Lord, let my words all be words of love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)

I pray Father that I be swift to hear, slow to speak and slow to wrath; for the wrath of man does not produce the righteousness of God. (James 1:19,20)

I pray that I be slow to anger, and thus better than the mighty, and that I rule my spirit – which is greater than taking a city. (Proverbs 16:32)
