My personal encounter with the Lord

Here I come with one amongst many of the most memorable encounters with our Lord!!!!
I attended my first Benny Hinn Miracle Crusade in Amsterdam, Holland on September 28th and 29th
1998. I was prompted to go to that crusade because I had been watching Pastor Benny’s “This is Your
Day “on Super Channel since 1992 and I had also read his book “Good morning Holy Spirit.” In his
book he talks about his encounter with the Lord, so I went to that meeting asking the Lord to confirm
his calling upon my life; as I had, had other experiences before this event.
During the first meeting in the evening of September 28th, we were worshiping the Lord .The choir
was leading the worship and when we started singing this song; “O lord my God, when I in awesome
wonder … Then sings my soul, my Savior God to thee, how great thou art,” Pastor Benny stepped
onto the platform.
At that very moment, it looked like heaven came down. Immediately I felt fire like boiling water in my
stomach and fire in my left hand, from my shoulders to my palm. On the morning of the 29th it was
the same thing. In the evening of the 29th we were worshiping. And even before Pastor Benny came
on, I felt the fire on my feet; it was like putting my legs in a river of fire. Towards the end of the
crusade people were coming out, giving their testimonies.
All of a sudden Pastor Benny stopped the healing line and said God was doing something. In fact,
these were his exact words, “I must stop the healing line; don’t get me wrong the healing line is
important, but God is doing something very important tonight. There are people here God is calling for
a greater mission!”
Then he started speaking into the lives of those people. After that he said, if you know you are among
such people, come out; and I came out. He asked us to ask one favor from God. I asked God to give
me the ability to fulfill my calling. When he prayed, fire fell on my shoulders like thick honey flowing
down to my waist: We had knelt down while he was praying; I thought the fire was just a momentary
thing, but when I came back from Holland to Belgium, it was like someone poured gasoline on me and
set me on fire; I was burning 24 hours every day.
It became one week. One week became one month. One month became one year; it is now entering the 14th year that I had this glorious encounter, but it is there like it was yesterday. This was just the
beginning of my journey with the Holy Spirit and the testimonies that abound today through praying on the phone with my facebook contacts and others.
