Urgent need of !!!

I have come to realize that is much division within the Body of Christ. So I will get to the point as it is an urgent request. Please brothers and sisters join together with me in praying for YHWH to send a Prophet to help us? We are in an urgent need for a true prophet of God to come, who can guide us to the truth and show us YHWH’s instructions for us and help prepare us for the times to come. We need a true prophet who can help bring unity to the greatly divided Children of YHWH (GOD)! Please pray with me?

God Bless!

  1. Timothy Luke says:

When you look at the prophets, what you are saying you expect from this great prophet you would like for the end times is Elijah. The majority of prophets did not see a unified move of the people behind them… they were killed. Scripture says God will send an Elijah in the last days to restore the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers. Scripture also speaks of two witnesses that shall have the power to call fire from heaven. This will happen. BUT – in the course of their ministry will the church be united in the manner you desire? I do not believe so.

As Warrior Daughter points out, and I agree, there are true prophets today. However, they are not what unifies and empowers a Christian. The Holy Spirit is.

I am saying Jesus will bring about the unity of all nations, not only the church, upon His return. The Lord Yeshua is not the seal of the prophets, He is the Creator and Lord of the prophets. He is the one who sent the holy men of old who spoke under inspiration of the Holy Spirit that Christ ascended to heaven so that it might be poured out upon us individually and collectively as the church.

I hope this clarifies my thinking to you. IF not, feel free to inquire further!

    • from the wind says:

I see what you are saying, but if there is no unity until Yeshua comes what will be made of God’s people? How will the end times saints gather what about the 144,000 to be sealed?

What about what the Bible says about the “falling away”? If the poeple of God don’t come together how will we survive the Great Tribulation or the days that lead up to it?

If you say that the Holy Spirit must lead us to unity, when do you suppose we will finally be able to work together?

There may be people filled with the spirit of prophecy, but God forbid if a Catholic sees true Protestant acting as a prophet. Imagine the chaos that a prophet would cause for Catholics, or a Protestant denomination that doesn’t accept true prophets.

Sure there are many churches now, but a kingdom divided against itself can not truly stand. So how much longer should we wait for the Holy Spirit to make us a unified Body?

Why not pray now for YHWH to send a true prophet that can lead people to the doctrinal truth and unity? Perhaps we should be praying for the end times “Elijah” to come.

Is it not true that the world grows more wicked and we live in the last days?

      • Timothy Luke says:

I see what you are saying, but if there is no unity until Yeshua comes what will be made of God’s people?

(THERE IS UNITY. Ephesians 4 describes it. True believers are united in one spirit, with one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of us all.) How will the end times saints gather what about the 144,000 to be sealed? The saints will BE gathered by the angels who shall gather them from the 4 corners of the earth.)

What about what the Bible says about the “falling away”? If the poeple of God don’t come together how will we survive the Great Tribulation or the days that lead up to it?

(Your question is founded upon scripture that says there must be a great falling away prior to the Lord’s return. This speaks to the precondition of the church in disarray, not in unity as your request for prayer for a great prophet seeks. Our unity is not found in a great prophet, it is found in God Himself. All who will receive the Word of God in its simplicity and completeness, are united already in spirit – though we may be oceans apart in the flesh.)

If you say that the Holy Spirit must lead us to unity, when do you suppose we will finally be able to work together?

(The Holy Spirit does not ‘lead us to unity,’ it UNIFIES us as we are one spiritual body united by it.)

There may be people filled with the spirit of prophecy, but God forbid if a Catholic sees true Protestant acting as a prophet. Imagine the chaos that a prophet would cause for Catholics, or a Protestant denomination that doesn’t accept true prophets.

(Now you are embracing disunity of denominationalism to limit the operating of the Holy Spirit and saying “God forbid God speak through a Catholic, for it will send the Protestants into an uproar, “and “God forbid God speak through a Protestant, for it will cause chaos.” You are asking for a prophet to send unity, yet here you are saying any prophet will cause division based on denominationalism and a spirit of religion. Can you see the contradicting thought process you are bringing forth? Or, have I missed it?)

Sure there are many churches now, but a kingdom divided against itself can not truly stand. So how much longer should we wait for the Holy Spirit to make us a unified Body?

(I believe you are confusing a spiritual organism – God’s church on earth today, composed of true believers of many denominations – with a physical organization of religions that requires agreement between religious blocks. The unity of the church is not found in our organizational chaos, it IS FOUND in those who humbly seek God and keep His commandments – even if some are Catholic and some Protestant. It is God’s spirit that bears witness as to who is in the body of Christ; not our membership rolls.)

Why not pray now for YHWH to send a true prophet that can lead people to the doctrinal truth and unity? Perhaps we should be praying for the end times “Elijah” to come.

(God will send whom He will send. He already knows what we need before the coming of our Lord, and He has made provision. We need to take the time to read God’s Word for ourselves and pray and yield to it. This is what will bring the unity. God is going to have to judge the church severely, even as he had to judge the old testament church, run by pharisees and sadducees. The apostles prayer was that the Lord come quickly. They did not pray for a special prophet, for prophets are in the midst of the true church today.)

Is it not true that the world grows more wicked and we live in the last days?

(This is very true. And this is why we need each other my friend. I value you much more than I value whether our opinions of the end time agree with one another. It is my pleasure and privilege to be a co-believe with you. This is more important than my ‘right’ to be right. If we can do this, we shall have the unity you seek. Blessings to you!!)

        • from the wind says:

I suppose I need more patience. I can see where you a clearly right… I can’t just focus on an “in the flesh” unity to come by a prophet as if a prophet is what truly unifies us. The Holy Spirit is what makes us as one.

But I must admit, there are times when I lose focus on what truly matters in Christ, especially when I put my focus on the wickedness of this world and the numbers(of people) I encounter that fulfill the Apostles and Christ’s words so blindly. I mean, it’s good to see that the Word of God is true, but what can or should I do when I see people who are so close to God’s wrath?

I thank YHWH for you and your words. For now I remember that the Lord knows how to deliver His people. There is a great unity that is there in the spirit already. I do wish I knew who God was going to send. God will send whom He will. But I ask that you pray for me so that I have a sound mind that won’t panic when it sees the world’s end coming near. Also pray that I receive more patience, for me waiting in this world isn’t very comfortable.

          • Timothy Luke says:

Dear brother, I pray the mind of Christ would be in you, and each of us, as the times draw near.

“Lord, keep our hearts, our ears, our eyes turned to you as the evil days draw near. You are our strength. You say, “fear not, for I have overcome the world.” We rely on your strength to see us through until we can say we too have overcome. We look forward to the joy set before us and say, “come Lord Jesus.” Until that day, keep our hearts in faith, not fear. “for God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of POWER, LOVE, and a SOUND MIND” Thank you Jesus, and thank you Father, in Jesus’ name. amen.”

          • from the wind says:

            Thank God
            Thank Jesus
And Thank You Brother for your prayer

      • lookinforacity says:

        HI WINDY

These are the ministries, that God has set in the church by the power of the Holy Spirit, to bring the church to unity.
God does not deal with people today as he did in the Old Testament, by the use of a sole prophet telling the people what to do.

        Eph 4:11-13
11.) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and
        teachers;
12.) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13.) Till we all come in the ((UNITY OF THE FAITH)), and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

God at the time of the Old Testament was dealing with “A” People, “A” Nation, where He would speak to them, through the use of Prophets.
If you think about it, today there are Christian believers in every nation on earth, and as you have said, a single Prophet would not be accepted by the whole of Christendom.
But 2000 yrs. ago He set up how He would speak to us, He set up His Ministry Structure for that purpose, through His Holy Spirit, so in essence God, is directing us personally.
This whole Earth thing is God’s show, He isn’t going to leave His children hanging out there on a limb. When the time comes He will take care of those that are His.

What I am saying is, don’t get all tangled up in the End Time stuff, trying to figure out Who, What, When, Where, Why.

Instead concentrate on “YOUR” personal relationship with God, (“Your Father”) then “YOU” will be sure to be in the exact place God wants you to be in when the time does come and so will all of HIS children. :>)

Now that is the message that the body needs to hear, more than figuring out the book of Revelation.
Or how we will all be able to deal with the end times.

          ๐Ÿ™‚ Gorgeous Brother!! AMEN!

        • from the wind says:

You speak truthfully, but where is the power that changes the world we live in? That is what I would hope that all of us would receive. But all things will be completed by God’s power, so I take it that you’re right. I should keep working on my walk with Christ. YHWH surely does know how to deliver His people, even if they are scattered in the earth.

I just hope that all will go well with those who are not in the truth. I have encountered people who are so scared they won’t even read the book of Revelation. Their fear worries me; it shows me how some people are afraid to even get close to the truth. I want them to love the truth. But perhaps the best I could do for them is what you pointed out for me to do.

So I ask that you pray for me to be closer to goodness and let the light shine through me on the fearing people for the rest of the alloted time?

      Hi Tim

When we read that Elijah will come in the last days, does it say that God will send Elijah (TWICE)?
The following are all of the scriptures I could find on the subject, are there any others describing Elijah’s 2nd. coming before Christ?

      Mal 4:5,6
5.) Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD:
6.) And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

      Mat 11:14
14.) And if ye will receive it, this is Elias, which was for to come.

      Mat 17:10-13
10.) And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elias must first come?
11.) And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elias truly shall first come, and restore all things.
12.) But I say unto you, That Elias is come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.
13.) then the disciples understood that he spake unto them of John the Baptist.

      Mar 9:11-13
11.) And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come?
12.) And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.
13.) But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.

If there are no other scriptures describing Elijah’s return, then when is, or was the (Great and Dreadful Day of the Lord)?

      JIM

      • Timothy Luke says:

Great research Jim! I believe you have hit on all the verses, however… There will be two witnesses who will be killed in the streets of Jerusalem before the coming of the Lord as Jesus comes with the armies of heaven to establish the Kingdom of God on earth. That, to me, would be the “dreadful” day of the Lord. The first coming of our Lord was not dreadful. He came as a lamb and proclaimed good will toward men and peace on earth. I suspect one of the two witnesses will come in the spirit and power of Elijah before the day of the Lord’s wrath is revealed.

        • So pray for those who dont know the Lord Jesus Christ. Pray for unsaved family members pray for our countrys and pray for the world that is lost and living in the dark. The rapture will be wonderfull and we will be finaly with the Lord but pray for those whose fate is seperation from the Lord Jesus Christ.

          • Saints ,

In the New Testament ,……in several places , …it is mentioned
that the end is ‘at hand’ …..
            the end is ‘imminent’…….

            Did this refer to
1.The end of the World ?
2.The end of the kingdom (Roman Empire , or …xyz dynasty ….?
3.The end of the lives of the person to whom the passage
            was addressed ?

Nigh , 2000 years have passed since then ,……
and still the wold exists ,……
What ‘end’ did the writer have in mind ?

I feel , it is not the end of all time ,….(though that will also come ),
but the end / death of the individual who read or listens to the passage , ……

Now , please don’t shower me with more Scripture ,…..

The author probably had a hidden message for us ,….
and are current understanding is rather different from what
            he meant ,……

Anyone care to elighten me ,……and other teachable
            brothers and sisters ?

          • Timothy Luke says:

Vikki, what am I to make of “now please don’t shower me with more Scripture,…”? I try to base the discussion on the Word of God. Personally, I am looking at a God who is like a zillion years old to whom a thousand years is as a day. In the 6,000 year period of man’s existance these things would have been written on Thursday with a reference to entering into the sabbath rest on Friday evening. “the last days” is entirely appropriate in that context. (there, I ‘dribbled’ a scripture in there… hope it wasn’t too much! ๐Ÿ™‚

        • I just wanted to let you all know that I highly recommend these Bible study teachings on the end times by David Eels! http://www.unleavenedbreadministries.org/?page=sabs-onehour

I fully believe with my whole heart that what he is speaks about the end times is completely true. (backed up by Scripture and dreams/visions people have had around the world. I’ve also been in prayer about these things, and I believe the Lord is showing me what he’s teaching is correct.). David teaches that the two witnesses, the antichrist, dragon and beast kingdoms, harlot, false prophet, and son of perdition (which is not the antichrist) are going to be large corporate bodies of believers around the world. For instance, he shows through Scripture that the Antichrist and False Prophet are not going to be individuals who come on the scene, rather they will be world-wide corporate bodies of people. (The Antichrist is everyone who doesn’t have the spirit of Christ and the False Prophet is the world-wide Apostate religious leadership). Those are just two examples but everything I’ve been learning is amazing.

I hope these teachings bless everyone on this site as they have blessed me!! ๐Ÿ™‚

  3. warrior daughter says:

Here are just a few of my thoughts on prophets….

There are still true prophets and then there are false prophets in the world today….

A true prophets will not waver from the Word of God…

A true prophet will not use their gift for money…

A true prophet will speak forth things that will not make them popular in the church…

A true prophet will not leave one confused….

A true prophet will attribute things to God (ie be a humble person)

A true prophet’s heart is for the people to follow after God ….

A true prophet will edify the body and not condemn…..

A true prophet learns to recognize God’s voice ….

A true prophet must know the Word of God….

A true prophet has much faith in God….

A true prophet is not upset when others judge their words…

    A true prophet loves people…………

A true prophet does not error in the prophecy because it come from God and not another…

A true prophet not only edifies the body but also warns the body but with this warning the prophet will not leave the people in confusion about what they must do but will give God’s way out of the sin or predictment….

The office of the prophet is not the same as the gift of prophecy…Many have the gift but are not called to the office of being a prophet….

  4. Timothy Luke says:

I can understand the frustration of what you are saying, but the fact is Jesus was the great prophet prophesied from the beginning. When He left, He said He would send the Comforter who would lead us into all truth. It is in abiding in the Vine and allowing the Holy Spirit to speak to and through us, that we have life. All prophecies have to be verified by the Word of God and our studying it to show ourselves approved. For this reason, why not apply ourselves diligently to the written Word and let it speak to us? Jesus unified the body, but also came to cause division as truth was separated from error. If we are to find unity in the body, it will be by our diligence in the Word and in prayer.

Do not be discouraged. There is a remnant. There are 7000 knees that have not bowed to Baal. Ask the Father to show you who His children are who live near you, and encourage one another as the days grow darker, until the coming of our Lord and the glory of His presence. THEN, the unity of all believers will be made full!

    God bless you!

    • from the wind says:

As always your words are inspirational, but does this mean that true prophets just ceased to exist after Jesus’ first coming? I have done as you advised, but there is a serious flaw with the Christian of today… Many “Christians” are claiming office with no power to back them up. So what am I saying??? We have several evangilists, preachers, teachers, and rarely proclaimed apostles, but non of them work the full power of God as it should be, and for almost 2000 years there have been no true prophets.

I believe that we could be unified and empowered as we should be if we would have the people of God living the way they should be…But sadly, there are no true prophets.

So are you suggesting that Our Lord Yeshua was just the seal of prophets as muslims claim of Mohammed?

      Please tell me?
