A.J.’s STORY
Before you read this testimony of the Awesome God we serve, I just wanted to lay some ground work. In 1995, I was “living the American Dream”. I had two family fun center businesses, making $10,000 per month, a brand new Ford F150 extra cab, a big hand held cell phone, (which practically took two hands to hold it), I was popular because of the business we owned and people often recognized me when we were out, we lived in a nice big home, blah, blah, blah.

I want to preface all this by saying that some people who would call themselves Calvinists or Reformed Theologians are NOT what I would call practitioners of "Applied Calvinism". They are actually very loving and caring people who believe in the Great Commission and do something for it. At the same time, some Pentecostals and Arminians certainly seem to be "Applied Calvinists" in the sense that they show little or no concern for the state of humanity and the glory of God. What interests God is FAITH that results in OBEDIENCE to the revealed Will of God.

He was sent to share Islam with the "poor misled Christians" but ended up becoming a Christian himself.

I really don't suppose that this will convince any muslim that the Quran is flawed, but one never knows. I believe that man's intellect is fallen, and has the capacity for infinite rationalisation and self-deception. Religion blinds the best of us. It can stare you in the face but if you believe something enough, the facts won't make a dent in it.

There are a number of apparent contradictions in the Quran. Whether they can be resolved is a matter for clever philosophers, the kind who can use a globe to prove that the earth is flat. Here is just one:
