ Jesus.

(1 Thessalonians 5:18)

I am thankful. (Colossians 3:15)

I enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. I am thankful unto Him, and bless His name.

(Psalm 100:4)

 

Therefore by Him I continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

Who God is to me

Commitment to Worship

I shall worship the Lord my God, and Him only shall I serve. (Matthew 4:10)

I am a true worshipper, and worship the Father in spirit and in truth for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
(John 4:23)

I shall love the Lord my God with all my heart, with all my soul, with all my strength, and with all my mind, and my neighbour as myself. (Luke 10:27)

Whether I eat or drink, or whatever I do, I do all to the glory of God.

The Way of Praise

PRAISE

Through Jesus I continually offer to God the sacrifice of praise, the fruit of lips which confess His name.
(Hebrews 13:15)

I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
(Psalm 34:1)

My tongue shall speak of God’s righteousness and of His praise all the day long.
(Psalm 35:28)

I enter into God’s gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise.

I make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

Prayers asking for Grace to be Thankful

A note on this: honestly, the best thing is to start training yourself to say “Thank you Father” for various things regularly throughout the day. Good habits have power! It will make a BIG DIFFERENCE in your life. Grateful people CANNOT be unhappy.

Dear Holy Spirit, help me:

– in everything to give thanks, for this is the will of God for me in Christ Jesus. I don’t want to grieve You through ingratitude.
(1 Thessalonians 5:18,19)

– to let the peace of God rule in my heart, to which I was also called in one body; and to be thankful. (Colossians 3:15)
