Love not the World – Videos on 1 John 2:15-17

This was a hard message to teach – I had to fight distractions and my mind going blank. Its a lesson for me to pray more, and to realise my dependence upon the Lord.

God doesn't want his people loving the things of the world – the lusts of the flesh (immoral sex, gluttony, alcohol abuse, laziness), the lusts of the eyes (greed and lusts of the mind in all its forms) and the pride of life (seeking to boast in who you are, what you have or what you have achieved in life). God wants us to love Him and love others with all we have.

This message is important because many Christians feel free to waste their lives on television, video games and all kinds of distractions instead of seeking to worship God and serve His purposes.

I think plenty of other teaching videos ought to be made on this theme, but I do release this brief video hoping it will be of some help to you.

Here is a second video on this subject – an Exhortation to “love not the world”.

I invite you to build a faith community together with me. Join my social media channels and let’s connect, especially if you want freedom or fullness in Christ.

My Telegram has a ministry channel. On Tiktok I have many videos and new ones regularly.
