My wife and I, are evangelical believers who believe in the present day operation of the power of God towards those who believe, as described in the New Testament. We seek to focus on Jesus Christ, believing Him to be truly the Son of God and the only true Savior of mankind. We acknowledge the authority of the Scriptures as being superior to the authority of any religious leader or church - yet we do not claim that our current understanding of the Scripture is correct in every point.
We believe in the Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, the doctrine of the Holy Trinity and the divinity of Jesus Christ.
We believe that spiritual beings are just as real as material entities. In fact, the spiritual is eternal, and therefore more steadfast.
We believe that all people have a need to be saved from the works of the devil, who operates today on the earth through a vast multitude of evil spirits. These spirits deceive, harrass, entice, oppress and enslave people in many ways - yet they must bow before the name of Jesus, when a true believer operates in faith and patience against them.
We believe that Jesus Christ died on a cross to pay for our sins and the curses associated with sin. We believe He rose again on the third day, demonstrating the truth of His claims about His identity, His conquest over sin, death and the devil. Through identification with Jesus Christ, we too can have a victorious life.
We believe that forgiveness of sins comes directly from God and not through the ministrations of a priest of any kind.
We believe that without faith it is impossible to please God, and whatever is not of faith is sin (Hebrews 11:6; Romans 14:23)
We believe that true faith in Jesus and the gospel will result in the forgiveness of sins for those who turn to God.
We believe that salvation is impossible without repentance - a turning from and forsaking of sin. However, sinless perfection, even if possible, is not a condition for acceptance with God. We are accepted by God when we truly belong to Him.
We believe that only those who learn from and follow Jesus have the biblical right to call themselves Christians. (Acts 11:26)
We believe in the proclamation of the Kingdom of God with signs, wonders and miracles.
We believe that God's will is divine healing and health for all who believe, until God's appointed time for them to die. (Exodus 15:26; Isaiah 53:4,5; Matthew 8:17; Psalm 103:1-3; Mark 16:18)
We believe that the Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a distinct work of grace which is not to be confused with being "Born Again". We believe that all those who have been baptised in the Spirit can speak in tongues, and usually do. Tongues is primarily a way of communicating with God by the spirit.
We believe that most Christians today still need deliverance from demonic oppression.
We believe that prayer, obedience and true love for Jesus, with patient endurance, will result in spiritual revival and awakening anywhere. We believe that God will pour out His Spirit in unprecented magnitude in the near future, before the return of Christ.
We believe that Jesus Christ will return to fully bring in the Kingdom of God, which is now only partly manifested in and through those who believe and submit to Christ as King.
We believe that those not belonging to Jesus Christ are already deeply influenced by Satan. Those who die, not belonging to Christ are claimed by Satan and will suffer eternal and unbearable torments. We believe this is just, since there is no good excuse for rejecting God, His Messiah or being indifferent to the One who made us, who communicates to all through their consciences and to whom we owe everything.
We believe that those belonging to Christ, upon death, will enter God's Kingdom
and enjoy the unspeakable goodness of God forever.
