  1. Interesting, as they say, we`ve all been there, I`m still strugglin, but wait! After many years of this, searchin for the key, so to speak, this is what i reckon. a) you don`t want to go to hell, Gordon Bennet, no one does. Who told you that you are? Was it implied by some Christian (so called) literature designed to motivate you into witnessing for Jesus . . .or else? How many pentecostal churches do this, and lose so many people who needed helping, not hindering? Lost, never to return to a church, or worse, the Lord? Makes me angry. Listen, in my early Christian days, when the Born Again anointing had died down (it happens) I felt like I wasn`t goin to make it. Like I was goin to hell, u know what I mean. We`re talkin 1992 or so, the lesson`s still valid. I wasn`t free from sin, still aren`t, I`m 61 now, nothin`s changed but – what happened then is relevant; I had this conversation with Satan, I asked for it, nay,I demanded it, from the heart, from the spirit, I know not. I said “You and I are to thrash this out before God, in court. it needs dealing with.” I didn`t know much scripture then, of course. This is what happened, I was shopping at Asdas, (Walmart if you`re American) I became aware of a court sitting, behind closed doors. I was outside, rather like an expectant father with the missus about to give birth. I wasn`t smokin, but would`ve been if was one. Anyway, after a period, the result of this case was announced. NOT GUILTY! NOT BLOODY GUILTY!! Do you derive I was a bit happy about this? The best is to come. I was shown why I was NOT GUILTY – I was hanging on a cross with Jesus. Strange? “You are crucified with christ” someone, probably Paul, said that somewhere. “You are a new creation” IN GOD`S EYES, not your own and certainly not in Satan`s. Our confidence is in Jesus, not in our own efforts, if somebody out there is listening to this, maybe all the struggling Christians – who God does not despise – ypu know, the lame, the blind, those of no account – spiritualy lame, spiritually blind, etc as opposed to those who say they can see -may well rise up. In power. DON`T be swayed by the teaching of men, discern what the Bible is saying, No man can interpret sciptures for himself, it is a gift of the Holy Spirit, one which I treasure when the Lord discloses his solution to so many problems I have, although I must say, mine are trivial compared to some. Sorry about the length of this note, I enjoy talking about the Lord, be blessed in His name, don`t you dare worry about his purpose for you, your life lies hiden in Christ; someone said that. . .

  2. Hi Will

Praying for the Lord to lift the veil of darkness from you mind and illuminate it with His Truth. May the Lord be opening the way for you to find Him and live your life according to His ways so you m,ay reap all the Blessing the Lord has for His children. Amen

  3. Heya Freak4Jesus15

I pray for your situation. Just know that God is always with you and faithful to you.
‘Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you’ Hebrews 13:5

Hey, do you have an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit or know about His working in us as christians? I know my christian life was a lot harder before I learnt that it’s about waiting and trusting on the Holy Spirit to work in us and do all, not so much our own efforts. Anyway there’s really a good book on this area called ‘The Indwelling Spirit’ by Andrew Murray. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

    God Bless
    Amen

I understand that you are currently wondering where is God in the midst of your life? Why isn’t He communicating with you and enabling you to feel and know His presence?

This is the Devils work to make you doubt. He is good at putting up walls or strongholds in your mind against God. I know this because scripture tells me this.

God is ready to talk to us but we have to take the time to come to Him. The best way is through the Bible.

The Bible tells us how much God loves us, each one of us. You need to read the Bible regulalry to come to know these truths so you are not made to doubt it by the devil.

RO 8:31 What, then, shall we say in response to this? If God is for us, who can be against us? 32 He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all–how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things? 33 Who will bring any charge against those whom God has chosen? It is God who justifies. 34 Who is he that condemns? Christ Jesus, who died–more than that, who was raised to life–is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us. 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? 36 As it is written:
    “For your sake we face death all day long;
we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered.”
RO 8:37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, 39 neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In the following verses we are reminded that how we are saved (& on what basis). See we are saved not because we have done enough good things but because in His mercy God allowed His Son (who was perfect) to die for your sins and mine. So you can be sure that you are saved and hae eternal life. Keep reading God’s Word and you will learn these things and be confident of your salvation.

TIT 3:3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.

Each person who is saved and becomes a child of God has a purpose. That purpose is to live a life in service to the Lord and part of that is to be a witness to God to go out and tell others the Gospel. The Holy Spirit helps us to do this.

So just pray for the things that are bothering you and the Lord will help you overcome them and learn more about Him and His Word so you can mature in Christ and be confident in your salvation.

    Cheers
    Mel

thank you mel. i really appreciate that. That might really work. i have been feeling like this since September 26 2008. i actually cut part of my finger off and i was really depressed. And during the super bowl. i actaully had a emotional breakdown and just started crying. because i had to tell what happened. I guess after the super bowl i started feeling the way i do now. I kinda sorta feel like i am a lukewarm chrisitan and i dont want to be that. I want to be a super Jesus freak. I dont know how to get out of it. If anyone else wants to help go ahead.
