This Bible Study on the Book of Romans chapter 1 (second half) explores themes of man's accountability for sin, the judgment of God, what happens to people even if they don't know the gospel and more.
My testimony begins in Lima , Ohio on August 26, 1973, the day I was born. My mom was not married to my dad, so not having a dad around didn’t help my development.
When I started school I didn’t have many friends. The other children would make fun of me because I didn’t have a dad at home. I can’t even begin to tell you how many fights I got into because of the other children making fun of me.
I have heard testimonies of people going to 'heaven' or 'hell' when they die. If this is a reality, then 100% of people who die and are resuscitated will have such an occurance, wouldn't they?
Jesus was right (surprise, surprise!) when he said though Lazarus should rise from the dead, the rich man's brothers wouldn't listen to him. In saying this, is it not clear that God sees raising people from the dead with an afterlife testimony as not an effective way to preach the gospel?
"The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, to pull down, and to destroy it, 8 if that nation against whom I have spoken turns from its evil, I will relent of the disaster that I… thought to bring upon it." (Jer 18,7)

Some church goers have felt more like pet parrots than eagles. As we know, the owners of pet parrots gain great pleasure out of hand-feeding them and showing them to others. As a result of being caged, they are confined in their activities and, because they can't enjoy the natural pleasure of flying, other things are placed in a cage to keep them amused. They are also trained to talk, but can only repeat what their owner teaches them to say.
