Prayer Pastoring – Chapter 2 – Grace

This is the second chapter of our eBook
on Prayer Pastoring. The first chapter dealt with step one praying
for mercy. We often have judgements against us that halt our prayers
for ourselves therefore we need God’s mercy. Without mercy our
prayers are hindered. We often mistake opposition as coming from
spiritual warfare but many times it is coming from God himself and we
are reaping what we have sown. This opposition is the judgement of
God. Chapter one explains this process.

Prayer Pastoring – Chapter 1 – Mercy

The great movements of God have had their origin and energy in and were shaped by prayers of men.

Keys to Hearing God’s Voice

There are some keys to hearing God's voice that I have neglected lately, and I am grateful for being reminded of them.

1. Feed on God's Word to prepare your spirit to hear God's voice

"The entrance of your Word gives light, it brings understanding to the simple". (Ps 119:130)

Prayer in the Name of Jesus

Something That I Need to Share!

About a week ago I was writing my prayer list for the evening, which has started to be one of my practices, and as I was writing the names for those that I personally know whom are lost, I put down a name of a Dear friend of mines older brother. I had never put his name down before, but I just did it. Then that same day I had had e-mailed that same friend to check on her Father ( The same Jerry Dolinski that I have sent in a prayer request for) and so that I could give an update on his progress. Also I basically wanted to see how well she was holding up.

The Power of Thanksgiving

"In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God for you in Christ Jesus."

(1 Thessalonians 5:18)

I don't think there is any controversy here – all Christian churches would believe that giving

thanks to God is a good thing.

A question about Asking, Seeking, Knocking

Someone posted this on my facebook wall:

My first question:
Luke 10:38,9 says “ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

What door is Jesus talking about? And how are we supposed to knock?

I think your Bible reference is actually incorrect. You might want to check it. You probably meant Luke 11:9,10

The Joy of the Lord by Pastor Caspar McCloud

Papa God we thank you this day and want to rejoice in it. The devil did not make this day; this is the day that you have made so we want to rejoice and be glad in it.
