Forgiven and Delivered from the Guilt of Abortion – An Encounter with Jesus Christ

I remember when I turned 14. The world
didn’t make sense to me and I felt so alone and scared, like I
didn’t fit. Being a teenager, I was made to believe it was normal
for the insecurities which I felt. I now look back and see that this
was a point in time where God was calling me. I didn’t recognize
Him. He would have saved me from going through all I was going to go
through but I didn’t run to Him, I ran from Him a lot of the time-
getting myself deeper into trouble and further away from Him.

Importance of Forgiveness

Here is another newsletter from the archives of Daniel and Rebecca Yoder’s monthly newsletters.  They travel around the world teaching spiritual warfare. This article was very good on the importance of forgiveness. Forgiving Others        “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the […]

The Beginning Part 2- Forgiveness

I dont even know where to begin. There is alot to digest in the comments on my other blog. I decided to start a new blog with the subtitle Forgiveness so that I could track my SLOW VERY SLOW but permanent assent into forgiveness.

Bible-based Prayers for Spiritual Sight

(These prayers can easily be modified on the fly to be a prayer for a loved one or a group of people, as the need requires).

Lord, you declared that you came to proclaim recovery of sight to the blind. (Luke 4:18). Proclaim recovery of sight to MY (inner) eyes, the eyes of my heart!

You sent Paul your servant to “to open their eyes, in order to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are sanctified by faith in Me.” (Acts 26:18).

All About Christian Faith

The Christian faith has existed since the time that Jesus Christ was on earth. Followers of Jesus have had different understandings about many things, but all true Christians agree that Jesus Christ is a revelation of God in the flesh. We all believe that God came to earth to bring us back into a relationship with Himself.

Preparation for Ministry

The Word of God challenges us to put on the whole armour of God. Ephesians 6:10,11.

We are to have feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace.

What does this mean?

Lets look at each part of it. What do these words mean?

The word gospel means ‘good news’. What does the word ‘peace’ mean? The Word used in Greek is ‘eirene’ and comes from a root word meaning ‘to join or make one’.

The Meaning of the Tree of Life

"And out of the ground the Lord God made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life
was also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil." (Genesis 2:9).

Fixing a Bad Relationship

If you had a bad relationship with somebody it is best to follow these steps:

Usually there are faults on both sides in any relationship problem. One of the keys to being blessed by God in this area is humility. You may consider that the other person is 90% to blame, while your blame is only 10%. Nevertheless, you are not responsible for that person’s attitudes and actions, only your own. There is the possibility you have misunderstood what they said and did. The more you humble yourself in this process the more you can expect God’s blessing.

What to Do if Feeling Guilty Due to Sin

I am a Christian but I have sinned . I feel guilty. What can I do?

If you know what your sin is, and you feel guilty, thank God for it. This is God's way of helping you to see the need for change in your life. The good news is that you can be forgiven by God. Jesus has already paid the price for your sins.

God has made a provision for us to receive forgiveness of our sins. 1 John 1:9 says, "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive our sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

Eternal Security – Dare we believe it?

Back in 1997 I spoke with a pastor and the subject of the eternal security
of the believer came up. This pastor is a lovely, gracious man and is doing
many things to reach people in the community with the gospel. He obviously
loves the Lord and loves people. When I questioned him regarding the contents
of one of the theological books he was reading, it came out that he believed
in the doctrine that a truly born again believer is eternally secure, no
matter what he may do from that time on.
