The Paris Attacks

The Paris Attacks The terrorist attacks in Paris in 2015 . . . what are we to make of them? We know how many of the world view them, even those present at the music concert which was attacked. One such attendee, in a television interview afterward, spoke of them as just “more terrorism”. Really? […]

God’s Word Reveals the Covenants and Promises of God

It is important to realise that God defines His way of dealing with humanity in terms of Covenants or special agreements. God made a number of important covenants with people over the centuries. He made a covenant with Adam, with Noah, with Abraham, with David, with Jesus and through Jesus with us who are “in […]

Prayer Pastoring – Chapter 2 – Grace

This is the second chapter of our eBook
on Prayer Pastoring. The first chapter dealt with step one praying
for mercy. We often have judgements against us that halt our prayers
for ourselves therefore we need God’s mercy. Without mercy our
prayers are hindered. We often mistake opposition as coming from
spiritual warfare but many times it is coming from God himself and we
are reaping what we have sown. This opposition is the judgement of
God. Chapter one explains this process.

The Anointing with Oil – Marlies Zechner

5/ The Anointing of Oil

Exodus 29:6

Put the turban on him and tie on it the sacred sign of dedication engraved ‘Dedicated to the LORD’. 7/ Then take the anointing oil, pour it on his head, and anoint him.

We do not live under the Law of Moses any more, yet while praying for somebody who was under heavy demonic oppression God told me to, ‘anoint her with oil and dedicate her and consecrate her to God and declare her holy.‘ I have never forgotten the incident and I don’t remember God ever telling me to pray for somebody else like that again.

CUTTING THE COVENANT

This is my first attempt at posting a blog. The source of this information comes from the website written at the bottom. The comments are my own. Whether or not you agree with my comments is your prerogative. I realize that there is no Scripture, so you will have to do your own homework. It will give you a good reason to read your Bible. Anyway, here goes.

A series of events are set into motion when two people decide they want to “cut the covenant.” It is referred to as the blood covenant ceremony and is considered a most serious and solemn event.

AN ANIMAL IS SACRIFICED

What is the Bible?

The Bible is a collection of 66 books, 39 in the Old Testament or Old Covenant, and 27 in the New Testament or New Covenant. We can think of the Old Covenant as being the old contract or the old deal between God and men, while the New Covenant is the new contract or the new deal between God and man. The Old Testament contains the Law of Moses, books of history, books of poetry, books of wisdom, and books of prophecy, many of which are fulfilled today in amazing detail.

Partnership in the Gospel – by P.S. Rambabu

Partnership in the Gospel

Some relatively simple – but hard-hitting – questions are posed by Paul in Romans 10:14-15:

How, then, can they call on the one they have nol believed in? And how can they believe in tin- one of whom they have not heard? And how can (hey hear without someone preaching to them’.’ And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”

The answer to each question is equally simple, “They cannot.” A person cannot hear and believe without someone proclaiming the gospel message to them.

Promises to Abraham and to us

ABRAHAM’S SEED   You are a child of Abraham. God’s promises are yours when you start believing them. Go back to the original promise God gave to Abraham and find out what it says. Then make it your own.   Romans 4:13 for the promise that he would be heir of the world was […]

These are the last days, and we are living in the spiritually perilous times predicted by the apostle Paul in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. People are lover of self, money and pleasure yet hold a form of Christianity, thinking that having this form is enough.

It is significant because these are the amongst the last recorded words of the apostle Paul. In the next and last chapter of 2 Timothy, Paul writes:

The Righteous Shall Get Land – Psalm 37, Mark 10

Psalm 37 repeats the promise that the righteous shall get land. This would have both a natural and a spiritual application.Naturally, land is a great investment. It is a scarce resource which the government cannot print, only release for use. As world population grows, it needs to be inhabited more densely and grows in value.

In the Old Covenant, the land of Israel was very important. It was a big deal for the people of Israel to inherit and conquer the Promised Land.
