I was so wonderfully blessed of God through fasting and prayer that I cannot help but share my experience with you. I had joined a mutual loan club with some other ladies. This proved to be a bad investment and I lost all of my property including our house. In addition to that I incurred a debt of $20,000. Finally our entire family had to move into a small room renting for only $10.00 a month.
When I graduated from Bible school and began my ministry, you encouraged me to seek the power of the Holy Spirit through fasting and prayer. So, beginning January I, 1974, I decided to fast for ten days. Before this time I had fasted for one or two days, but this was the first fast of any length I had attempted. On other fasting occasions after three days my strength would be gone, but God gave me special strength during this fast, and I was able to minister regularly in the chapel at the prayer mountain.

I grew up with a dad who was a minister, and I have always been searching and looking for answers in the spiritual world. Even though my dad was a minister, we were not at all living like Christians. We went to church on Sundays, but only too many people do that without being saved. Had a dream when I was about 6. Dreamt I was present when Jesus was crucified. I saw the whole scene from afar in a bluish color. When I told my parents about it, I got no reaction.

Folks, I have felt it necessary to address many of the issues which confound and destroy the souls of men, but recently I felt a prompting from the Lord to talk more about FAITH, and focus on the benefits of believing God.
As Christians, we need encouragement for our souls as well as warnings.
Jesus said, "Whatever you ask in prayer, really believing, you will receive."
So I want to develop that faith, and ask, and receive.
Please people let us do all we can, let us pray all we can, so that more people are rescued and Jesus can see more people come and enjoy everlasting Life with Him.

The whole world knows about Mother Theresa and her amazing work of showing love and mercy to the poorest of the poor in Calcutta. This was an amazing humanitarian work for which she was honored all over the world. Mother Theresa of course was a Roman Catholic nun. She was praised by Catholics, Protestants and Agnostics alike for her life's example. But I wonder, based on the things she wrote and apparently said, if she believed the gospel of Jesus Christ.
