What do YOU think?

  1. I have been tormented by fear for more than six years. Fear of rejection when I want to testify, fear for the future, fear of poverty. Anxiety has stolen all my peace. Due to this, I fail to go for lectures, to do mt assignements, to be open. I have failed to progress spriritually. I’m stuck in this same circle. As a result, back sliding is a habit. Help me Lord!

  2. bornagainbytheblood says:

Fear can come to everyone, but we must yield our minds to the Holy Spirit so He can flush it away. Focus on the blood of Jesus, and the power thereof; the devil cannot stand the blood of the Lamb, so he’ll flee if you’re using faith.

  3. dresserandkeeper says:

I haven’t been here in a while but received a heads up from Beloved that this post was finally being used…praise God!

I’m praying for you E. and I do agree, your battleground can be turned into something positive.

Fear must go in the name of Jesus! I speak life in the name of Jesus!

  4. Eibhlin says:

Hello everyone. I am tormented by a spirit of fear, anxiety and depression for many years. I don’t know much about deliverance but I need your prayers so that I can stand up against the enemy and stand for Jesus. The fear has wrecked my whole life so please pray for me. Thanks in advance, Eibhlin.

I have been struggling with a phobia since age 5 called emetophobia. I also have panic attacks, so I understand what its like to fear.
I have fasted, prayed and know that Im am saved and I trust in Jesus. I know that Paul suffered a messenger from Satan,…thorn in his side and he prayed to God 3 times to take it from him but He didn’t. God told him His grace was sufficent for him and that in his weakness,..He was made strong. A lot of christians will use certain scriptures that will add nothing but condemnation to you because surly if you had perfect love you would not have this fear. All I can say is God has never let go of my hand and has been with me through every battle and every panic attack. I do not think that God does this but it is from Satan but that God brings me through every time.
God can take what Satan ment to destroy you and turn it into a ministry. There are so many in the body of Christ who are going through exactly what you are and you may be the one God uses to help them through this. Don’t wait until you feel free but act in faith and be open with your weakness and God will heal you.
I have heard many teachings as of late that your battleground is your testimony and your ministry.
I will pray for you right now that the Holy Spirit would encourage you and give you a new hope and a new vision that will overthrow this attack of the enemy. God is no respector of persons and if he will do it for me, He will do it for you as well.

      By Gods Grace

        Hi Scarlett

You seem to be pretty well adjusted with your condition. God’s Grace is sufficient, Praise His Holy Name.
        I like what you said
“I have heard many teachings as of late that your battleground is your testimony and your ministry”

There is an answer for those that would condemn you by saying, (“you lack enough faith, or do not have perfect love”). First Jesus spoke to Peter saying Get thee behind me Satan, but this second one works also, “OK”, you seem to have what I am lacking, so you pray for me to be healed, for it says.
        Mar 16:17
        And these signs “SHALL” follow them that believe; In my name “SHALL” they cast out devils; they “SHALL” speak with new tongues;

I did a study one time about healing, and I found that there were three different ways for someone to attain a healing.

        1) Through the faith of the person needing the healing.

        Mar 10:51,52
        51) And Jesus answered and said unto him, What wilt thou that I should do unto thee? The blind man said unto him, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
        52) And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way.

        Mat 14:36
And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

        2) Through the faith of others for the one needing the healing.

        Mar 2:3-12
        3) And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.
        4) And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.
        5) When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, thy sins be forgiven thee.
        6) But there were certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,
        7) Why doth this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?
7a) And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason ye these things in your hearts?
        9) Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and take up thy bed, and walk?
        10) But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (he saith to the sick of the palsy,)
        11) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into thine house.
        12) And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

        Mat 8:5-10,13
        5) And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
        6) And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
        7) And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
7a) The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
        9) For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
        10) When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
        13) And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.

        3) Through the person administering the healing.

        Act 3:2-8
        2) And a certain man lame from his mother’s womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
        3) Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms.
        4) And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us.
        5) And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them.
        6) Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.
        7) And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ankle bones received strength.
7a) And he leaping up stood, and walked, and entered with them into the temple, walking, and leaping, and praising God.

        Joh 5:4-9
        4) For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had.
        5) And a certain man was there, which had an infirmity thirty and eight years.
        6) When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
        7) The impotent man answered him, Sir, I have no man, when the water is troubled, to put me into the pool: but while I am coming, another steppeth down before me.
7a) Jesus saith unto him, Rise, take up thy bed, and walk.
        9) And immediately the man was made whole, and took up his bed, and walked: and on the same day was the sabbath.

I could not have written what I have, and then leave you hanging.

I speak blessing into your life, stand up in the name of Jesus, and receive your healing.
        Thank you Jesus{:>)

    • Timothy Luke says:

Eibhlin, you can overcome this! Jesus has called us to be overcomers, and so there is a way He has made to overcome.  The devil, as Scarlett points out, condemns us in our imperfection, and will use others, as well as our selves, to do the condemning.  We have a choice to settle for our state of imperfection and feel condemned for not being where we are going yet, or we can press on and trust the Lord to work with us and see us through. "He is faithful who has begun a good work in you to complete it unto the end.."

This is His work, to deliver you from fear. Entrust yourself to Him daily, and do not let the words of others turn you aside. Just as a physical therapist appears heartless because they keep pushing us to and "past" our limits, it often is easy to portray people of faith as being heartless because they push us a bit further than we are at…

I will reply to your other post shortly.  Blessings and peace to all. Scarlett, there is a place of freedom for you, but do not let others condemn you for not being there. We ALL fall short of the glory of God, but that does not mean God wants us there forever.  We are called to overcome. God's grace (strength) is sufficient.  A look at the messenger sent from hell to torment Paul reveals it came in the form of persecutions and beatings and shipwrecks and sufferings. From town to town the people were incited to beat him and chase him out if you follow the context of the preceding chapter.
