God’s Will

Father, fill me with the knowledge of your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. (Colossians 1:9) Remember that, according to Jesus, only those who do the will of the Father will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. (Matthew 7:21) More on the subject of God’s will can be found in the link below:

These are the things to never stop praying for people

If you look at the example of the apostle Paul, who describes his own prayer life, and think about what his words ACTUALLY MEAN (for there is a lot in them), you will get a very good idea of how to pray for people, especially other Christians. There is more emphasis in the New Testament […]

Walking Worthy of God – Colossians 1v10

Let’s consider again the passage from the Book of Colossians chapter1 from verses 9 onwards:  For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; 10 that you may […]

Identify your Enemy

by Paul Ross. A compulsion is anything that enslaves you, binding you to a repeatable pattern. Now today I want to talk about the nature of demon spirits and how they can be identified, but firstly I want to say that demon spirits can travel across the womb attaching to the offspring as though the offspring were […]

Commentary on the Book of Colossians 1:9

In a previous article we looked at the background of the book of Colossians and unpacked some of the thoughts in verses 1 to 8 of the first chapter. Continuing on from verses 9 onwards we read:  For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, […]

Commentary on the Book of Colossians ch 1:1-8

In recent times I have really been enjoying reading and pondering on the Book of Colossians. There are some really marvelous truths in this book. The central theme of this book is the Centrality and Sufficiency of Jesus Christ. Introduction and Background to the Book of Colossians Paul is writing to a church in Turkey […]

Pope won’t judge “gay” Priests of Good-will

According to the Wall Street Journal recently, Pope Francis said he wouldn’t judge gay priests, and he opened the door to a new era of reconciliation within the Roman Catholic Church, which has struggled for decades to confront the presence of homosexuality in its ministry. During a bumpy plane ride to Rome from Brazil, Pope Francis said […]

Why Do So Many People Believe In God?

In view of the great suffering that exists in humanity, in view of the vastness of empty space in the Cosmos, and the apparently huge time periods that the Universe seems to have existed without life, it is remarkable that anyone believes in God. Why then do we find believers in God all over the […]

Why So Much Suffering in the World?

The atheist assumes that the Universe just exists for no particular reason. Some believe it existed forever, others say it started at the Big Bang. We’re not quite sure why the Big Bang happened, or why there were Laws of Physics around even before there was a Physical Universe – but there it is. In […]

Who Made God

“If God made the world, then who made God?” Atheists such as Richard Dawkins have said that if a complex specified Universe requires the existence of a Divine Maker, then how much more does the existence of a complex Divine Maker require Someone even greater to create Him? This is supposed to be a clever […]
