Some Celebrity Ministers I Do Not Trust

I never wanted to do this when I started this site, but in view of the present day apostasy which is becoming more and more obvious by the day, I believe I should go on record as naming some of the prominent ministries I do not trust. Its possible of course, that I am wrong in my assessment. You should bring it before the Lord, if any of this concerns you.

Sadly, there are very few on international TV that I do trust to a great degree today. I have respect for Reinhard Bonnke as a man of God and as an evangelist. I think his teaching is a bit inaccurate at times, but his zeal, passion and dedication for the gospel and for the lost is a great model for us all. I never saw him compromise on the money issue either. He shows a lot of trust in God, in my view. I also like T.B. Joshua, and believe he is a truly gifted prophet. I like many of the things that John Bevere has to say. But ultimately, it is for the Lord to decide these matters. Ultimately He is the judge, however, Jesus did tell US to beware of false prophets, whilst Peter and Jude both warned us to beware of false teachers, especially those who practice covetous and deceptive fund-raising techniques (Read 2 Peter 2 and Jude).

Some of the Ones I Don’t Trust

Todd Bentley (effectively “sells” the anointing, lies, deceptive fundraising, unbiblical divorce and remarriage)

Anyone who endorsed Todd Bentley at Lakeland
and has not repented of so doing.

Benny Hinn (deceptive fundraising, compromises with Roman Catholicism)

Billy Graham (totally compromised with Roman Catholicism and the NWO)

Richard Roberts (divorced and remarried with no Scriptural grounds)

Rick Joyner (endorses Todd Bentley and wants to give him a new worldwide stage, twists Scripture VERY cleverly, promotes strange and bizarre meetings)

Bob Jones (unbiblical and bizarre doctrines, proven false prophecies)

Rick Warren (seeks to build God’s Kingdom pragmatically by worldly methods, marginalises the Holy Spirit, CFR Globalist)

Robert Schuller (redefines the gospel in terms of people regaining self-esteem, pragmatic compromiser who does not believe that Jesus is the only Way to the Father).

Those who tell you on TV that God is commanding you to give them money, and will make you rich if you do so.

Brian McLaren – utterly apostate Scripture rejecting leader in the so called “Emergent Church” movement, who has deceived many by smooth words and phony “pastoral concerns”. And anyone closely associated with him who shares his views.

Anyone who endorses the papacy. The papacy teaches an extra-biblical system of salvation based on adherence to the rituals and sacraments of the Roman Church, and teaches that salvation for sinners comes only by submission to their system. At the same time, their church is full of sin, pedophiles, immoral priests, covetous practices and unbiblical and damnable heresies. By the way, it is not being Protestant that saves you, it is rather the grace that comes to those who have saving faith in Christ and seek to do the will of the Father.

Anyone who teaches you can enter heaven without holiness. The Word of God says that without holiness, no one will see the Lord. To deny the necessity of holiness for Christians, is to deny that Christians must do the will of God to enter heaven (see Matthew 7:21), and to effectively deny the importance of Matthew 5, 6 and 7 (the Sermon on the Mount).

Folks, the list is very incomplete. I don’t want to major on such things, but I do want to sound the alarm. You can do your own research on the net and find out more about these people if you so desire.

“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it.
“Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.
“Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravenous wolves.”
(Matthew 7:13-15)
