WARNING TO CHRISTIANS: The Great Apostacy of Narnia!

Dear friends, family, and pastors,

Thursday evening I was reading a "Christian" news article that was excited about the release of "The Dawn Treader".  They were upset that the lead actor who is the voice of Aslan stated that he viewed the role not as a Christ role but as a mentor or guide role such as Buddha or Mohamed might also fulfill. They had a reader poll on this, but the poll only gave three options as to why readers thought this guy was essentially 'out to lunch'. None of the options stated, "I agree" with his assessment.  I emailed them and then posted a warning on Facebook. These movies are flat out evil and demonic. C.S. Lewis was a philosopher more than a Christian, despite his pedigree and honored status in the dying churches of the west.

Prince Caspian and "The Dawn Treader" are spiritual poison. Jesus is not Aslan, and Aslan is NOT Jesus! Read the following quotes (two of too many to use) from Prince Caspian and judge for yourself:

"…the girls had waked to see Aslan standing over them and to hear his voice saying, 'We will make holiday.' … Bacchus [the Roman god of wine, madness and debauchery] and the Maenads—his fierce, madcap girls—and Silenus were still with them…. Everyone was awake, everyone was laughing, flutes were playing, cymbals clashing."[1,p.277] Prince Caspian

"…all night Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes." [1,p.283, The Complete Chronicles of Narnia]

Does Jesus have fellowship with pagan deities, whom the Bible labels as devils? Does he call to order their lust-filled festivals? If so, then Aslan is Jesus! If not, who the devil are you opening your mind and heart to?

Does a holy and righteous God, who has made Himself abundantly clear about his hatred for witchcraft, etc. want us to open the pathway to curious arts… to our children? Does He who says, "I will set no wicked thing before my eyes," desire that we watch a vivid technicolor, dolby enhanced rendering of these things clearly designed to transport us into another world?

Deu 18:9-15 "When thou art come into the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, thou shalt not learn to do after the abominations of those nations. There shall not be found among you any one that maketh his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, or that useth divination, or an observer of times, or an enchanter, or a witch, Or a charmer, or a consulter with familiar spirits, or a wizard, or a necromancer.

"For ALL THAT DO THESE THINGS* are an abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth drive them out from before thee. THOU SHALL BE PERFECT** with the LORD thy God. For these nations, which thou shalt possess, hearkened unto observers of times, and unto diviners: but as for thee, THE LORD THY GOD HAS NOT SUFFERED THEE SO TO DO.***"

*ALL means no exceptions. Aslan does these things and partakes in them and answers when the children call using magic horns and such. Therefore Aslan himself is an abomination to the Lord.

**THOU means "you" and it means me, who is a "you" to God who wrote this. SHALL BE PERFECT means spotless. In this context it means we are commanded to remove these abominations afore listed from our lives and not be soiled by them. We cannot set them before our eyes as "entertainment" and not have them go into our hearts and minds – this is confusion, and God is not the author of confusion. "I will set no wicked thing before my eyes…"

*** God does not suffer (allow) us to do this under any circumstance. We simply do not have HIS permission. My children have all kinds of good reasons why there is nothing wrong with doing certain things, but when I say they do not have my permission, all of their reasons turn to rebellion if they persist.

Verse 15 states, "The LORD thy God will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken;"

Jesus Christ is that Prophet. He came to confirm this word. It is unto HIM we shall listen, not Aslan. The God who wrote "this is an abomination" was sending a Prophet who represents Him and thus represents His Holy hatred for the things Lewis uses to 'preach the gospel,' if indeed that was Lewis' intent in the Narnia series. If that was Lewis' intent, it is a false gospel indeed. As such it is accursed as Paul has spoken, for the Gospel according to Aslan is that of universalism, which Lewis himself believed in real life…

"Lewis dedicated his autobiography (“Surprised by Joy”) to Bede Griffiths, a former student of his who became a long-time friend. Griffiths founded a “Christian ashram” in India. He said that Hindu temples are a “sacrament.” And he(Lewis) said, “No one can say in the proper sense that the Hindu, the Buddhist or the Muslim is an ‘unbeliever.’ I would say rather that we have to recognize him as our brother in Christ.”  In this, the Voice of Aslan, Liam Neeson, is TRUE in his interpretation of the heart of C.S. Lewis.

How BLIND are we that we overlook the obvious? Witches are evil… always. Half man/ half beast are the stuff pagan legends (not Christian ones) are made of. Children blowing mystical horns to summons Aslan from afar? Spells? Mystical seers? Another obvious is Why is Disney (the Magic Kingdom) the one promoting this?

When I believe God needs the devil's kingdom to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ, I will cease being a Christian. My God has FULLY equipped His Church to preach the Gospel with signs and wonders following. Narnia has made a mockery of the decaying church in America who sells White Witches of all things to promote their ministries! They cling to Narnia and pee on this mystical movie to anoint it as 'Christian' as though they do not have enough spiritual resources in the form of Divine Scripture and the Holy Spirit to win the world to Christ!

My brothers and sisters, this is a grievous sin and a stench in God's nostrils. This is not about me and my interpretations of anything. This is about as clear cut as it gets in God's Word. I beg you to read the following links and bring them to the Lord in prayer. We have missed it BIG TIME!  Let's repent and take a stand before we hand our children off to fantasies that lay them open to demonic assault and the pursuit of Harry Potter's world. Many churches have advocates in their midst for the Narnia series. I believe it is the Pastor's place to draw a clear line here for their churches. There is GREAT DANGER in Narnia. God has warned and he will not overlook this. We must not give place to the devil, for he will most assuredly use it to bewitch us further.

May God grant us repentance to the acknowledging of the truth, that we may escape ourselves from the snare of the devil.

Sincerely, Tim

P.S. – It will take less time to read these links in their entirety than it will take to watch one of these movies. Please do so before you allow your family or congregations to see such things. If we feel the need for a Christian allegory, then let's read "Pilgrim's Progress" to our children.
