Consecration Concerning Thanksgiving to God

In EVERYTHING I give thanks, for this is the will of God for me in Christ Jesus.

(1 Thessalonians 5:18)

I am thankful. (Colossians 3:15)

I enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. I am thankful unto Him, and bless His name.

(Psalm 100:4)

Therefore by Him I continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name.

(Hebrews 13:15)

How to Be a Happy Person

HOW TO FEEL FANTASTIC (EVEN) AS A CHRISTIAN!

Whether we take faith in Christ seriously or not too seriously, its possible to be either happy or miserable. I must confess that much of my Christian life I have been living in an emotion of sadness or discontent, but folks, this is not the way God wants it.

Perhaps one reason for this is the lack of clear teaching on how to be happy as a Christian. I can't remember ever hearing any sermons on it.

Some Christians teach that it is almost WRONG to want to be happy.

Signs of a True Believer – Casting out Demons

Jesus said in Mark 16:17. These signs shall follow those who believe. In my name, they shall cast out demons.

The Kingdom of God manifests through the casting out of demons. If demons stay inside, so does sin, and that is bad news.

Jesus said: "But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you." (Matthew 12:28)

The Kingdom of God is the place where Jesus is King. While sin reigns in the heart and life, it isn't the Kingdom of God.

Saved From Alcohol

My habitual sin started off casually and innocently. After I was saved, I continued to drink over the years. The one glass of wine that I thought I deserved after a hard days work increased to three to four glasses of wine, to a bottle or more a day. The innocent luxury that I had rewarded myself with soon consumed my whole life. I was drinking every day, whether it was good or bad news, celebrations or just daily stress, I turned to alcohol for strength, comfort and relief.

Performed classical laying of hands

The account I’m setting down here happened four days ago in a VA hospital, with a friend of of mine next to me and a man about to die. I experienced an urging in my gut to go to see this man who was dying form cancer of his liver. I know now it was the spirit of Jesus urging me to go see him, which in afterthought, was indeed the man’s last day living. This man (Roland) was not Christian, but had a weak faith in him. He was barely able to speak, such as his disease had robbed him of everything. I asked him if he was ready to accept Jesus as his personal savior and he nodded yes.

How is God going to Judge People? Teaching on Eternal Judgment

The issue of Eternal Judgment is a very important one. It seems from reading what Christian people write on Facebook that there is a lot of confusion on this point. It isn't something I've heard many sermons on over the years, and yet the Scripture teaches that the Doctrine of Eternal Judgment is in fact a FOUNDATIONAL doctrine which babes in Christ ought to understand before moving on to more solid food teaching concerning righteousness.

Churches that Cast Out Demons

Recently I asked on my facebook status, "When was the last time you saw a demon come out in a local church?" Answers came back: "Never", "1992", "23 years ago", "last year" and so on. Someone said that demons feel quite at home in the modern church today – no need to come out!

A lot of time church people (and leaders) carry on as if:

"There are no demons in Australia [substitute your favourite sophisticated town, city or country]! You might find one in Africa though."
