Unbelief in Believers

Unbelief in Believers

Once the disciples of Jesus failed to cast a demon out of a boy. I wonder what we would have concluded about it. Jesus told his disciples plainly that the reason for their failure to cast the demon out of the epileptic boy was their unbelief, due to their lack of prayer and fasting. (Matthew 17:20)

Unbelief in Unbelievers

Unbelief is a spirit which causes people to reject what God says is true. The more we can get unbelief concerning God’s promises out of our own hearts, the more we will be effective in destroying it in those who do not yet believe. Unbelief binds the hand of God. Honestly, we don’t need to be “au fait” with all the latest conspiracy theories and what Satan may or may not be doing (Isaiah 8:12,13).

The Big Lies of Satan

The biggest and most fundamental lie that Satan and his demons promote – both to believers and non-believers alike is this: that there is something more important right now than seeking relationship, intimacy and communion with God through Jesus Christ and the fulness of the Holy Spirit. We could call this lie the lie to promote distraction from relationship with God. If someone persists in an undistracted relationship with God for more than a few days Satan’s losses already will be immense.
