‘Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The Kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, “which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.”
The seed the Lord plants needs to be watered for it to grow and be fruitful. The living water comes forth from Jesus (John 7:38, John 4:10-14). We need to abide in Him and continue with Him and spend time with Him, be consecrated to Him for the seed to grow. Lest it dies. Revelation 3:16 ‘So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of my mouth’ There is still time to get things in order and repent to our first love. (Revelation 2:4)
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, “who, when he had found one pearl of great price (Jesus), went and sold all that he had and bought it”
We need to be willing to give up everything for the pearl of great price. Get rid of those things that are hindering or getting in the way of your relationship with Jesus.
