Here is a playlist of testimonies of people who escaped out of the occult. Satan's spiritual realm is very deadly and it usually is not easy to escape.

The reality of hell is a problem to many people. That a God of love could condemn anyone to such a fate prevents them (they say) from believing in such a God. Empathy can be given for such a view, but there are a couple of aspects of it of which they clearly have no understanding: the supreme nature of both (1) hell, and (2) God’s love. They are “looking only on the surface of things” (2 Cor.
“Do not follow the crowd in doing wrong” (Ex. 23:2).
It should be obvious to anyone that we are not to do wrong, but this verse singles out doing wrong by following a crowd. Why? Because it is often so much easier to do wrong when you are in a crowd than when you are alone. For in a crowd there is often a real pressure to do what they do or risk being subject to ridicule, or worse, actual physical attack in the case of political uprisings and mob mentality or riots. Nevertheless, Scripture is clear: Whatever the risks, we are not to go along with the crowd in doing wrong.
God's plan is that we pray in such a way that we get answers to prayer. Rote prayers prayed in a parrot fashion will not really satisfy the heart of God. Our hearts need to enter into prayer. God is also looking for faith. Without faith we cannot please God. When we pray, we need to be having the attitude that we are going to get the things we are asking for.

John 14:12 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.”

“No mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him–but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit. The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God” (1 Cor. 9,10 NIV).
When Elisha sent a young apprentice prophet to anoint Jehu, its interesting to see the power of a GENUINE word from God.
