God said that in the last days there would be perilous times. God’s Word is full of warnings, as well as promises. There are two sides to God. One is His great love for you, and the other is His severity. He warns you there will be consequences for certain kinds of things. Satan’s deceptions try to convince you that God is lying on both counts. Its wiser to trust God.
Please note: this prayer is NOT a magic formula. To be saved and reconciled to God you need to realize that you must give up your rebellion against God and His laws, and that you need to cast yourself totally into the hands of God, because you cannot save yourself, sufficiently change yourself or do something to pay for or atone for your past. All of us had to realize this.
O Father God in Heaven, I come to you because I need your forgiveness. I have done wrong. I confess to you all my sins
God is the Awesome Creator of the Universe. He made the universe, and then chose a tiny speck on it to host His most special creation – human beings. The many things that are unique to the earth and unique in our human DNA and makeup point to the design of a Loving Creator.
The Bible teaches that God is love. God loves you. He wants you to enjoy His love. The greatest fulfillment that anyone can know is to give and receive God’s love. We were made by God for that.
You can see just where we are today, how close we are to the end of the age, when church leaders who are widely praised by all kinds of Christians come out to bash those who want to uphold the teaching of Scripture.
I’d like to share with you some encouraging thoughts for you. These thoughts
mostly apply to believers in Jesus Christ. If you’re not a believer in Jesus,
God wants to work in you too. Why not let Him?
If pain is making you question God’s goodness…
Its not a popular message, but its important for you to know that you were born into a rebellious and corrupt race – the human race.
Again, therefore, Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.” (John 8:12)
“And then I will confess to them, ‘I never knew you! Depart from Me, you who work iniquity!'” … Jesus – Matthew 7:22
You don’t have to be perfect to be saved. None of us are. Except for Christ, no man has ever lived perfectly on this earth. But amongst the imperfect, there are those who fear God and those who do not fear Him.
The problem under discussion is basically this: If God is all powerful,
all wise, and yet good and loving – how is it that so much suffering and
evil is permitted in God’s world? Why does God not do more to intervene
if He is so powerful and loving?
