Prayer and Your Destiny

It is getting hard to overestimate the importance of our personal relationship with God in these last days. I believe that a solid knowledge of Scripture and apologetics alone cannot protect us from the fiery darts of the wicked one.

Jesus said, “Watch and pray lest you fall into temptation.” Since we are commanded to “pray without ceasing” (1 Thessalonians 5:17) to “abide in Jesus” (John 15:4) we cannot expect adequate protection from Satan and evil if we do not “draw near to God” so that “He will draw near to us”.

It doesn’t matter how much potential seems to be  in a situation.

The Danger of Spiritual Mixtures

If you search the internet for Christian views on spirituality, you will find a lot of controversy regarding certain doctrines and well-known T.V. preachers. Its really amazing that so many who profess to love God’s Word, the Bible, to love Jesus, to be in touch with the Spirit of Truth can have such major disagreements on so many issues and people. Somewhere someone is getting deceived. And if you think that only YOU cannot be deceived, you are already deceived. Jesus said, “Take heed that no one deceives you.” (Matthew 24:4).

Meetings in Kalyan with evangelist Rambabu

I had the joy of attending some gospel meetings in Kalyan, Maharashta, India, not far from Mumbai city (Bombay). A group of about 30 independent pastors of small churches had organized these gospel meetings. Everyone was surprised by the attendance. The three days of meetings grew from perhaps 10,000 to 40,000 people by the end, although the police estimate for the final meeting was as high as 50,000.

The meetings were very lively with music and worship of the Lord Jesus Christ. The evangelist, P.S. Rambabu, announced after he came on that Jesus Christ would do miracles in the crowd.

Meeting with Gospel Singer Kadambari

I had the joy this evening to meet up with a wonderful woman of God Sister Kadambari who sings for the Lord Jesus around the world. She has inspired me with the testimony of how God can even heal people through His presence when the beautiful songs are sung in the power of the Holy Spirit.

She cames from a Hindu royal family background (Sindhi) and was a follower of Saibaba formerly, one of the popular “godmen” or gurus in India.
