Our Noah’s Ark

Our Noah’s Ark
The last prophecy letter by Michael
This letter is dedicated to all Christians

Our time here is getting short. Therefore, I’ve decided to construct one final outline of prophetic events. These prophetic events, which I’ve been writing about and debating for over two decades, are now heading towards a conclusion. Therefore, it is important that this letters purpose be understood. This letter is an interpretation and will move fairly fast with limited explanation. I hope it is understandable to all.

Since Christianity began, believers have always been taught to have faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen, Hebrews 11:1. It has always been my thought that if the Bible was true faith would eventually become reality. In other words, prophecies that were written in a vague manner would start to become apparent and faith would become visible. An example of this would be Noah’s Ark. If we could see the Ark upon a mountain then something we learned as faith would become a reality. Reality is one step higher than Faith. Short of seeing God, which we cannot do until we die, this is as good as it gets for a believer. Therefore, this is what I call, “Our Noah’s Ark”. Our Noah’s Ark is prophecy fulfilled in plain view. This now becomes something seen, instead of faith in something unseen. Better said, some of the prophecies of Revelation are finally becoming discernible, which suggests a conclusion. The two most important items that must be derived from this narrative are as follows. If these prophecies which were written centuries ago are now happening, we know two things. One, that the author of those prophecies was God; and two, that the religion he brought was true. Therefore, all other religions are false. I’ll say that again. There is only one God and he brought only one way to Heaven. Any other way must become false and will lead to the second death, which is the death of the soul. Let’s get started.

Note: not all verses are exact quotes. Some are paraphrased.

Rev. 13:1 – The beast with seven heads and ten horns.

The seven heads are seven nations. The ten horns are ten kings. The beast is a group of nations that will wage war or the leader of those nations. Literally, it is Israel and the Muslim nations that surround her. This beast was born when Israel received her independence in 1948. This beast though, as stated in Rev. 13:1, is actually Israel at a specific time in her history. It denotes the Oslo Accords of 1993 and the beginning of land for peace. This agreement lasted seven years and ended in September 2000 with the start of the second intifada. This brings us to those three extra kings who the beast subdues in Daniel. These kings were Israeli Prime Ministers and all served during this seven year time frame. Arafat was known to have boasted that he affected the elections in Israel three times through terror. Daniel 9:27 says he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week. The covenant began with the agreement between Yasser Arafat and Prime Minister Rabin. It is also known as Daniel’s 70th week. In Hebrew, the word many is written Rab.

Rev. 13:3- The beasts deadly head wound.

Head is a nation. It is similar to the heads of Rev 13:1, only singular. The beast’s head (nation) was wounded in 1967 and is now being healed through the Oslo Accords.

Rev. 13:4- And they worshipped the dragon. Who is able to make war with him?

Islam is a false religion. The dragon is Satan. As long as they aren’t worshipping Christ they are worshipping Satan. Who is able to make war with him refers to the difficulty of fighting a terrorist enemy. In other words, they are not really an army. A suicide bomber is almost impossible to defend against.

Rev. 13:5- he was able to continue 42 months.

Arafat continued for 42 months during the Oslo Accords before terror finally caused the Israelis to stop giving into his demands. The last 42 months of those seven years were not nearly as productive for him. This was during the term of Benjamin Netanyahu as Prime Minister from 1996 to 1999.

Rev. 13:7- power was given him over all kindreds and nations.

Arafat had power over all peoples of the Earth in the United Nations. All nations wanted Israel to give back lands won in the 1967 war. Votes in the U.N. are always one-sided in favor of the Palestinians.

Rev. 13:10- this is a parable. Those who lead into captivity will be taken captive. Those who kill with the sword shall be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and faith of the saints.

Translation- If you lead others to false Gods you will be taken captive by those Gods. If you kill with the sword, which the Lord is the two-edged sword or better said the Word of God , you will be killed with the sword. In other words, believers will be taken by the Lord. This is the faith of the saints.

Rev. 13:11- and I beheld another beast coming up out of the Earth, and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.

This second beast has two horns. The horns are kings. Therefore, this second beast is a country with two kings. This is the Palestinian Authority after Hamas was elected and brought into the Unity Government in 2006.

Rev. 13:12- And he exercises all the power of the first beast before him, and causes the earth and them which dwell therein, to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed.

Hamas exercised all the power of the previous PA government because they were now an equal partner in the Government. Also, the leader of Hamas caused them to worship or honor the first beast (Mahmoud Abbas and the PA) because he would not honor the first beast. The first beast was the PA without Hamas as a member. The image of the beast is what the Government of Mahmoud Abbas represented. Verse 12 does not mention the image yet, we are just informed that he caused them to worship the first beast. Verse 14 and 15 gives the details of how that worshipping or honor was to commence. An image was created of the first beast that he (the false prophet) caused to be honored. This image of the beast is three items; the recognition of Israel, the honoring of all prior Palestinian agreements, and a renunciation of terror.

Rev. 13:13- “And he does great wonders, so that he makes fire come down from heaven on the Earth in the sight of men”. What is the great wonder that he does in the sight of men?????

The answer is Hamas or Palestinian rocket fire on the cities of Sderot and Ashkelon.

Rev. 13:15- And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast, should be killed.

Hamas gave life unto the image of the beast. Why? Because Hamas would not honor the image themselves. In other words, if Hamas agreed with the image it would never have been an issue. It was born from their disagreement. Therefore, they gave it life. Another way to say it is they caused it to be or exist.

Rev. 13:16- “and he caused all both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond to receive a mark in their right hand or their foreheads:
Rev. 13:17- And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Rev.13:18- Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding, count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man, and his number is, six hundred threescore and six.”

These last three verses all refer to the beast (Mahmoud Abbas). If you were to think of it as a time line, it drops back in time a few years. Verse 16 is the election of Mahmoud Abbas as the President of the PA Government after the death of Yasser Arafat. All voters received an indelible ink mark on their hands so they could not vote twice. This was the Mark. It says in verse 17 no one could buy and sell unless they had the mark, the name, or the number of the beast. The number of the beast happened on June 16, 2006. This was the date that a new program was established that allowed Mahmoud Abbas to receive funds to pay the salaries of his people. This program was called the Temporary International Mechanism. All salaries passed through the office of Mahmoud Abbas. Therefore, if you were a supporter of his and on his payroll you got paid. Hamas did not receive salaries. Hamas also did not receive the mark of Mahmoud Abbas. They boycotted the PA elections for President on Jan. 9, 2005.

I can’t do much better than that. This is why this is my last letter. There is nothing more for me to say. Now all that’s left is for the final war to start. I believe that will happen very soon. This is Our Noah’s Ark. Michael aka Ephraim

  1. Christian Faith, I just wanted to say thanks for all the interest in this thread and the replies. As a result, it inspired me to write a few more comments. I hope everyone had a nice Easter…Michae1

  2. Bikelite says:

With the war clouds over Libya, and Russia (Gog) protesting the coalition’s effort to stop Gaddafi, the eye of the storm cannot fail to be Jerusalem. Remember, Libya is part of the Gog and Magog war machine. This is an excellent time to consider how close we are to a New Temple on the Temple Mount.)

In 1952 one of the greatest discoveries of an ancient script, written on copper, was found near Qumran. It took several years to open or unroll the scroll in order for the deciphering of the text to begin. Because it was a very fragile document — nearly two thousand years old – there was great fear that it would be destroyed before it could be translated. The disagreements of the assigned scholars and the intrigue of such a valuable possession led to years of delay. There are still differences of opinions, but a fairly solid consensus is that the treasures noted in this scroll are indeed from the Jewish temple and they do exist.

The entire world is watching every event and every idea that relates to Israel. Numerous Bible prophecies concerning this chosen nation are emerging, this Copper Scroll being one of them. The leaders of Gog and Magog as named in the Bible are each in place and bellowing out their plans. Thirty years ago Persia (Iran) was our ally, but Bible prophecy scheduled that historic part of the world for a different course. For Biblical truths to be fulfilled, people of many stripes are used — often or actually in most cases — without one semblance of understanding about their role. Persia/Iran has been completely transfigured until they are ready to be the point nation leading the war to their own holocaust. Gog and Magog may well occur in 2011.

Nothing relating to Israel is more exciting than their talk of the coming Messiah. Their speaking about the Jewish Messiah cannot be separated from talk about their temple in Jerusalem. Yet, that temple site is already occupied by an opposing strategic religious center. Well over one billion adherents to that religion would fight to the death to stop a Jewish temple. This issue between the Islamic religion and Israel’s preparation to build their temple is one of the world’s hottest subjects. Only the Sovereign God can possibly solve this problem and He will.

The Copper Scroll treasures contain almost enough gold and wealth to rebuild the temple. A Catholic priest, Josef Milik, was assigned as the research scholar responsible for writing the official findings. He said that the gold and silver represented over 200 ton or 400,000 pounds. The entire treasure was estimated to be valued at two to three billion dollars some years ago. That has more than doubled at today’s value. Of course, these estimates are considered too small by some scholars and too large by others. There is some speculation that the final Copper Scroll’s trove of treasures will identify the location of the “Ark of the Covenant.”

Hershel Shanks, the editor of the Biblical Archaeological Review, tells about a meeting of scholars and experts in which the majority agreed that the treasure is real and that it all came from the Jerusalem Temple. (The Copper Scroll, Hershel Shanks, p. 51.) It is believed that before the Romans finally took and destroyed the temple in AD 70 that this wealth of gold and treasures was hid from them. Whether or not the “Ark of the Covenant” is part of this trove of temple treasures does not mean the ark has not been preserved.

The Copper Scroll treasures were almost assuredly from the Second Temple, but the Ark of the Covenant was not ever discovered after the First Temple. It seems certain that faithful priests had hidden the ark when Nebuchadnezzar was camping beyond Jerusalem’s Walls in preparation to destroy the city. This was 586 BC. From research, it is evident that Nebuchadnezzar sought diligently to save the Temple of Solomon, probably for Daniel’s and Jeremiah’s sake. Nebuchadnezzar’s general was instructed to take Jeremiah from among the captives and protect him. He was allowed to either stay in Israel and return to his own estate or go to Babylon to be cared for by his own people.

The Copper Scroll reveals the hidden place of sixty-four different troves or groups of treasures. Here are two of those locations, along with the list of items included: “In the basin that is in the valley of […], in the tomb of its source, a black stone 2 cubits (away); it is the entry: 300 talents of gold and 20 indemnity vessels.” (Ibid., Location 49, p. 100.) “In a cavity that is in the bright place north of Kohilt, opening to the north, and (where there are) graves at its entrance a duplicate of this document and an explication and their measurements and a detailed inventory of everything, one by one.” (Ibid., Location 64, pg 101.) In the location of the 62nd treasure, the amount of gold and silver is 600 talents (45,000 pounds).

When will this great abundance of treasuries be discovered? Actually, there is no need for this discovery until the Temple Mount is purified and vacant. I am convinced that most, if not all of these temple items, along with the wealth of gold and silver, is hid beneath the exact location of the ancient Temple of Solomon. If the Ark of the Covenant was directly beneath the Second Temple’s Holy of Holies, the priest could have offered the Blood sacrifice behind the veil and above the ark in Christ’s day. This would be the reason that the veil before the Holy of Holies was rent when the Son of God died at Calvary.

It seems fitting that the firestorms that will destroy the armies of Gog and Magog and obliterate the Islamic religion will also sweep the Temple Mount and purify it with fire. The promise of God’s defense of Israel includes prophecy stating, “Surely in that day there shall be a great shaking in the land of Israel” (Ezekiel 38:19b). Ezekiel further prophesied, “And the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground” (Ezekiel 38:20b). I add this possibility, “All the treasures of God’s temple shall be revealed.” When the war of Gog and Magog is finished, it will be time for Israel to build their temple.

The Book of Revelation gives reference to two different temples, the Heavenly prototype and the Third Temple in Jerusalem. This last great book of the Bible is written primarily to the church, but it would be impossible to eliminate the presence of Israel or the city of Jerusalem. The 144,000 Jews, who are converted to Christ immediately after the Rapture (Revelation 7:1-8), clearly show that God never forgets His Son’s earthly family. The nation of Israel will continue in unbelief until the Seven Years of Tribulation is finished, but many Jewish individuals will come to faith as the countdown moves toward the Millennium.

Jerusalem’s rebuilt temple is the focal point in the very middle of the seven years of the Great Tribulation. In His Olivet discourse the Son of God called this temple the “Holy Place.” That settled the fact that God will honor this Third Temple, even though it is rebuilt by Jews that will still be waiting for their Messiah. The temple is part of God’s process in preparing for the total redemption of Israel. The fact that the Antichrist desecrates the temple, as Jesus plainly taught, shows that this will end the Jewish effort to complete the re-establishing of Old Testament worship.

Jesus said, “When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand): Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains: Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house: Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes. And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day: For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened” (Matthew 24:15-22).

The Book of Luke gives us an additional look at Jerusalem and this brief moment of what is happening at the middle of the seven years. “Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled” (Luke 21:21-24).

Since the Book of Revelation is about the entire universe and God’s complete redemption of all things, Jerusalem’s new temple only receives a simple explanation. John is given the task of measuring this grand place and showing the Antichrist’s purpose to defile this highlight of Jewish rebirth. He stated, “And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein. But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months” (Revelation 11:1-2).

It’s clear that the nation of Israel will still be under the thumb of her enemies among the Gentiles and will not be free until the Great Tribulation is finished. This period is called “The Times of the Gentiles.” Dispensations in the Bible are distinct periods. They never suggest that God is uninterested in the rest of the world, but that His actions are precise.

Revelation does not show us the Antichrist and his image in the temple actually desecrating this “Holy Place,” but Jesus Christ prophesied that it would happen. John the Revelator described this event without renaming this location. “And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live. And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed” (Revelation 13:14-15). The Third Temple must be rebuilt and it will be a grand place. If it were not, the Antichrist would not have any interest in defiling it in his blasphemy against God.

As the Seven Years of Redemptive Tribulation comes to its closing moments, the great prototype temple in Heaven comes into view. I do not believe that it is possible to understand the significance of what the redeemed are going to behold. Any one of the three temples – Solomon’s, Herod’s, or this Third Temple – were or will be the grandest structures this world has ever seen. The Temple of Solomon was the greatest but the beautification by Herod of the Second Temple was almost as grand. Hershel Shanks quoted Josephus, “The gold Herod used in the construction of the sanctuary on the Temple Mount equaled 8,000 talents (600,000 pounds or 300 tons.).” (The Copper Scroll, p. 47 from Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews (Loeb edition) 14.105.) That’s 9,600,000 ounces at $1,000/ounce or nine billion, six hundred million in today’s gold value of $1,000/ounce. And that is just the gold and not the glory.

But, the things that we know on earth that are beyond description — as these earthly temples represent — will pale when that grand worship center of Heaven comes into view. The glory of this temple that could contain the combined sovereignty of the Father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit must become visible to the saints as the Great Tribulation ends. “And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail” (Revelation 11:19).

The sacred treasures of the past Jewish temples — Solomon’s and Herod’s — had to be removed from human hands and human imaginations. I believe God ordained that these treasures be hid from piercing eyes until His timing to establish His Son on the Throne of David. Jerusalem is the only city that could contain this divinely planned and blessed “Holy Place.” I’m delighted that Jesus Christ gave this last temple in Jerusalem a sacred title. For mortal flesh to call a city or a man-made temple a “Holy Place” could be questioned, but for the God-Man to call it such is breathtaking. I believe the treasures of the “Copper Scroll” and the original Ark of the Covenant are a part of God’s plan for His city of Jerusalem and His Golden Temple, where His Son will reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

  3. aftershock says:

I definitely agree that we should be turning to our Bibles at this time and paying attention to what is happening in the world now more than ever. It’s my belief that most of the countries surrounding Israel would like nothing more than to see the destruction of God’s chosen people, the Jews. I also agree with you that Islam is a false religion. Satan is very tricky and talented in telling half-truths with twisting it just enough to make his lies extremely hard to recognize. I believe Islam is a product of this through that method.

Countries like Egypt, Syria, Libya, etc have been ruled by dictators for quite some time who oppress their people severely. Even though I don’t believe they are necessarily true allies of Israel, I believe that they have been allowed to stay in power as puppet regimes in part because they have been cooperative with the U.S. as far as their oil supplies go, but also and maybe more importantly because they have been cooperative with the U.S. in helping to defend Israel against it’s most immediate and dangerous enemies. At least the African nations I mentioned above. I still don’t understand how Syria has managed to stay so quiet and low key in all of the turmoil over there.

What I see happening now is that the U.S. has painted itself in a corner. They have gone out and overthrown dictators and threatened to overthrow dictators in the past who were uncooperative with them in the name of democracy and liberation. So how can they let these dictators stay in power now with all of the uprisings and screams for democracy without rightfully being accused of being selfish hypocrites? The problem I see now is that Egypt and Libya are now about to fall into the hands of the Muslim Brotherhood and other Muslim extremist who are more than likely going to join the Middle Eastern countries surrounding Israel in aiming for the destruction of the Jews and capturing control of the Holy Land. With the loss of the puppet regimes in Northern Africa I don’t see how the U.S. will be able to provide Israel with the weapons and technology that they will need to survive.

Now to fast forward a bit. Obviously countries like Russia, China, North Korea etc are too big of world powers to be left out of everything. They have more and more interest in the Middle East and it’s oil every single day. If the U.S. is going to be able to protect Israel much longer, they are going to need outside support and help with the fall of the northern Africa regimes. To put it bluntly, I think the U.S. will have to join forces with China, the Soviets, and Koreans and to put it bluntly….that scares the living shit out of me. We will either have to let Israel be swallowed up by it’s enemies and give up our interests in the region, which is never going to happen, or try and align ourselves with the Communist countries so we don’t have to battle them to save our interests in the Middle East. Hopefully our country isn’t weakened so much by then that we are just completely taken over by them, which is also a scenario.

In order to avoid this touchy and complex situation, I foresee a highly regarded, respected, and loved world leader stepping in and promising and somehow establishing peace between the Arabs and the Jews. In my view, this will be the Antichrist who will now sweep in and become THE leader of the world.

So, finally this brings me to my different view on Rev 13.

I find your interpretations of Rev 13 to be very interesting and well thought out. I am in no way saying you are wrong or my view is accurate, but my view differs quite a bit. In fact, I have to admit that I know very little about the leadership of the Palestinians and the details of their dealings with Israel. I only started paying attention to it with much interest at all just before the turn of the century. I also have to admit that my views of Rev 13 are not ones that I came up with by myself. I have turned to numerous sources, views, and opinions over the years and payed closer attention to how things are playing out in that region to come up with my views and opinions on the matter.

Again, I’m not saying I have it figured out or you are wrong, but I will share some key points that I have a difference of in opinion.

13:1 I believe that the 7 heads and 10 horns may in fact represent nations and kings. Or perhaps 7 separate united nations and 10 leaders. When I say 7 united nations I am not referring specifically to the UN, but for instance, the EU as one nation with many states like the US has many states to form one nation. To me they represent some type of united world government and more than likely the United Nations or a New World Order which could very well be one in the same.

13:3-15 I see a ton of symbolism in Revelation, but I think this part is more literal than you give it credit for. I believe we are speaking about the Anti-Christ who will be under Satan’s control and given supernatural powers that deceives most everyone into believing he is god. I think he will actually be shot in the head and it will be healed. After a healed head wound and display of supernatural powers he will be thought to be invincible. Meaning no one believes he can be defeated in war without being crushed.

13: 16-17 I believe this technology already exists and is waiting to be implemented. I believe people will be chipped so that they can be tracked via gps and satellites and the chip will be necessary to purchase food and goods. You will have to claim that the world leader (Satan) is god and deny that Jesus is Lord to receive it or you will be exterminated. I also think that there will be numerous natural disasters to cripple the world’s technology. Earthquakes to cause problems with the water and food supply and volcanic eruptions that will block out the sun and cripple the technology that will be relied on via satellites and solar power. I have yet to find an explanation what 666 is supposed to represent that I feel is accurate.

I didn’t intend to go on this long, but this is what I’ve come up with my research. It began in the early 90’s when I first started learning of predictions of the end of the world that would happen in my lifetime.

    • Your comments are pretty much the general consensus of what mainstream Bible prophecy all agrees on. There’s only one problem with it. It is all waiting to happen. Everyday someone comes up with another perceived piece of the puzzle, which takes them further and further from the truth. I used to say the Prophecy teachers would be great at writing cartoons. Everything they preach is to the utter limits of the meaning. For example, take the issue of the Mark. They say everyone is going to have to take this mark and worship the antichrist. Well, first of all, we know that there is going to be a war. I don’t imagine the opposition will want anything to do with a mark of allegiance to some blasphemus dictator. That’s just just a quick thought. I have attached at the bottom of this introduction a letter I wrote prior to “Our Noah’s Ark.” This letter will help explain my position a little better. Another example, which needs a little thought, is the issue of the people who supposedly cannot buy and sell without this mark. No where does it say that all of these people in question must get this mark to buy and sell. It gives three items. It says these people must have the Mark, his name, or his number. The number representing the beast.
So, the first question that should be asked is why can’t I buy and sell? Is it because I did not worship some blasphemus dictator, or could it be literally, that I have no money. Nobody buys anything when they are broke. I perceive it is the latter. These are the stupid ideas that prophecy teachers spread and many, many people believe them. Ok, so I’m broke, how do I get money? The reason there was no money in the Palestinian Authority coffers was because Hamas was being boycotted. If the Governments of the western world stopped giving money to the PA because of Hamas, how could they get the money flowing again? This is the basis for my letters. I hope they help you, if not to believe my position, at least to see it better. The biggest thing is that instead of thinking like a cartoon to answer these questions, think like a person, who lives a daily life and has needs. Then the issues begin to make sense.
Lastly, I believe that the Lord spoke in parables, not to hide these things from his people, but to hide them from Satan, until the time came when they could be seen and understood. Letter to follow in next post. Michae1

      • To anyone searching for a logical answer to Bible Prophecy, this letter is for You.

In general, this is a letter that summarizes all of Revelation 13. Its purpose is to show the sequence of events which formed the conclusions in the letter entitled, “The Beast of Revelation 13 is Mahmoud Abbas.” Revelation 13 is a puzzle, a parable whose pieces are only revealed in the progress of time. This letter will attempt to bring all the pieces together into one narrative.

I would like to make a couple things very clear before I begin. These are interpretations from a Christian perspective. They are not intended in any way to be antisemitic. Furthermore, I believe the Jewish people have every right to live within secure boundaries and be independent.

Nevertheless, I will continue to be in disagreement with the majority because they do not have the will or the knowledge to admit they promote a false interpretation. The interpretation I am eluding to is the Revived Roman Empire theory. This scenario has been a dead end for years. I must admit though before WWI it had some validity. No ancient interpreter could have known that the Ottoman Empire would break into so many different sovereign states. Until the fall of the Ottoman empire the only possible answer seemed to be Europe. I apologize if this narrative moves too fast. It is assumed that those reading this page are somewhat versed in Revelation. HERE WE GO.

In reference to Revelation 13:1- The Beast rising up out of the sea is the Nation of Israel as it appears after the SIX DAY WAR in 1967.

What is meant by the term Beast? In general, most interpretations have this concept correct. According to most scholars he is the leader of ten nations. When the term Beast is used it can mean either the nations or the leader of those nations. It is the countries he leads and his location that is in dispute.

My interpretation of Rev. 13:1 is as follows:

The Beast can be either a group of seven nations that will wage war, which include Israel or the leader of those nations. In this case, that leader is Mahmoud Abbas. He is identified by his actions and the number 666. The glue that binds them together is Islam and their hate for Israel. This was the outcome of the 1967 war. It brought Israel into a permanent state of conflict with all of her neighbors. The beast was born in 1948 with Israel declaring its independence. A closer look can be seen in Rev.17. When Israel declared its independence, five nations went to war with her and five were vanquished. The word used for vanquished is fallen in verse Rev. 17:10. “And one is”, this is Israel. Israel won her war of independence. The other that had not yet come is the Palestinian Authority, which brings us to Rev.13:1 again. The misinterpretation of Rev.17 has been the most responsible for the the Revived Roman empire theory.

The beast rising up out of the sea having seven heads and ten horns is as follows. Seven heads are seven mountains as indicated in Rev.17. Ten horns are ten kings. This is a partial explanation of this parable. The most critical word here is the word head. If the correct meaning is applied to the word head its answer will make sense. In scriptures a mountain has two meanings. It can be either a mountain range or a nation. In this case when a head is referenced in Revelation 13:1 we are talking about nations. This applies to both the heads of Rev.13:1 as well as the beasts mortal head wound. The mortal head wound is the nation or land as claimed by the Palestinians. It is the beasts head (nation) that is wounded. The Beast is Mahmoud Abbas. It was mortally wounded in the Six Day War and has been revived in the Oslo Accords. The beast of Revelation 17 and Revelation 13 are the same because they involve the same countries.

Every theory must have a good foundation. This sequence of events can only point to one individual. I have been writing about these events for over a decade. If I had been wrong from the beginning, this scenario could not have made it all the way to its finish. As it was I had no idea that I was looking for a date, 6/16/06. I was just following the money trail. Was it a coincidence that the policy which enabled them to buy and sell and the date 666 occurred on the same day? I don’t think so.

It is always wise to search for the best answer. Who could fault someone for changing there mind when a better answer comes along? It is not dishonor to correct a mistake, but to continue giving false information especially in the realm of prophecy is dishonorable. Maybe some truly believe what they are saying, as for me I quit the big money preachers long ago. A hundred years ago I could understand, 20 years ago I could understand, not today…This is why the Lord will come as a thief. They’re all looking in the wrong place…

One last item needs to be mentioned here before I finish my complaint against our so-called prophecy teachers. It is a gross misinterpretation which needs to be cited. For some reason anytime the Beast is discussed he is immediately confused with Satan or the antichrist. Satan is not the Beast. He is in heaven right now. He will be cast out of heaven as per Revelation 12 or if you prefer 2nd Thess. chap. 2. The falling away is Satan and his angels being cast out of heaven. These are two different verses that say the same thing. Satan can only be revealed to the world after the Rapture of the Church. Christians will not go through the Great Tribulation which will last for 3.5 years. Satan will be a God to the Muslims. He is also known as the Mahdi. Mahmoud Abbas will also be worshipped to a lesser degree because he will have achieved his goal, the conquest of Jerusalem. Michae1

        Hi Michael

While I can agree with a lot of what you say, as logical understanding of Revelation, or Prophesy, I must raise this point.
You have made a statement that is a false speculation, and contradictory to what Scripture does actually speak as truth.

        Your statement.
“I believe that the Lord spoke in parables, not to hide these things from his people, but to hide them from Satan, until the time came when they could be seen and understood.”

These are the actual words of Christ as recorded in the Bible, in direct answer to a question asked by His Disciples, about why He spoke to the people in Parables. There is no mention of, or alluding to anything that you have surmised as the reason. The time had come when they could be seen and understood, He said so in verse (11).

        Mat 13:10-15
        10) And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
        11) He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
        12) For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
        13) Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.
        14) And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
        15) For this people’s heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

So to the contrary, we see that Jesus did speak to His people in parables, the people of His Generation, the people that Isaiah prophesied of, that in seeing they would not perceive, and in hearing they would not understand, because if they did see and hear, they would be converted, and healed.
But these secrets of the Kingdom were being with-held from them, because they were the Generation spoken of.

        1Co 10:11
Now all these things happened unto them for ensamples: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

If the people, Nation, Jews of Jesus Generation, had accepted Him and His message, then Salvation would not have passed on to the Gentiles, as it most assuredly has.
But as scripture does say, they were the Generation, to be judged.

        Luk 11:50
        That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

They were the Fig Tree Generation.

        Mat 24:34
Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

        Be Blessed

        • Your correct Jim. I think we might see things a shade differently though as concerning Satan’s part. The reasons you have shown in the scriptures I agree with, but these concern the people, or the masses. I am speaking specifically of Satan. If he knew all the answers to prophecy he could do his best to avert any situation not to his liking. He would be able to know what God had intended before it happened. By speaking in parables, God has given many ways of seeing the same information. Satan could not know the intended conclusion of those parables, until after they happened, just like us. Michae1

          • lookinforacity says:

            Hi Micha3l

I am not understanding what you think Satan’s part actually is.
But I am glad you agree with what I have written.

            You ask 2 questions
            1) Don’t you think that Satan knows there is a God?
            2) Don’t you think that he knows who God is and how he could be saved if he wanted?

The answer to your first question is, your first question is rhetoric. “YES” Satan knows who God is.

Your second question has me kind of puzzled though.
Do you actually think that Satan, can be Saved?
If so, then show the scripture you base this belief on.
So my answer to this second question would be, Satan cannot, that’s “CANNOT” be saved.
Satan was created an Angel, he is now an Angel, all be it a fallen Angel, and he will be an Angel when he is tossed into the Lake of Fire with Hell and Death.

            Rev 20:10
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
            Rev 20:14
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

The only beings in all of Gods’ Creation that Salvation has been offered to, are Human beings, therefore all of the reasons I have given, do only affect people such as you, and I, Satan does not enter into the equation.

            Your next statements.
“If he knew all the answers to prophecy”
“By speaking in parables, God has given many ways of seeing the same information.”

In answer I can only say, the information given in a Prophesy, and the information given in a Parable are completely different pieces of information.
Again I would ask you for the scripture that backs up your statements.

            Lastly you say.
“Satan could not know the intended conclusion of those parables, until after they happened, just like us.”

The intended conclusion of a lot of the Parables, Jesus gave in explanation to His Disciples, ie, (“Parable of the Sower.”) while others are self explanatory, ie, “The kingdom of heaven is likened unto.”
Parables, not being like Prophesy, do not have a future fulfillment to be looked for.
So just read the Parables of Jesus, and accept them and understand them as he intended them to be, by Christians, “because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven”
The Mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, are what all of the Parables are about (Period).

            Be Blessed

          • I deleted those questions. They are not in my reply. No, I don’t believe Satan can be saved. He has already been sentenced. The point I was trying to make is that he knows the program and he refuses to accept it. My words could have been chosen better, which is why I like to write as little a possible.

Concerning parables, Jesus spoke in parables to tell the truth, yet hide it at the same time. Some people are not supposed to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God. There are many instances where Jesus spoke a parable and then followed it with an explanation, but have you considered that there are parables that are not identified? Words that seem to make little sense until the parable is solved. All of my writings and interpretations of Revelation in this thread are derived from parables. They just aren’t announced. If the only parables you see are the ones Jesus has identified, then you have missed an important point in understanding. He showed us that he spoke in parables as an example of how the Bible should be understood. It is your duty to find these parables and understand them. Not doing so is reading the Bible like a novel, when in fact it is a mystery that is looking to be solved. One example, is mystery Babylon. There are numerous adjectives that describe mystery Babylon, but most people don’t even know where it is. It is a city. There are many more such as the temple. Do you know there are three temples? Can you name them? Do you know which one is being talked about and when?
That is the biggest issue of all. God jumps around in his sentence structure. What I mean is that a certain word can have multiple meanings, but if you are not aware of the correct subject being discussed, it can cause a wrong interpretation. For instance, there is Jerusalem on Earth, Jerusalem in Heaven, and New Jerusalem. When God is speaking is he talking about Jerusalem, Israel or New Jerusalem. If you lose the subject you get a completely different meaning. These parables that I speak of are saturated in hidden prophecies.

  4. Does anyone agree with this explanation for Revelation 13?

    • If anyone takes seriously the first post of this thread, now would be a good time to start watching.
