Can we affect God’s plan to save people?

It all started with deep heart rendering questions in my heart. Why, when God truly wants to save souls and I sincerely want to play my part in that, there are not as many finances available as we would need to fully achieve that goal? I was serving God as a senior pastor in Romania […]

Can you Lose your Salvation? Answering objections to my article

I wrote an article a few days ago in which I give Scriptural support for the idea that it is possible to lose your salvation. One person replied and said, “False teaching” and then he and others followed it up with a few thoughts. These few thoughts I now seek to address in the article below. Gary […]

Scriptures Warning Christians of Eternal Peril

A significant part of the today’s evangelical industry is devoted to giving assurance to people who are in bondage to various forms of sin that they do not need to fear for their souls. In other words, people desperately want to hear that it is safe to sin, and there are plenty of people out […]

Struggling mentally? Unhappy? This can set you free…

WOULD YOU SIT FOR A CHAT WITH SOMEONE YOU KNEW WANTED TO STEAL, KILL AND DESTROY YOU? Yet we many times do that with the devil. I have a friend that has been struggling with mental torment. This is my reply to her, it might help others. I have been a couple of times in […]

Eternal Security – Fact or Fallacy?

This is a blurb from my book Will the Real Christianity Please Stand Up – to be released soon. Hand in hand with the sinner’s prayer is the doctrine of eternal security. The most common phrase used to describe that is “once saved always saved.” I was so fascinated by this subject that I brought […]

Why they did not tithe in the New Testament church

There is no record of tithing in the NT church, there’s no precedent, so let’s establish this fact first that the NT church did not practice tithing and then explain why they did not. Every reference in the NT concerning giving states that giving is to be done freely. Tithing is not free giving, it […]

Christian Fatalism is not the Way to Go

One of the biggest tragedies in the Christian church over the centuries has been this idea that whatever happens is God's will.

No Preacher has All the Answers – Trust Only Jesus Fully

At the time of writing (in December 2012) I am 47 years old. I was raised by godly parents in a Christian family and I have been part of Reformed (Calvinist), Anglican, Pentecostal, Charismatic, Baptist and Church of Christ churches at various times in my life. Apart from reading the Bible often I have also read many Christian books by many different authors – and not only from our present age. Many have different views on things. I have also been a practitioner of the gospel – going out and planting churches in foreign nations through preaching the gospel.
