The Crucifixion & Resurrection; Wednesday or Friday? Saturday or Sunday?

With certain denominations, the above question can determine where a follower of Christ will devote their time in worship. The apostle Paul instructed Timothy to ‘take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine (teaching) and continue in them’. 1 Timothy 4:16 with further advice that in doing this, Timothy would save not only himself, but those that would hear him.
Church Of God 7th Day, as well as other (mainly) Sabbath keeping denominations teach that Christ was crucified on Wednesday from the following verses of scripture;

A test of Faith.

Do I listen to the word of God? or do I listen to the screaming voice of pain? I walk under a test of faith and it is not an easy walk because it requires my co-operation, my submission, consistency in the word of God, prayer, and declaring God’s word to be true, what breaks that consistency is illness, I state what I suffer from not to ask for sympathy because that will not help me, I state what I suffer from so that you can move in compassion and pray for me. I have Fibromyalgia, (look it up) it is a daily grind of chronic fatigue, a disorder of sleep and pain.

We see from the Scriptures that Jesus Christ, whom we know as the Son of God, has some vitally important roles and offices in the whole scheme of things. Once these things are appreciated, it is hard to overstate the centrality and the importance that Jesus holds in everything.

Who is Jesus Christ – by Lucy Parker

Jesus is the most amazing perfect person who ever walked this earth. He did so because of compassion and humility around 2000 years ago. He only lived for 33 years here but made the greatest impact of any man who ever lived. He was born from above even from birth as he is the only one born by the Spirit of God hovering over a virgin chosen even perhaps before the prophet Isaiah's time. For before the foundation of the earth and the creation all Gods works were finished and seen known and understood by him.

Who is Jesus Christ?

"Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" Jesus asked his disciples one day. No surprise that people were talking about Jesus. He was regularly performing miracles, healing people and casting out oppressive evil spirits. People who do this are hard to ignore.
His disciples answered him, "Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets." (See Matthew 16:13ff). The people of his day were confused concerning the identity of Jesus of Nazareth. And so it is today.

Satan’s best kept secret … How to test the spirit?

How to test the spirit? In 1 John 4:1 – 3, the apostle John makes a profound statement, whereby he reveals that we, as the believers in the true Messiah can ‘test the spirits’ of those who profess to be believers, but are not. Here is the scripture referenced, taken from the King James Version.

1 John 4 King James Version (KJV) 4 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God:

Miraculously Healed Of Car Crash Injuries!

Is it even Biblical to Pray for a Person’s Salvation?

It is not uncommon for a Christian to ask other Christians to pray for the salvation of someone they are concerned about. Although this concern for the person’s eternal destiny is commendable, is it Biblical; will God answer these prayers?
